There are four seasons in a year.They are spring,summer,autumn and

winter.Every season has three months and each month has about thirty days.

The first season is spring.In spring time we have warm weather and sunny

The second season we call summer.In summer the weather is very hot and it

Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concern,

we find that some people hold the idea of living in the country, while others

prefer living in the city. In my opinion, I prefer the city life, though it has

advantages and disadvantages.

First of all, city life is very colorful. City is the center of the

surrounding area. So, it is also the most booming place having the best things.

There are many great things and wonderful activities in the city, while there

isn’t in the country. For example, there are KFC, wonderful shopping mall,

delicious food from various places, dancing club, different kinds of activities

and so on. We can also learn the culture from all the countries. Despite city

life is so wonderful, it still has many disadvantages. Nowadays, with the

improvement of people’s living standard, people have more cars and more people

come to city, and then the city becomes more and more crowd. As a result,

traffic jam emerges, which makes great inconvenience for people to go out.

What’s worse, the air pollution becomes serious day by day, which is bad for

people’s health.

To sum up, every coin has two sides. Living in the city also has good side

and bad aspect. Whether like living in city or not depends on individual

thinking. As myself, I like living in city though I know the disadvantage of

living in city.

I was born in the country, my family lived there before I was 6 years old.

Then my parents moved to the city for their work, I had to stay away from my

hometown. Though living in the city brings me a lot of convenience, I eat the

good food, I still miss country life all the time. I love to live in the

country.

Living in the country, the time seems to be very slow. I woke up early in

the morning and then took the walk. After eating the breakfast, it was about 8

o’clock. I went out to play with my friends or went to help my grandparents with

their work. After doing these, it was just 11 o’clock. But in the city, I woke

up at 9 o’clock, and then I ate the breakfast, the rest of the day was to play

computer. How time flies to me.

I get so close to the nature and I find so much fun in the country life. I

always want to live in my hometown. When I have the time, I will go back there

and enjoy the moment.

In recent years, the forests have been getting smaller and smaller for more

and more people cut down trees for money. As trees grow naturally, people dont

need to invest anything on them. But cutting down trees has destroyed our

nature. We have already seen the bad consequence. For example, we always suffer

from the flood and drought disaster; many animals are facing the danger of dying

out, because their habitats have been destroyed; deserts are expanding, and

sandstorms are emerging. Our environment has been changed from bad to worse due

to the reduction of forests. Thus, the government should appeal people that

cutting down trees breaks the balance of our nature. Those who continue to cut

down trees should be punished severely.

A good book not only brings happiness to people, but also comforts; it can

not only make you think deeply, but also enlighten you. A good book is a wise

man, a mentor, a friend, and a partner. My favorite thing is reading.

books also bring me much joy. I remember one time, my mother bought me

"Insects", the book records many insects and their habits. I couldnt put it

down, and when I got home, I picked up the book and read it with interest. When

I read the firefly insect, a beautiful scene immediately appeared in my mind: On

a summer night, I was walking in the park, and at this time, many fireflies were

flying around me. Illuminate the way forward... The more I think about it, the

more excited I am, and I read it more seriously. When I read about ants, an

insect, I couldnt help but be shocked by its unity. Together, ants can move

My mother is an English teacher and she likes listening to English radio

and reading English newspaper. She always gets up early in the morning. She

washes her face and has breakfast, then she hurriedly goes to school. She does

morning exercises with her students. Next, she has one or two English lessons.

In the afternoon, she helps some students with their English. Finally, she goes

home at five o’clock. She marks the student’s homework at home and she always.

Today, the young generation likes to stay up, because after a day’s working, they will find fun at night, so they are getting home very late and then wake up late, too. As they are wake up so late, they will ignore their breakfast and wait for the lunch, today people will call the meal brunch, it means to eat things between breakfast and lunch time. The fact is that not eating breakfast is bad for our health, our body hasn’t take in things all the night, we need to take in some nutrition in the morning time, so the body can have the energy to work. Thinking about this, how a machine can work well without electricity, and the breakfast is the electricity. Today is National day,but I don’t feel any happy at all,just no reson.Last

night I download the English Paper till 3AM ,sometime I want to give up.but in

order to accomplish my dream.I can handle it.

This afternoon I go to shiqi to visit a respectful teacher.On the way to

shiqi,the street don’t crowd .I think it would be full of crowd of people in

Festival.perhaps personal travel is encouraged at present.

The people I respect the most is my father. He is a doctor. He always busy

the students develop not only the ability to learn by themselves but the skills

Usually, they walk on a crowdy street, and pretend to faint or just lay down on the ground, intend to accuse the one who comes to help as a perpetrator and blackmail him/her for the treatment fee. Many people have fell for that and had to pay as there is no witness to prove their innocence. As for these negative news, people is afraid to help those old people in need, that makes some of them who are in real trouble could not get help in time. I once asked one of my friends: “Why the old people turn bad? If you see one in the street, would you help?” He said: “It is not the old people turn bad, it is the bad people turn old. I will video him/her to make a statement first, then decide if I would help.”
