My name is Beth. Im 14 years old, and I study in No. 1 Middle School of

Hangzhou. My school is very big and beautiful. Im very happy in the school.

I usually get up at 6:15 in the morning. Then I do morning exercises in the

初一的课程可真不少啊，有语文、数学、英语、政治等，作业也多了，难度也大了。同学们感到背上了沉重的负担。我认为我们正处在长身体，学知识的阶段，应像那勤劳的蜜蜂一样，不断采取知识宝库中的甜蜜的蜂蜜。在初一，虽然学习很紧张，但也有课外活动和娱乐时间，我们班是一个爱好体育活动的班集体，经常进行运动会比赛，如跑步、拔河、跳高、跳远等。

我的初一生活，日日不同，五彩缤纷，趣味无限，我喜欢我的初一生活。

“酸”中让我体会最深的一件事是——吃醋。我这个人从小就不爱吃别人的醋，但上初一后，喝的醋可真够酸的：有一次，我们4姐妹因一点小事，而闹的不可开交，我被“分”的了“苗派”，在路上偶尔碰见面，却和陌生人一样，不理不睬的，很是不舒服。依我看来，王玮玥和段晓瑞的性格一个是急性子，而另一个是慢性子，他们两个怎能玩一块呢?所以我觉得王玮玥和段晓瑞在我们面前玩的特别特别的好，想让我们吃醋。而我们也跟着他们比着葫芦画瓢。那时候，我们一见面显得特别尴尬，那时候我们四个总是在背后比拼，内容就是——学习成绩。所以那时我和苗鑫都在很努力的学习，但又不知道什么时候，我们的关系渐渐挨近，直到最后——和好。有时我会觉得我们四个很幼稚，一点点小事都会吵得不可开交。

“甜”中的事情是，总是盼望着，盼望着，能教到许多的新朋友，可以在一起谈天说地，但是我在初一里交的好朋友只有两人，真是少得可怜。所以我正在努力的交着朋友，遇到同班同学，总是要主动打招呼，还要面带微笑，这是我交朋友的秘诀，在这期间，有时我在跟别人打招呼时，她们有时也会没有注意到，所以让我尴尬至极，但是这样可以交到好多的朋友，想一想，也是很快乐的。

“苦”我多的都数不尽。有一次，英语老师有时出去，所以把收英语本的任务和批英语家庭作业的任务全都给了我。当时一听，小菜一碟，可事实并不是这样的，班里有许多难玩得同学，要跟在__后面要，好像跟__虫。整整一天都没有休息，看着同学们一个个背着书包回家去，我也着急起来，气也随之起来。我急的开始踱脚，看着还有那么多的人没有交，眼泪在眼眶打转，真想扔下本子走人，当时心里冒出委屈的.感觉。可既然答应老师，就说话算话，忍忍吧。

over the last century. Old buildings are relaced by skyscrapers. Telephone,

air-conditioner, TV, digital camera, computer and the Internet have taken their

place in our life. We have stepped into Information Age. We are always enjoying

well as the symbol of the whole nationalitys historical culture. As for

traditional food, people are still used to eating it. Even though the world has

been extremely highly developed and there are many foreign cultures are pouring

into China, traditional food is still the mainstream. So, I think, although

those hi-tech products bring along unprecedented creature comfort, traditional

cultures will stay unchanged and they will develop further. And on the original

basis, it must creat miracles one after another, because it belongs to the souls

My father is busy all the time, he promises me that once he has the time,

he will bring me to the zoo. This week, he finally keeps his promise. I am so

happy, I see many animals, the monkeys impress me so much. They are so active

and they climb everywhere. My father and I have the good time in the zoo. I also

老子云：任何事物都有两面性，并能够相互转换。实在台风也是一样有两面性的。尽人皆知，戈壁是灭亡之海，那边气候酷热，降雨 量极少，且少有绿洲。如果人们能把台风移到那儿，那么，灭亡之海也将充满无穷朝气，最后也会沙地绿化。

My schoool life is busy and fantastic.

过年这几天，我们这儿的刘山公园总是着火。原因大概都是因为放炮不小心把山点了，再加上天气干燥，简直就是“火上浇油”。有一次，我就亲眼目睹了火灾的起因，过程，以及结果。

“爸爸，我这几天没事，你就带我去刘山公园玩吧!”我摇着爸爸的胳膊撒娇着说。“好好好，反正我下午也没事，就带你出去跑跑吧!”“太好了。”于是我们就来到了舞钢的刘山公园里。

我们开始费力的往上爬，在半路上遇到了我的好朋友。于是我们齐头并进，倒没费多少力，大概是因为有人陪着吧。过了不大一会儿，我们就到达了目的地“山顶”。我们在山顶休息了一段时间时，一场激动人心的“人火大战”开始了。

火势从东北方蔓延开来，朝着山顶，迅速蔓延成一个大火圈。人们纷纷拨打火警“119”，那天风很大，火越来越大。人们开始惊慌起来，有些人已经开始用树枝扑打火，有些人火深火热的使劲拨打119。可是这火警却迟迟没有赶到。毕竟那是山顶嘛!我也想去帮着灭火，可是爸爸一把拉住我说：“大人的事，小孩别去，万一被烫伤了怎么办?”想想也是啊，于是我只好静观其变。后来，火终于被扑灭了，大家心里都长长舒了一口气。在这过程中，有一位老人他用树枝扑灭了一小段火，已经算是“奇功”了。他隐藏在树林之中，我们都感觉不到他的行踪，只是隐隐约约看见了一个人。其实说句老实话，消防队几乎没有扑火，都是人们一点一点用树枝扑的。后来我才知道原来是两个小孩在山上放炮从而导致着火。真是太不安全了。

有些放炮的小孩不讲文明，把炮专门朝着人群中扔。弄的老人们心惊胆颤，不得安宁。有的还可恨，专门朝着卖衣服的地方扔，(过年时，衣服促销，都搬到街上了)。还是在空地放炮好啊!放炮要小心。

“宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来。”猛虎成长，需要迎接弱肉强食的森林法则；雄鹰翱翔，需要迎接万丈深渊的生死抉择；骆驼漫步黄沙，需要迎接黄沙大漠的饥渴锤炼……卓越需要迎接磨难。

我握笔的手心沾满了汗水，一旁参赛者行云流水，而我僵硬的手，却始终放不下去……

这是我第一次参加书法比赛，却思绪飘飞，茫然不知所措，一点墨滴跌落在宣纸上，溅起星星点点墨痕，我赶忙下笔，想去挽救，墨滴被盖住了，可纸上却摆满了病树枯藤，我的心异常沉重。

此刻，我笔走龙蛇，洋洋洒洒，一气呵成，我的作品出炉了，纵观：横平竖直，撇果断似箭，捺形如刀锋。虽不能与书法大家相比，却也刚健有力。这一次比赛我没有再错过，凭借一幅“自强不息”荣获一等奖。我拿着奖状站在颁奖台上，因为获奖，也因为它是我迎接挫折的象征。我笑得灿烂，阳光总在风雨后！

自此，我开始领会到“迎接”的意义，它是湍急河流上的一座桥，桥上而或大雨倾盆，而或寒风凛冽，而或电闪雷鸣，可温暖的阳光始终撒在桥的尽头。

The Laba Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the eighth day of the twelfth month of the lunar Chinese calendar. "La" is the name given to the 12th lunar month and 8 is pronounced as "ba" in Chinese, which translated is "Laba." There are several legends about the origin of this festivity and we could not tell which one is true. But what we know today is that this festival started as a sacrificial offering to ancestors. 五年级的一个冬天，我刚刚起床，看见玻璃被薄冰封住了，前几天刚下过雪，我擦擦玻璃往窗外看，看见路面都结了冰，光秃秃的树干在寒风中摇曳，好像不在寒风中低头，对面楼的房檐上挂着几根透明的冰凌，如水晶一般，又摇摇欲坠。

用过早餐后，由于路面太滑，所以我自己步行去上学，刚走出大门，一股寒气扑面而来，呼啸的西北风刮在脸上，刺骨地疼。我小心翼翼地走，我走到一个路口，这个路口非常滑。忽然，“啪嗒”一声，一个穿着厚重的羽绒服的小胖男孩，重重地摔了一个跤。她用手掌撑着地面，刚挺起身子，另一边又有一辆自行车摔得人仰马翻。

“这路面可真害人呀!”

人群里有人嘀咕着。“这样下去，准会伤人的!”一位包着头巾的老奶奶简直不敢走路了。那个小胖子也骂起了这可恨的路面。我也害怕摔跤，像过独木桥一样慢慢地挪动脚步。突然，一位老伯伯走过来，脱下了棉大衣，两只手放在嘴前呵了几口气，然后使劲搓了几下，热了下身，拿起一把大铁铲，使劲地铲起冰来，把铲下的冰倒进垃圾桶里。“老大爷，您累了，让我来帮您铲。”一位高个子叔叔一把夺过铲子，一下又一下地铲起来，铁桥发挥着它的威力，干净的路面在不断地扩展着，扩展着……

我大胆地迈开脚，一步一步的菜在干净的路面上，顿时觉得步伐矫健。这虽然是一个小镜头，但它却表现了那位老伯伯的高贵品质。
