书中还重点描写的就是汉奸，在老舍的笔下他们的行为不禁让人咬牙切齿，而对于他们的死又让人觉得无法痛快。比如冠晓荷，一直为日本人做事，甚至还被日本人称为良民，最终却被日本人活埋。比如大赤包，一直相信日本人，甚至被关在监狱中还幻想能够出去，然而最后却惨死在狱中。这些人的悲惨命运都让我们明白了日寇的残忍，在他们那血淋淋的屠刀下，犯下了无数的滔天罪行，那一幕幕血腥的场景，让我们无法忘却。

哎呀，一个多小时的讲座就这么快结束了，掌声回荡在大教室里……

The weather was cloudy but dry and as we were both a bit out of condition after a long winter lay off we took the easy option of taking the train to Shiyan to get us on top of the ridge with an easy start for the trip.

A long coast down to Jiangtan and straight on to Mount End saw us climbing up to Zhongshan Park. The climb got stiffer but still Tom kept on riding. Gritting my teeth I followed on and crested the hill, Then the usual Essex switchback with an enforced short walk for both of us part way along saw us at Tawny common. Round the common we went, to the Mole Trap, an erstwhile rough old country pub now tarted up for the motorists. I don’t go in there any more, so we sat on the adjacent public seat for a while and a short natter.

Time enough to break away, Tom to his lunch appointment, me for home by way of theYellow Crane Tower and Changjiang Bridge. See you in a while, crocodile! I arrived home about 2 o’clock. Just in time for my own Sunday lunch .

Some people may think that one who wants to achieve great success shouldnt pay much attention to details，but those who desire to do something big at once will constantly be haunted by disappointment, frustration or even failures，as when something big " shows up，they can hardly seize the opportunity because of the lack of ability to deal with small things. Keeping an eye on details may help us in many ways. I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. When I first began to read the book, I did not care for Marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as I got further into the narrative, I realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was. She felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle Armand Duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him. It must have taken great courage for Marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.

However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. I think Dumass last few lines about Marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and I also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case. A person can make the wrong choices in life when they are young, and try to redeem themselves, but sometimes past situations prevent them from changing their lives, even though they desperately wish to do so. This applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. And this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.

As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to “wake up and smell the coffee” and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. If he truly cared, he could have helped her leave her lifestyle without “keeping” her himself. And lastly, Prudence was a blood-sucking leech who used Marguerite almost worse than the men. I also think she was jealous of the fact that Marguerite had so much more courage than herself and someone truly loved her.

马钝听后大吃一惊，心想难道他真是一个神仙，不然他怎么会知道我的姓名?“你已遇老仙，那就不用抽签卜算自己的命运了，请你跟我来吧!”马钝跟着那自称仙人的洪先生走了，他俩来到了一个僻静的地方，洪“仙人”对他说：“这就是我的家。”二人走进了屋子，只见那“仙人”用纸包了十几块黑炭给他，对马钝说：“你把这个黑炭用火点燃，就会烧出纹银来的。”马钝一听，马上回到住处用火烧了起来，没想到，居然真的烧出了十几锭纹银。

从这个故事里，我既看出了马钝的无知，又看出了洪“仙人”的愚蠢。马钝枉为一个名士，如此笨拙的一个骗局，他居然信以为真，令人可笑。而洪“仙人”的装神扮仙，却是为了度一个虚名而去不惜损失自已的金钱，更是让人啼笑皆非。看了这则故事，想想身边时有所闻和时有所见的人和事，比如那些成群结队地到处看相算命，烧香拜佛，他们的举动和马钝的无知有什么两样呢?有多少个又象洪“仙人”这样的人，比如很多中考和高考的学生，由于成绩不好，考分不上线，为了能被学校录取，不惜用钱去买名校，这样的做法与洪“仙人”的愚蠢又有什么不同呢?
