第二天，兴奋至极的我们一家子早早地便出发了，仅仅一个多小时的颠簸，我们便来到了这苏州的明珠—太湖。正如图册中一样，这儿水不深而辽阔，山不高而清秀，别有一番风味。我牵着爸爸妈妈，沿着这颗美丽的绿宝石悠闲地散着步，十分惬意。可正当我深深地沉醉于这世外桃源的美丽景色时，一个大大的问号突然在我的脑海中浮现—这儿疑似和图册中的太湖不大一样，但是，又是哪儿不对劲呢？我百思不得其解。正当我百思不得其解时，边上的一位外国友人用生硬的中国话说了句“这水怎么不清啊！”，一语点醒梦中人！我先是暗自窃喜：真是踏破铁鞋无觅处，得来全不费工夫啊！可却又马上陷入了沉思之中--茫茫太湖三万六千顷，集雄伟、秀丽于一身。兼具苏州园林之精巧与杭州西湖的神韵，步步有景，如入仙境。那水更是清澈见底，水底的沙石与鱼虾清晰可见。可如今，又怎会如此浑浊不堪？毫无疑问，这是我们人类的“杰作”！来这游玩的游客们随意地将垃圾丢入了太湖之中，附近的工厂也将污水排入了湖中……尽管还有可敬的花白鲢卫士，可毕竟它们的力量是渺小的，又怎能与人类无止尽的破坏相抗衡呢?
