高大挺拨的白杨脱掉了翠绿的衣裳，换上了迷人的长袍;枫树脱下了墨绿的外衣，换上了火红的秋装;大地在秋风的催促下，披上了金黄的睡衣……玉米挂上了胡子，像一个老人;高梁举起了火把，照亮秋天的道路;小草低下头来，深情地望着养育它的泥土……

九寨沟的湖是以秀、奇而著称的。湖泊很多，有大有小。别处的湖水多是青绿色的，而那里则是碧蓝色的，就如在浅浅的海边所见到的颜色。大湖多是依傍着青山，于是那郁郁葱葱的青山便与蓝天白云一同倒映在平静的湖面上，难分虚实，我就有张照片，翻过来倒过去竟不知怎么拿才是正的。小湖大多比较浅，清澈见底，湖底色彩斑斓，许多橙红色的小鱼自在的游弋。最值得一提的是，当地泉水由于含有某种矿物质，长年浸漫，形成了众多个大小不一，形状各异，五颜六色的艳丽彩池，而且在不同时间光照下还会变换色彩，令人眼花缭乱，真好似步人人间瑶池。

九寨沟的山是以雄、丽而著称的。那里的山不像黄山那样有奇峰怪石，不像华山那样险峻陡峭。放眼望去，感觉那山既雄健粗犷，也温柔秀丽;既有独树一帜的英姿，也有群山连在一起的融洽。山峦起伏，森林密布，山坡上大多是以针叶树类的松树和杉树为主，四季常青。只有山尖那顶白雪覆盖的“小白帽”随着季节变化，时大时小，给游人增添了许多神秘的联想。
