九月九日天明时，以片糕搭儿女头额，口中念念有词，祝愿子女百事俱高，乃古人九月作糕的本意。讲究的重阳糕要作成九层，像座宝塔，上面还作成两只小羊，以符合重阳(羊)之义。有的还在重阳糕上插一小红纸旗，并点蜡烛灯。这大概是用“点灯”、“吃糕”代替“登高”的意思，用小红纸旗代替茱萸。当今的重阳糕，仍无固定品种，各地在敬老节吃的松软糕类都称之为重阳糕。

赏菊并饮菊花酒：敬老节正是一年的金秋时节，菊花盛开，据传赏菊及饮菊花酒，起源于晋朝大诗人陶渊明。陶渊明以隐居出名，以诗出名，以酒出名，也以爱菊出名;后人效之，遂有重阳赏菊之俗。旧时文人士大夫，还将赏菊与宴饮结合，以求和陶渊明更接近。北宋京师开封，重阳赏菊之风盛行，当时的菊花就有很多品种，千姿百态。民间还把农历九月称为“菊月”，在菊花傲霜怒放的敬老节里，观赏菊花成了节日的一项重要内容。清代以后，赏菊之习尤为昌盛，且不限于九月九日，但仍然是敬老节前后最为繁盛。

插茱萸和簪菊花：敬老节插茱萸的风俗，在唐代就已经很普遍。古人认为在敬老节这一天插茱萸可以避难消灾;或佩带于臂，或作香袋把茱萸放在里面佩带，还有插在头上的。大多是妇女、儿童佩带，有些地方，男子也佩带。敬老节佩茱萸，在晋代葛洪《西经杂记》中就有记载。除了佩带茱萸，人们也有头戴菊花的。唐代就已经如此，历代盛行。清代，北京敬老节的习俗是把菊花枝叶贴在门窗上，“解除凶秽，以招吉祥”。这是头上簪菊的变俗。宋代，还有将彩缯剪成茱萸、菊花来相赠佩带的。

喝重阳酒：“重阳酒”即用优质糯米酿成的甜酒，于敬老节装进小陶瓷坛子密封保存。可能是因为温度和湿度比较适宜，所以酿出的酒特别醇，是米酒中的上品，甜纯美，男女老少皆宜，起源于西北少数民族。

“重阳酒”即“菊花酒”。每年敬老节时，最早的菊花花骨朵已长成，欲开花时，这就是制作“重阳酒”的上好的材料!

我的周末（my weekend）

大家好，让我来给大家介绍下我是如何度过周末的吧。

I am going to do many things and be very busy on the weekend. So I do my homework on Saturday morning.

周末我得做好多事，所以我的周末就显得尤为忙碌，所以我一般都在周六上午就把作业都做完。

In the afternoon， I am going to do housework with my mother. Because I am a good girl， I am helpful at home. On Sunday morning， I am going to visit my grandparents with my parents. In the afternoon， we are going to the park together. Because there is a kite show. And my grandparents likes making kites.

到了下午，我跟我妈妈一起做家务，因为我是个好孩子，我也想给家里做点自己该做的事；周日早上，我跟父母去见外公外婆。下午，我们一起去公园，因为那有一场风筝展览会，并且我外公外婆也非常喜欢做风筝。

I think， we can see many beautiful kites there. And we are going to buy some beautiful kites, too.

我想，我们可以在那看到很多漂亮的风筝，同时也可以买一些好看的风筝。

Then， we are going to fly the new kites， that’s fun. In the evening， we are going to have a big dinner. We are going to have fish for dinner. Because my grandparents likes eating fish. And my grandma cooks fish well. After dinner， we are going to watch TV together. We are going to be very happy.

最后，我们一起去放风筝，相当给力！晚上，我们去吃大餐。由于外公外婆喜欢吃鱼，所以我们晚餐吃鱼。我外婆做的鱼非常香。晚饭后，我们一起看电视。我想我们会非常愉快。
