rapidly epanding industries which involve more and more comple chemical processes will produce large volumes of liquid wastes. many of thesewitt contain chemicals that are poisonous. to feed our rapidly epanding population, agriculture will have to be intensified.

this will involve ever increasing quantities of agriculture chemicals. from this, it is apparent that drastic steps must be taken immediately to develop corrective measures for the pollution problems.

there are two ways by which these pollution problems can be lessened. the first relates to the treatment of wastes to decrease their pollution hazard. this involves the processing of solid wastes "prior to" disposal and the treatment of liquid wastes to permit the reuse to the water or best reduce pollution upon final disposal.

the second approach is to develop an economic use for all or part of the wastes. farm manure is spread in fields as a nutrient. wastes from sewage disposal plants are used in some areas both for irrigation and for the nutrients contained.

liquid wastes from other processing plants may also be used as a supplemental source of water. only by doing these promptly now can we epect to solve the serious water problems in the future.

I study in the No.1 Primary School. Its one of the best primary schools in my city. There are four buildings in campus.Two of them are teaching buildings. The other two are library and gym. The teaching buildings are huge and the classroom is large and bright. There are plenty of books in the library. I like reading books in the library. After class, students like playing in the gym. 现行的计生政策不公平，城市居民只能生一胎，农村居民第一孩字是女的，能生二胎。可是，生二胎会导致住房问题，人口增多，需要的房子也多，如今科学家证明我国的住房寿命达30年，而西方国家的住房寿命是我国的2倍以上，所以，我国的房子修的快，拆的也快，房子始终不够，因此少数人正面临没有房子住的问题。

如今，我国的耕地也受到了很大的问题，如：1、由于大面积垦林地草地，耕地不断扩大。2、由于大规模造林，使耕地迅速减少。3、由于水土流失，土地沙漠化，人类盲目开发，耕地面积迅速减少。4、由于外国农产品冲击，大批耕地荒芜。就是因为人口增多，才大量的开垦，才大量占用土地，就只这样我们才能有新科技，才会有房子住。所以，我国的耕地面积大大减少。可是，我国大量的土地都被占用，耕地面积就只能不断的减少，耕地减少，种的菜就少了许多，甚至有些人被饿死。生二胎人口增多，就业问题竞争的人也越来越多，如：1、我国人口基数大，需要就业人员多，就业高峰持续时间长。2、就业机制有待完善，人才市场、劳动力市场发育还有待完善，劳动力要素的配置还未达到完全优化。3、就业观念有待更新，缺乏主动择业创业的积极性，“等”“靠”“要”的思想仍然存在，不从自身和现实环境出发，就业期望值过高。所以，我国年青人在就业方面有可能没有工作，就不可以养家糊口。为了自己和他人的未来，请少生、优生。生男生女都一样，都是祖国未来的栋梁。

Pollution has a bad influence on our life. There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years. The most serious problems is the pollution of air, water and soil.

Air pollution is one of the major problems of the modern world. Because some waste gases is coming from factories, cars, power plants put out.The polluted air is harm to people’s health.

The polluted water causes diseases and death. With the development of modern agriculture and industry, more and more waste water is being poured into rivers. It has caused serious pollution. The river is becoming so dirty that no living water pollution is one of the major problems of the modern world.There are nothings can live in it. The river is giving off a terrible smell.

Soil pollution was very serious. The garbage has become an important problem in major cities, ten million tons of garbage every day, a lot of garbage is not incineration and corruption, such as plastic, rubber and so on.

In conclusion, the environmental pollution problem is becoming more and more serious, affecting every aspect of our lives. For our health, we should protect our living environment.

Many years ago, before I moved to the city, I lived in a small town. I was so close to the nature, I could see the mountain and the clear water. I remember the town became especially beautiful after the heavy rain, the air was so fresh and I felt a little cozy, it was like a gift from god in the hot summer. The mountain looked so clear over the heavy rain, it just washed by the rain. The things around me were so green. I love living in the town, I especially like the town when it was washed by the rain. 地球是我们的家，同时也是我们的母亲。地球无偿的供给我们各种资源，而我们却还为了一点蝇头小利，不顾后果的肆意去破坏她。正如《只有一个地球》那篇文章所说的，我们不能再指望破坏了地球移居到别的星球上去，地球如果灭亡了，那么降临到地球上的命运终究也会降临到人类身上。所以我们亡羊补牢，为时不晚，保护我们的地球，爱护环境，我建议大家做到如下几点：

1.珍惜现在的每一口空气，把工厂的数量尽可能的减少，工业废气也会随之减少。可喜的是，我们看到政府已将许多重污染的工厂叫停，限期整改或迁移。我们还知道每家每户用的煤气已改成了天然气，倡导步行少用汽车，这都是保护大气的举措。我们还要多植树造林，森林不仅能呼出新鲜空气，还能净化空气。要制止乱砍伐森林的行为，要少破坏大自然。

2.不要滥用各种资源，如，煤、矿、木、水……如果这些资源被无止境的开采，必定会形成各种资源的枯竭，当人们没有资源时，我们就无法生存了。

3.水是生命的源泉，但是它又实在太少了。虽然表面看起来地球上大面积都被水覆盖，可是能用的却不到十分之一，许多城市严重缺水，所以，我们要节约用水。目前，学校倡导我们在家里的马桶水箱里放一个矿泉水瓶子，不正是节约用水的举措吗?用洗菜、淘米的水浇花，用洗衣服的水冲马桶，不正是为节约用水尽一份力嘛!
