time flew. it was time for us to go back to school now. even though we were tired, we still felt happy. we really had a wonderful day and i will never forget it.

从没见过父亲哭泣，总以为父亲是不会流泪的。直到有一天，年过半百的父亲在爷爷的病床前流下了混浊的泪水，我明白了坚强的父亲也流泪。

爷爷今年87岁，弯弯的脊梁与雪白的胡须是最惹眼的。爷爷身体一直很健康，走路虽然不太灵活，经常摔跤，但是每次摔了跤，总会笑眯眯的对我们说：“又摔跤，没事”，每到这时爷爷会慢慢站起来，走几步给我们看。于是，我们从来没有想过他会因为不经意的摔跤而卧床不起，直至离开人世。

那是去年冬天的一个傍晚，爷爷在转身的时候摔倒在地上，同样像以前一样颤巍巍的站了起来。第二天，爷爷就没有起床。爷爷在天大冷的时候，有时会不起床，大家也没有太在意，服侍他在房中吃饭。爷爷的话很少，我们也问过他有没有异样的感觉，爷爷乐呵呵的说:“我今年冬天摔过好几次了，穿着棉裤、棉袄的，没事，没摔坏，我明天就起床。”这句话爷爷说了一遍又一遍，望着日渐消瘦的爷爷，父亲越来越焦急、紧张，托人到最好的医院请医生来家中为爷爷治疗。爷爷很不高兴，说医生只会骗人，他拒绝吃药，说春天他就会起床。

随着春天的脚步越来越近，爷爷吃饭越来越少，父亲安慰他，给他定期输营养液，爷爷时常任性的跟小孩子一般，往往输到一半，爷爷就不配合了。每到这时，父亲用他温暖的手握着爷爷干枯的手，耐心的跟爷爷讲前些年的生活琐事，爷爷就会跟父亲沉浸在幸福的回忆中。每次输完，父亲会长长的叹一口气，露出舒心的笑容。对父亲来说，那或许是段美好的日子。

世间的许多事情都是勉强不来的，我们无论如何努力，爷爷还是离开了我们。去世的前几天，爷爷没有力气张嘴，母亲就端着饭，父亲给爷爷慢慢的撬开紧闭的嘴，一滴一滴喂给他最爱喝的小米粥。我可以清楚的看到泪水正爬满父亲的脸，此情此景，我常常感动得泪盈满眶。

爷爷就这样离开了我们，父亲每天下班回家，仍旧习惯性的推开爷爷的房门，向里望一眼，好像在找寻什麽。我想，那是在寻找爷爷存在而已逝去的日子吧。
