星期五下午，刚回到家。一辆崭新的自行车就呈现在我的眼前。它有蓝色的车驱，欧宝的牌子……我忙跑上楼问妈妈：“下面那辆自行车是谁的?”妈妈说：“是为你新买的呀!你看小区比你小的孩子都会骑自行车了，就你不会，你也赶快学学!”我兴奋极了，飞快的跑下楼，去试骑。可自行车没有那么好骑，我骑一下摔一跤。我很灰心，吃晚饭的时间到了我才上楼。这时的我已经摔的遍体鳞伤，像打了败战的士兵。妈妈给我抹上碘酒。我垂头丧气的对妈妈说：“我以后再也不想骑自行车了!”妈妈笑眯眯地说：“傻孩子，这点失败算什么，只要坚持，困难就可以克服，骑自行车就持!”

第二天，妈妈和我一起去骑自行车，可我总要她扶着我。有一次，我问妈妈扶着没有。妈妈回答：“扶着了!”我一骑，哇!一点也不难骑!接着我回头望妈妈，她竟然没有在我后面，就这样我学会了骑自行车。

就这样我又坚持了大半年，我已经能熟练的骑自行车了，现在我还是小区里鼎鼎有名的高手呢!

通过这件事情，我知道了只要坚持克服困难，什么事情都不难。

大象有影壁似的身体，柱子似的腿，蒲扇似的耳朵、玉石树枝似的大牙，什么都给人一种大得出奇的感觉。

大象的鼻子真是一只万能的手。粗而不笨，灵巧有力，大至几百斤的木头，它能像起重机一样轻轻举起，小到一根针，它也能拣起来。

大象的鼻子能伸能缩，舒展自如、感觉灵敏、动作灵活，摆动起来就好像一条翻腾飞舞的大蟒蛇。

大象不停地扇动着耳朵，鼻子高高地伸向空中，像一门高耸的高射炮的炮筒。

大象为防止苍蝇的叮咬，两只大耳朵总是在不停地扇动，就像扇动两把大芭蕉扇一样。

大象鼻子尖端，有手指般的突起，这是从它的上嘴唇变来的，这部分灵敏得很，甚至可以从地上拾起一分硬币，或者一枚绣花针哩。

象洗完澡后还要进行一番“沙浴”，用鼻子吸起细沙，往身上一个劲儿喷，好像我们洗完澡撒点爽身粉似的，又凉快，又可以防止蚊虫叮咬。

忽然河谷里传来几十头野象的吼叫声，就像几十台机车一齐鸣笛一样，气魄大极了。
