十月一日，也就是大家最喜欢的节日——国庆节。因为要放假七天，当然有许多人在这假期出去旅游。这次我也不例外，我去了我的老家衢州。

来到衢州，首先就去了孔庙，孔庙是全国重点的文物保护单位。我来到孔子像前祭拜，同时也有许多游客来祭拜，孔子是一代圣人，中国的传统文化也深受他的影响。左边是孔府，看见孔府里面有水车和池塘，池塘里有许多鱼。这时我买了包鱼食，我把鱼食撒在水面上只见那些鱼争先恐后个个张开嘴巴，抢着吃鱼食。紧接着我们来到后花园，在那里有一只美丽的孔雀。可惜没看见它开屏，唉，下雨了，我打开雨伞，哇，太漂亮了，孔雀居然在这个时候开屏了，我大声叫起来。那漂亮的尾羽上面好像有许多大眼睛。

后来我又去了忂州博物馆。进入博物馆的大厅，我一眼就看见了一只最大的食草恐龙化石，它叫雷龙。它是那么高大雄伟，加上大厅的气派更是突出了它。之后，我们又看了许多有关古代文化的物品，比如：打战时战斗机上的遗物，还有战士们穿过的衣物等等。

今天，真是让我大开眼见，也是我最开心的一天!

在国庆假期里，最快乐的事就是妈妈带我去动物园游玩。

动物园里的动物可多了，有会喷水的大象，有活泼调皮的猴子，有高贵漂亮的长颈鹿……最凶猛的狮子、老虎和大狗熊是圈养在虎山的，我和妈妈是坐着缆车观看的，坐在缆车里往下看，我刚好看到有一头黄色的大狮子正在张着那血盆大口吼叫，声音大得像打雷，我的心紧张极了，不由得握紧妈妈的手。

在百鸟园里，我见到了好多鸟，不过大部分我都不认识。我们看了鸟艺表演，观看了鹦鹉说话、鸽子识字等节目。最有趣的要数乌鸦拉车子了。一只黑黑的乌鸦拉了一只雪白雪白的鸽子，到了目的地，鸽子却不付钱，乌鸦气呼呼地把车子推翻在地，逗得观众哈哈大笑。

这里好看好玩的可多啦，说也说不完，真让人流连忘返!

Like any other English learner, I met a lot of difficulties in learning English.

First, I found it difficult to understand what I read because most English words have more than one meaning. Besides, I found it difficult to write in idiomatic English or put Chinese into idiomatic English. Finally, I couldnt express in English orally because I had no opportunity to communicate with native English speakers. Although I often read aloud, this didnt prove to be an effective way to improve my spoken English.

But I didnt lose heart in removing these obstacles. I tackled English vocabulary in two ways. First,I tried to understand and memorize the specific meaning of a word that appears in the context. Second, I enlarge my vocabulary by learning the dictionary by heart. To overcome Chinese English, I tried to think in English directly. Although I still had no opportunity to communicate with native speakers, I improved spoken English by listening to the English broadcast and writing English composition. This expedient turned out to be effective.

像任何其他的英语学习者,我在学习英语遇到了很多困难。

今年四月到六月，我参加了20xx年“希望之星”英语风采大赛。这可是全国性的比赛哦！必须要闯过海选、市赛和省赛三关，才能去北京参加中央电视台的总决赛。

参加市赛的早上，我和妈妈坐车到了目的地。当时，太阳特别大，天特别热，而且人山人海。我们到了之后赶紧报到，接着就排队去比赛了。因为我是最后一个，等了好久才轮到我，裁判先让我抽图，准备看图说话，再自我介绍。我觉得自己前两个环节表现得挺好的，最后是回答问题，这个环节有点难，四个题中我只答出两个。紧接着裁判宣布结果，我心想：肯定有我！肯定有我！结果，真的有我！我拿了市赛一等奖，进入了省赛。

省赛的准备过程是非常艰难的，又是背台词，又是准备自我介绍，还有模拟考试。仅仅是看图说话环节，一训练就是一上午……

终于迎来了省赛。我怀着紧张的心情走进赛场，里面很安静，选手们都在努力地背词，我也不甘示弱。自我介绍环节，我们都做得非常好，看图说话环节就比较惨了，得知成绩后，我的心情非常低落，爸爸妈妈安慰我，要我别泄气，要我在下午最后一个环节加油，还特意给我复习了几遍演讲内容，我的心情又明朗起来。下午的比赛开始了，轮到我上场了，我站在台上，信心十足地完成了演讲，最后的分数还不错哦！

我的20xx年“希望之星”英语风采大赛结束了，虽然我没有踏上国赛舞台，但是我虽败犹荣！这个过程中，我见识到了那些高手们的厉害！我一定要好好学习英语！我一定会回来的！明年再战！

国庆期间，爸爸妈妈带我去三坊七巷游玩。那里人山人海，可热闹了。大门上还挂着一个个可爱的小灯笼，上面写着“庆祝国庆”的标语。走进三坊七巷，我看到了许多小店铺和名人的故居。在小路旁，有许多不一样的店铺，有服装店、饮料店、小吃店等各种各样的店铺，热闹极了。

我参观了三坊七巷里的名人故居，有冰心故居、林觉民故居等。最令我印象深刻的是严复故居。严复是我们国家伟大的教育家和翻译家，他翻绎了《天演论》、《名学浅说》等著作。他翻译的作品在当时影响巨大。严复对中华民族前途很担忧，认为教育很重要。严复是第一个把西方各种先进思想引入中国，启蒙并教育中国人的学者。他希望所有孩子都能接受教育，为国家孝力。他办了很多学校，赞赏义务教育，并且自己也作为老师在学校教书育人。严复为什么这么重视教育呢?因为他觉得“少年强则国强”，只有小时候读好书，用知识武装头脑，长大才能为祖国的繁荣富强出一份力，才能抵抗外来者的侵略。

严复的爱国精神深深地感动了我。通过对中国近代史的了解，中国经历了很多硝烟和战争，流了无数英雄的鲜血，我知道了新中国成立是多么地不容易，有那么多人在背后默默地为新中国的成立而奋斗!这次三坊七巷之行让我深深地感受到了国庆节的氛围，让我知道了“国庆”这一天的来之不易。难忘历史，我一定要珍惜今天幸福美好的生活!

放暑假了，妈妈带我去龙江参加英语生日会。

我们到了那里，我看到许许多多的小朋友在看动画片呢。这是，老师来了，给我们唱起来生日歌，我们非常开心。接着老师让我们做一个游戏。老师说：‘’让一个女生，一个男生上去。2人把双手高高举起，然后剩下的同学 手拉手在一起钻山洞，谁被捉住了就要换人。“游戏开始了，我们就都跑了起来。老师说：”STOP。“我被捉住了，我换人了，我后面的杨飞翼也被捉住了。

下面老师给我们发了一顶小帽子，小洋烛灯，还拿来三层的蛋糕，老师让我们手拉手，许一个心愿。开始吃蛋糕了，我们非常兴奋，坐在我旁边的小朋友吃的满脸都是。笑的我们乐开了嘴。
