在扩展的过程中也有些窍门，以下几点可供参考：

1)在整篇文章中，避免只是用一两个句式或重复用同一词语。英语中存在着极为丰富的同义词，准确地使用同义词可以给读者清新的感觉。同时要灵活运用各种句式，如倒装句、强调句、省略句、主从复合句、对比句、分词短语、介词短语等，从而增加文章的可读性。

2)使用不同长度的句子。如果一个意思用一句话写不清楚的话，通过分句和合句或用两句、三句来表达，增强句子的连贯性和表现力。

3)改变句子的开头方式，不要总是以主、谓、宾、状的次序。可以把状语至于句首，或用分词等。

4)学会使用过渡词。

4、检查修改：要检查复核，不要写完了事。

Summer, jingbo is full of vitality. Round the lake decorated with all kinds of small stone, stone is covered by green moss. 我的家乡在东北，那里有一个湖叫“镜泊湖”。

春天，镜泊湖旁的柳树抽出新芽儿了，竹笋也从地里钻出来了。动物们都苏醒了：青蛙爬来爬去，等待夏天的到来;小松鼠跳来跳去，去找吃的去了……

夏天，镜泊湖充满生机。湖的四周镶嵌着各种各样的小石头，石头上还覆盖着嫩绿的青苔。那绿的没有一点儿杂色的草，那悄悄开放着的花朵，给镜泊湖编了个朴素的花环。水是那样清，清的能看见湖底的沙粒。水里还有鱼。可能正是因为有鱼，所以引来了绿毛鸭。一只只鸭子抱着屁股往水里跳，青蛙也在荷叶上叫个不停。

秋天来了，枫树掉叶子了。叶子掉在湖的四周，就像一只只蝴蝶。天气逐渐变冷了。青蛙，乌龟，绿毛鸭都回山洞去了。

终于盼到冬天了!下雪了。一阵风吹来，从地平线上漫来一层轻雾。雾重起来，没有多久就下雪了。过了一会儿，就下起了白花般的雪。先是零零落落，后来逐渐扩大，横飞过来，给大地披上了一层“银装”。天地间一片洁白。

啊!镜泊湖真美!我爱镜泊湖!

when my teacher told me to prepare for this competition i restated, hesitated.everybody in my class knows that. i never learned english in my primary school.i couldn’t speak english one year ago, but now, could i take part in this competition? no, i can’t. is aid to myself? i’m afraid ofmaking mistakes before so many learned professors and before my classmates and teachers.sud- denly!
