读书亦如品咖啡，细品者品出的是香浓，囫囵吞枣者品出的只是一份苦淡。看古人读书，摇头晃脑，一副享受之样;再看今人读书，一副厌恶样，有口无心。

其实，读书是苦与乐的交响曲，有苦必有甜。

囫囵吞枣者说：“读书时艰苦的，是乏味的。它束缚乐我们的自由，使人感到吃力……”

细品者说：“读书时快乐的，它让你取得好成绩，面对父母的笑脸，外人的夸奖，同学们羡慕的目光，心里像吃了蜜一样甜。它更会使你开阔视野，了解更多的知识……”

我说：“读书是苦与乐的交响曲!首先说苦：放弃了那美好的童年生活，整日趴在书上，视力急剧下降。其次是乐：曾经有这么一句话：‘一切快乐来源于艰苦的劳动’。艰苦的背后总是快乐，整日趴在书上，自然有好处。一，读书使人明智;二，读书使我们明白做人的道理;三，因为书是人类进步的阶梯，所以我们需要它……”总而言之，读书的好处是说不完的。

然而当今社会，竟有许多人弯曲了对读书的栓释。本是一份享受，一份快乐，却逐渐演变成对父母，对老师的不解，怨恨。而我却认为：“我读书，我快乐!”

高尔基说：“书是人类进步的阶梯。”那就让我们一起去品味那份香浓吧!去做一个快乐的读书人!

麦琪是个聪明的人，聪明绝顶的人，由于他是聪明的人，毫无疑问，他的礼物也是聪明的。

一块八毛七分，全在这儿了。圣诞节是最重要的日子之一，我们文中的两个笨小孩却什么也拿不出来。一块八毛七分--似乎故事到这儿就该结束了，毕竟这点钱能做什么呢?可一场戏剧的结束，往往会是另一场戏剧的开始。

于是，吉姆卖掉了他的金表为德拉买了一套纯玳瑁，镶有珠宝的梳子，而德拉卖掉自己引以为傲的长发，为吉姆的金表配一条白金表链。

可是在失去价值的背后我却看到了他们是无限爱着对方，爱着这个家的，让我觉得，这个寒冷的平安夜因为他们的礼物变成了温暖的天堂。如果德拉只拿着一块八毛七分去挑礼物的话，想必故事就少那种震撼力，读者也就少了许多思考。

在这个物欲横流的社会里，人们往往会用金钱去衡量礼物，当你看到那些大包大包精致包装的礼品时，见到的除了空虚还有什么?父母因在生日收到我们简易的贺卡而开心，因寥寥数语的祝福而欣慰。就是这样的礼物，简单而真实，比不上那些许多金钱所堆砌，华丽所勾勒出的礼品，却是天下最聪明的礼物!但从某种意义上说，它是无价之宝。

因为，它是麦琪的礼物。

People often say that gold and silver are the most valuable things in the

world.But

I dont think so. In my opinion, to read books is more valuable than

anything else.

The old saying “To open a book is always helpful” clearly tells us how good

it is to read a book.

Books are our friends. They introduce us different kinds of knowledge. They

lead us down the road to success.

Books are our teachers. They teach us troth, science, literature, and

philosophy of life. Besides, they increase our knowledge, enlarge our

experience,strengthen our character and do many other things which we can not do

without them.

Books tell us what is good and what is evil. And only books can tell the

good from the bad.

Therefore to read more books is the best policy for our young students.

The ancients cloud: "reading to learn." Reading another benefit, is the people to cultivate noble moral character, know the book of rites.

The bacon once said: "books are in the waves of sailing ship to the thought of The Times, it takes careful gave precious goods to generation after generation." The ancient tradition of famous people, such as respect, cherish the time, fools, etc., were later recorded in the book, the nature, read it, understand the truth, can be used, will become a moral person.

我记得第一次听到《麦琪的礼物》这本书名字的时候是在我上初三的时候，那时是快要中考了，我拿着那本书几个月的时间就看完了，这本小说到现在对我来说印象最深刻的一段话是：“我想对那些聪明的人说，其实这两个傻孩子是聪明的，他们把自己最珍贵的礼物送给了对方，在一切的赠与和接受礼物的人当中，他们才是最聪明的。无论在任何地方，他们都是最智慧的。他们就是圣贤，他们就是麦琪。”这种美看似不够完整，失去了一部分，但他们却得到了完整的心和爱。这种爱是那些虽身处豪宅却无真爱的夫妻永远体会不到拥有不了的。所以说，这种美更动人，更具有吸引力。

爱的真谛是给予。瓦西列夫在《情爱论》中表明了这样一个观点：“爱的最高境界就是以对方的幸福为最高滴幸福。”再小说中，女主人公德拉多次垂泣抽噎，她并不是因为生活的拮据，而是圣诞节快到了，不知要跟父亲买什么样的礼物。

故事开头“一元八角七”强调了钱的数量少，“六角是一分一分的铜板”再次用精确的数字印证使读者体会到这个家庭生活的拮据。

After reading "A tale of two cities" "A tale of two cities" is one of Dickenss most important representative works.The novel profoundly exposed the society contradiction before the French Revolution,intensely attacks the aristocratic social clais dissolute and cruel,and sincerely sympathizes with the depressed classes.The novel also described many magnificent scenes like the revolt people attacked Bastille and so on,which displayed peoples great strength.

The novel has portrayed many different people. In recent year, as people’s living quality increase, most families are tending to send their children to study abroad. This phenomenon has caused most people’s attention. Some argue that we should send children to foreign country to study because they think that other countries’ education is better than our traditional Chinese education. Some don’t think so because they believe that students should learn our traditional culture instead of going abroad. In my opinion, I think students should be sent to foreign country to receive sophisticated education. Reasons are listed as the following.

Firstly, Students can learn more through foreign country’s education. As we all know, most students study just for entering into a better university in our country. All they learn is how to pass exams and get high scores in school. On the contrary, the Western education pays attention to students’ practical ability which would be a more efficient way to learn rather than getting knowledge from books. To get more experience, students should be sent to abroad to study.

Secondly, students would be more independent after study abroad. When students are sent to abroad, they must take care of themselves in all aspects, gradually, they would learn how to deal with things they confronted rather than turning to their parents as they may do in their own country.

All in all, students should be sent to abroad to study so that they can attain more knowledge and also become more independently.

最近几年，随着人们生活质量的提高，许多的家庭都选择把孩子送到国外读书。这种现象引起了很多人的关注。一些人认为我们送孩子到国外读书可以让孩子受到比 中国传统教育更好的教育。一些人却不这样认为，他们觉得孩子应该在国内多学习中国的文化，而不是到国外接受教育。就我来说，我认为学生应该被送到国外接受 先进的教育。原因如下：

首先，国外的教育能让学生学到更多的知识。众所周知，国内的大部分学生学习的目的都是为了能够进入一所稍微好点儿的大学。他们在学校学到的东西主要是为了 通过考试和获得高分。相反地，西方教育更注重锻炼学生的实际能力，这样一来，学生从实践中学到的知识比从书本上得到的知识更多。为了能得到更多的实践经 验，学生应该到国外读书。

其次，在国外学习过的学生会更加独立。学生在国外读书的时候，他们必须自己照顾自己，所有的事情都必须自己处理。因此，在国外他们要学会自己处理遇到的问题而不像在国内一样向父母求助。

总之，送学生到国外读书不仅能学到更多的知识，而且学生也会变得更加独立。

有一次学校组织课外知识竞赛。有一道题是这样的：树袋熊为什么浑身是香的?三个选择：A与生俱来的，B生活在清香中，C它吃了一种香的树叶，时间长了就香了。这道题我在哪见过，哦，想起来了，就是前天阅读的一篇科学论文。里面提到的，说是树袋熊爱吃桉树叶，这种树叶里有一种成分，吃多了时间长了就香了。我选了C。过了几天，试卷发下了一看，果然是C。还有好多题，我都见过，才把它们做对的。

还有一次，上作文课。老师要我们写关于劝学的文章。我就引用了一些名言、古诗。好多人都没有想到，可是我想到了。作文点评时，老师把这篇文章读给大家听，让大家学习，还表扬我爱读书呢。这些都是我平时多阅读多积累的效果。

我终于明白了，阅读能让我们多补充课外知识，写出好的文章。当然最重要的是阅读让生活变得更精彩。所以说阅读好处多多。
