me. I love my grandpa.

Smoking And Health

Today smoking is a widespread habit ali over the world. Not only the old,

the youth, but also middle school students have been engaged in smoking. Many of

them think that smoking is a smart symbol.

However, smoking is harmful to one’s ,health. It contributes a lot of lung

cancer, from which many people have died in the past years. It can also cause

many other diseases. In a word, if you smoke, you do have a much greater chance

of losing your health. Furthermore, scientific research shows that smoking is

not only harmful to smokers themselves, but also a threat to public health,

especially to women and children. Therefore, many countries have made laws

forbidding smokers to smoke m public places such as cinemas, stations,

Los Angeles is a beauliful city.There are blue sky green grass.Grass fields

were intermixed with areas of woodland.We walked across the springy grass.l like

I went to a lot of place Disnep`s park and Hollywood.This summer holiday l

made some new friends. Do you know who they are?Let me tell you：they are my

my father is a nice man. he likes to play computer games. he is an owner of

a factory which produces many things .he is good at designing. he works very

hard. i love him very much because, sometimes, i can help him to do something in

his factory .he is always on business trips because he has his business

everywhere so it takes up too much of his time .

therefore, he doesn’t have any time to play with me but i don’t blame him

for that. i often spend a lot of my time on the computer, so i have something to

do. my mother is usually on the phone and tells my father to get home early but

my father doesn’t listen to her. so my mother and i sometimes are upset and i

It was the final day that I got to spend time with my friends; because

tomorrow I would have to move where my aunt lived. My friends were very sad, and

I myself was also too. We huddled there for a long time, until our parents

called us home. The next day we woke up early and packed everything up; then we

took the train and started out for my aunt’s home. That day was so very hot, and

we had to climb a mountain before we arrive. Actually, I got to say that that

was quite amazing.

Not to mention hat during the climbing, I heard something that had shocked

me very much. Which also meant that I didn’t get to care as much as I was

supposed to; and it also gave me a very good idea that depends on my braveness,

Here is how the story went on: When we arrived at the station, I got off

my dad caught me since that he was in the first. I was very angry about that; my

dad said that we were going to climb a mountain.

When we arrived, dad showed me the map, and that we were going to have a

climbing race. My dad won of course, and I was the last. I was very sad; but my

mom said that was matter. Then I said, “Because first I got to lose my friends;

then I became angry because you said that I could see them in the future; then

everything went wrong.” “Like what?” asked my mom and dad together, “Like losing

the climbing game;” “So, it was just for fun like playing video games in the

house. Or trying to blow up your body in the lab, and besides tomorrow you can

see your friends again; we are only staying here for one whole night,” at these

words I was very astonished; even surprised of my wits.

That was when the next morning, I went back, and could play with my friends

once more. It was a very funny story since it was a real one, and I thought that

we were going move there. My friends questioned me about it, and yes I only had

one answer, I was playing with you and didn’t listen carefully.

I am ten years old now， I am studying in the very beautiful school. The

schoolyard has green trees and colorful flowers around. When I walk into the

school， I feel like I am going into a wonderful land. There is a big playground

there， there are many amusement facilities. I like to play games with my friends

on the playground. I love the beautiful schoolyard.

I have a good friend, and her name is Li Hua. We have become friends for

about two years. She is very kind. When I step into the classroom for the first

I was wondering what was in such a nice package until I carefully opened it and found that you sent me an attractive present for my birthday. Yesterday evening my colleagues held a birthday party for me, including John Liu---I think you can remember---a nice tall boy, who invited you and I to his birthday last October. Study English,You do need to use English with speakers who are not teachers

of English. This isnt easy, since everyone feels constrained speaking English

with friends with whom it would be natural to use a shared mother tongue.

Joining an English Club is a good idea and joining a club with an international

membership (where English is in use at least some of the time) is, for many

people, even better. If nothing like this is accessible, you might consider what

would be involved in getting something going.
