This is the first diary I’m writing in the youth summer camp.

Everything is new to me, new class, new teachers and new classmates. My

classmates are all good students and they can speak English well. I think I can

learn a lot from them, and I can make friends with them.

The teacher from china is full of emotion when giving a class. And her

class is very interesting. To my surprise our foreign teacher can speak chinese

very well, but in my opinion, her class is a little boring. She should have made

the class more active.

Compared to my school, Zhejiang University seems so big that it takes us a

few minutes to commute between the classroom and cafeteria.

一切对我来说都是新鲜的，新的班级，新的老师和新的同学。我的同学都是好学生，他们英语讲得很好。我想我可以从他们身上学到很多，我可以和他们交朋友。

这位来自中国的老师讲课时感慨万千。她的课很有趣。令我惊讶的是，我们的外教汉语讲得很好，但在我看来，她的课有点无聊。她本该让全班更活跃。

与我的学校相比，浙江大学似乎太大了，我们从教室到食堂之间要花上几分钟的时间。

在上周五的运动会上，我们兴高采烈的期待着比赛的到来。

比赛开始了，我们就像运动员似的，个个精神抖擞，聚精会神，就等着裁判员发令。

裁判员说完：”开始“，只见”刷“的一声，李明泽那一排冲了出去，他就像飞奔的骏马一样跑得飞快。跑在第二的王文圣也不甘落后，紧追不舍，虽然跑得像风似的，也追不上李明泽，李梦泽 的了第一名。

到我们这一排了，我迫不及待的想跑了，只见裁判员一声令下，我们一排的每个成员好像踩了风火轮似的跑得飞快。

我和郭昊在比赛前说好看谁能跑第一，我们跑得不相上下，我觉得旁边的树好像怕我似的个个往后退。

虽然我没有跑过郭昊，我决定以后再和他比个高低。

虽然我已经汗流浃背了，但是我很开心。

The population of the world has already passed six billion. The population problem may be the greatest challenge of the world today. The earth has been very crowded and there will be standing room only before long.

China’s One Child Policy is a good way to solve this problem and stop the population from growing so fast. It also can help our country develop quickly then people’s standard of living will become higher and higher.

At the same time a lot of other problems will be done with, such as employment problems, food problems, water problems and so on…So I think it is necessary for China to carry out this policy.

早上的闹钟一响，我睁开眼，不拖泥带水的直接起床。一番洗漱后，我穿上运动服，换上跑步鞋出了家门就开跑起来。

我喜欢跑步，并且这个习惯也已经坚持很多年了。天气好的时候，在朝阳还未升起的时刻，天边泛起鱼肚白，在这淡淡的天光之下，我的身影出现在小路之上。我迎着清风，听着鸟鸣，在这个清晨的时光里，用跑步来迎接我新的一天。

跑步的时候，我喜欢慢跑，带着节奏，慢跑向前方。每天早上我跑步的路线都不定，更多的时候是根据个人的心情来，想直跑的时候就直跑，想拐弯的时候就拐弯。因为不管我跑那条路，最终都能跑回家里来。

but we are happy . I can cut tape to my father and he stick .In this way ,we

finish these tired task .After this ,we clean the room .1st ,I can clean the

floor .The wall is owned to my father .And my mother clean the window .We

cleaned our room at last .Oh。

August 12，20xx Friday Today， I did housework for grandmother. She is not very healthy and I decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will feel happy and bee better. Suddenly， an idea hit me that it’s terrible to grow old becuase you have to worry about both your health and others’ opinions. Once again， I make a decision to be a good girl.

Yesterday is the Lantern Festival， can be noisy！ According to the traditional Chinese folk， the day of the magnificent on brand night， people points up lights all light， to show celebration。 Go out the moon， burning lamp burning， happy event put lantern riddle quiz， were yuanxiao， have a family reunion， the backdrop of the festival， feel happy。

This days, my family go to Qinhuangdao(秦皇岛) have a visit .In there ,we use

camera take a lot of photos. We see many Qing Dynasty (清朝) lifestyle .The most

famous view is Jiaoshan Greatwall(角山长城). It is too high and hard to go up .But

we get it .We spend three happy days .We seat down the trolley (缆车)to fly in the

air like a bird .The days which I spent in there is different from my hometown

.I think I will visit much more views if i work hard .It。

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on.

It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time.

Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high

reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time.

Although I have more than a-month holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to

do. I had a lot of homework to do and I am essential to complete the homework as

soon as I have time.

My home is on the first floor. there are two bedrooms, a kitchen and a

living room. I’m a child. I have a nice bedroom. In my bedroom, there is

bedroom, a closet, an air- conditioner and so on. My closet is green. My bed is

blue. I love my bedroom very much.

Environment protection

Today,I went to the park with my mother,when we walking along the lake,I

saw a couple was siting on the bench at the edge of lake, eating snacks and

casting the packaging into the lake.I was so anger to see that!I think their

behavir is very shameful.The park is a place for all citicens to enjoy beautiful

scenery ，not a place for them to cast rubbish casually.All of us should take

actions to protect our environment,only in this way can we have a clean and

beautiful world.

到了场地时，可算是人山人海，小区里所有的人都来了。我下定了决心：一定要成功!比赛开始了，只听裁判员张主任拿起枪朝天空一打，便听到震耳欲聋的枪声，我以迅雷不及掩耳之势跑向终点，风在耳边“呼呼”地吹着，我感觉自己像小鸟一样在天空中自由地飞翔，小二见我跑得这么快，便像一阵风似的追过来了，我和他像两颗出堂的炮弹一样，朝终点飞去。这一路上，我们俩你追我赶，互不相让。可是快要到终点时，我已跑得气喘吁吁了，我跑不动了，站在那里大口大口地喘粗气，小二看见我累了，便“哈哈”大笑起来，他转动着全身，打算倒过来走路，可是就在他倒过来走的时候，一个小孩扔了一块香蕉皮，正好放在小二的脚下，小二一不小心，便向前一倒，摔了个狗啃泥。他站在那里，一动不动，过了一小会儿，他的眼泪像断了线的珍珠，流了下来，我趁机跑到了他前面，赢了比赛。

顿时，欢呼声、鼓掌声……交成了一曲交响乐，我沉浸在欢乐中，而小二却还在那儿哇哇大哭。

Thanksgiving Day is coming soon, it is on the fourth Thursday in December.

Thanksgiving Day is very popular in western country, on that day, people will

make a big turkey to eat. The day is to in honor of Indian people’s great

kindness. A long time ago, some puritans took the boat May Flower to Americafor

October 16th, Saturday

The sun was shining really brightly. We could hear the birds singing outside the window. It was a fine day！

I went to the City Wildlife Park with my classmates by bus. We arrived there at 8:00. When I got out of the bus, some of us had rushed into the gate of the park. First, we visited the golden monkeys. They were lovely and cute. They jumped from this tree to another tree which was about two meters away. That was amazing, wasn’t it? And then we watched an animal show. They danced like humans. They could do everything we asked them to do. After that we visited safari park. All kinds of animals could be seen there, such as tigers, lions, deer and goats. I loved lions best, because they were the king of the forest, they are so powerful. I wished I could be strong just like them !

How lovely they were! They were my friends! They could smile and cry just like human beings. We should regard them as our friends, and we should not hurt them , instead, we should protect them! They need our help!

今天，我校举行‘20__年放飞梦想’跑步比赛。我和七名同伴被老师选中了参加跑步比赛。

时间快要到了，我们精神抖擞的在篮球场做着热身运动。时间到了，我们分别站在起跑线上，准备跑步。只听张老师一声口号响起，我们飞快的冲了出去，就像美丽的梅花鹿轻快地奔跑着。

由于我第一圈跑得太快了，第二圈就跑不动了，就像好几块大石头绑在我的腿上，我迈着沉重的脚步往前赶。和二班的同学拼搏，在我班同学的呐喊中，我咬紧牙，使出吃奶的劲，连超了四名运动员，到达了终点，那时我已经气喘吁吁的弯着腰，特别想吐。这时我的助手把我的衣服披在我的身上，搀扶着我慢走了一圈才回到班里。

记事型是用英语记述当天自己生活学习中发生的事情。

议论型是对生活中的某一事情或情况现象谈自己的看法，发表议论。

描写型或抒情型，则是对某人物事物的特征做细致的描述，或针对某事物抒发自己的感情。

1.格式：一般是在左上角记上当天日期，星期，时间的`排列法与书信一致，星期写在日期之后;右上角写上当天的天气情况，表示天气情况的词一般是形容词，如：fine

(晴朗的)，cold

(寒冷的)，snowy(下雪)，sunny(阳光充足的)，rainy(下雨的)，cloudy(阴天的)等。日记的小标题写在下一行，也可省略不写。

2.时态：写日记的时间一般是在下午、晚上，有时也可以在第二天补写。因此，日记中所记述的事情通常发生在过去，常用一般过去时;但当记述天气、描写景色或展望未来时，可以用一般现在时或一般将来时。写法大致和写汉语日记相同，都是在正文之前有日期、星期几及当天的天气情况。注意内容表达要清楚连贯、准确。

I am free now as I am spending my winter holiday.

Although we have some homework, we can finish them in several days. And the

rest time we can make good use of. My god! We have been very tired after hard

studying. In winter holidays, I want to have full sleep and eat good food in

order to replenish myself. Last but not the least, I will have a good rest.

I have rested for a week. I began to feel bored. So I went out with my

friends. They are my best friends in the middle school. We didn’t go to

someplace special. We just saw the other. We had lunch together. While we were

having lunch, we were still talking about the new school and new friends. Yes! A

year later, we have grown riper. And we learned much more things and got new

I am Happy

Today， the biology class is very different. We don’t need to sit in the

classroom， because the teacher takes us to do activities. We go to a field that

is near our school， and the task for us is to observe flowers. We feel so

excited and finish the task very carefully. It is a good way for us to learn

knowledge. I am so happy.

一、掌握日记的正确格式

英语日记与汉语日记的结构相似，主要由两部分组成，即书端和正文。

1.书端（Heading） 英语日记的书端，是专门记载日期、星期和天气的，这一点与汉语日记相同，但在排列上有所不同。英语日记的书端在正文上边的左边（顶格），从左向右推进。

1）英语日期的写法有两种：

（1）先写某日，次写月份，最后写年份。某日用序数词的缩写形式；除May ， June和July三个月份外，其余各月份均可缩写；年份均用阿拉伯数字书写，但不能把“1991”缩写成“91”等。例如：

15th August 1989

（2）先写月份，次写某日，最后写年份。用这种写法比较普遍。某日用基数词，也可用序数词的缩写形式，但后边须加逗号。例如：

August 15，1989

August 15th，1989

如果在英语日记的书端里要写星期的话，可将其写在日期的前面或后面。例如：

Saturday，October 22nd，1983

October 22nd ，1983，Saturday

2）天气情况

如果书端里还要记载那天的天气，只需用少数的词，如“Fin e”“Cloud y”等形容词表示。天气写在日期之后，须用逗号隔开。如果第一行内写不完，也可以移到第二行去写，但第一行内前边要空格，不可与第二行平头。例如：

Saturday，March 4，1988，Fine but windy in the afternoon 常见的天气用语有：

fine 晴天的 rainy 下雨的 cloudy 阴天的，多云的

hot炎热的 shiny 晴朗的 cold寒冷的

2．正文（Body） 日记是每日生活的记载。生活的内容广泛，但写作时应有所选择，最好是记下当天有意义，感受最深的东西、不可巨细不分地记流水帐。 记日记的手法灵活，形式多样，它常用叙述的方法，可议论、也可抒情和描写；有话则长，无话则短，甚至于三言两语亦可。

值得一提的是日记的时态选择，由于日记记载的事情通常已经发生，因此谓语动词一般用过去时态。然而，根据实际情况，也可用其他时态。例如：

I went to school at seven this morning．When I got to the classroom，the class had begun ．

When I got home，my mother was cooking．

注意：表示习惯性的动作，客观事实、普遍真理、名言或谚语时，常用一般现在时。

All roads lead to Rome．（条条道路通罗马。）
