这就是我今天最开心的一件事，本来我们是准备去旅游的，后来转了去烧烤，但又因情况不太合适，没去，只好在家里吃蛋糕庆祝生日。在家庆祝生日也不错的，很开心、很快乐、很幸福……感谢你们给了我一个这么快乐的生日会。

A book exhibition

Dropped in at National Library to see the National Book Exhibition which will close today. Suprised at the fact that so many kinds of books are published in our country. Thought the childrens books with many pages of colorful illustrations were made very nicely. Bought a copy of the Chinese version of English and American Short Stories at a 20 per cent discount. Am going to read this through in this good season for reading.

信步走到图书馆看即将在今天结束的全国书籍。惊奇的是发现我们国家竟然出版了这么多种的书籍。我觉得富有多页彩色插图的儿童书籍印刷的相当精美。我买了一本打八折的《英美短篇小说》中文版。我要在这读书的好季节里将它读完。

Im so happy today because I got RMB 3,000 in "Lucky Money. "Grandpa alone gave me RMB 1,000. I must try to save this for college though and not waste it. But I think Ill allow myself to use part of it to buy a new dress tomorrow and then Ill put the rest un the bank.

今天我很高兴，因为我拿了三千元的红包。 祖父一个人就给了我一千元。 我必须尽量存起来以后作上大学之用而不去花掉。 不过我想我会让自己明天用一部分钱去买一件新衣服，然后将其他的钱存到银行里去。

哦，又到了星期三。我呀，最讨厌这一天。因为每到星期三，就是上那个令人讨厌的社团课——“快乐英语”课了。唉，还说是“快乐”英语呢，我每次上这课都不快乐！

你瞧，时间像飞箭，转眼又到星期三了。到了下午第三节课，我又要进这个让人一点也感不到快乐的社团了。“好，今天我们来听写《补充习题》的Unit1、”英语社团的沙老师在讲台上对我们说。听写，听写，还是听写，每次的“快乐英语”课都是这样千篇一律的程序，这让本来热爱英语的我现在却成了“英语厌”了！

我看了看窗外，天空，阳光，绿树，红花，多好的景色呀，可我心里却因这星期三、因这“快乐英语”而变得那么沮丧。轻风掠过我心爱的香樟树，香樟树叶“沙沙”作响，似乎在嘲笑沮丧的我。唉，“高尚”的大人们呀，你们总喜欢给我们报许多兴趣班，有些孩子才上幼儿园呢，就要在五六个兴趣班之间“赶场”了，这有兴趣吗？兴趣，本是学习的动力。孩子们只有真正有了兴趣，才会热爱学习。可不少大人们常常忽略我们对真正兴趣的体验，只是一味地让我们进那些以“兴趣”为旗号实质是为了钞票的培训机构办的“兴趣班”，学习他们认为有用的知识。

大人们，请你们好好想想自己的作为，让我们多多接触大自然，享受一下童年的兴趣吧！

English is more important now. But it is difficult for many students to study it. Now I make some suggestion, maybe can help you. First, you should take notes and take them here and there. When you’re free, you can take them out and read it. Next, you should read English loudly. Many students know many grammars, but talking with others is hard. So reading is very important. It can make progress in your talking and listening, and it can also make you get excited, let you have a nice day. Then, talk with people in English; it’s interesting and very used. Finally, most importantly, try your best to learn English. No pains, no gains. I hope you can improve your English. Good luck!
