My mother has no idea that her ninetieth birthday is coming up. She has no notion of the time of day, the day of the week. the season of the year, the year of the century. 爷爷小时候问祖爷爷，天有多大？祖爷爷回答：就你看到的那么大。于是，爷爷认为四周的山便是支撑天的柱子，而天就是扣着村庄的伞盖。从那以后，爷爷就渴望着找到路，爬上山顶，去看看天，但从山脚到山顶嶙峋的怪石阻碍了小小的他。待他十二岁那年，村里人组织起来翻山越岭挖了一条如蛇形的狭窄小路，小路通到了镇上。爷爷第一次牵着马儿驮着十几斤玉米籽卖了5角3分钱，花了整整一天的时间，但爷爷却激动了一个星期。

后来，日本鬼子的铁蹄践踏了华夏大地，十六岁的爷爷和同伴沿着那条弯曲的小路走向远方，走上了抗日救国的道路，把日本人赶走后，从战争中幸存下来的爷爷作文带着荣耀踏上了归途。路依旧没有改变，经历了疯狂的文革之后，忽然有一天，四周的山猛烈颤动，狗四面叫，鸡八处飞，原来是政府在放炮开路，一年半后，三尺多宽的路将深山里的村庄与外面的世界接通了。爷爷说，那是改革开放后的第十五个年头，爷爷牵着马到县探访了他的战友。2003年，群山再次震颤，伴着挖土机的轰隆声，村里的娃子们好奇地围着中午停工的挖土机转来转去。2006年，爷爷笑眯眯地搭着汽车去看望嫁到城里的小姨，回来时感叹了一次又次。爷爷看着那三条路，一条比一条直，一条比一条宽，一条比一条远，我看到他眼中饱含着一种叫做泪水的液体，他闭上眼，嘴角衔着笑说：“真想永远这样看着村里的路通往更远的地方。”

家乡的路越变越好，乡亲们的日子越来越红火，一家接一家地建起了新楼，一人走得比一人更远。我也沿着家乡的这条路，到了镇上读了初中，今天我已坐在县高中明亮的教室；明年，我即将站到了高考的门槛，我相信，我会沿着家乡的路把自己的人生演绎得更加美丽、更加精采。
