There are many fish in the rivers. There are many bridges over the rivers. There are many big trees on the river banks. And there is grass and flowers on it. The grass is green. The flowers are colourful and beautiful. There is a lake in the village. There are many ducks in the lake. The sky is blue. The rivers flow. The air is fresh and clean. My village is very beautiful!I like it very much!

In my hometown, the air is polluted seriously. However, in recent years,

the pollution gets from bad to worse, because of the increasing number of

private cars. Especially during the rush hours, too many private vehicles move

slowly on narrow roads, emitting a large amount of waste gas. Moreover, the

poisonous gas sent by the nearby factories is also one of the main causes of

pollution. Therefore, it’s demanded that immediate and effective measures must

be taken to restrict private cars and public transportation must be developed to

the largest extent. Besides, we should use renewable and clean energy

recourses.

我的家乡马鞍山是一座美丽的小城，它位于长江下游南岸，是安徽省的东大门。马鞍山历史悠久，因楚汉战争时，楚霸王项羽战败后自刎，乌雅马思念主人，马鞍落地化为一座山而得名。这里山美，水美，人更美。

九山之中，最美的要数翠螺山了。远远望去，它就像一枚青螺，伫立在长江之中，正如唐诗“遥望洞庭山水色，白银盘里一青螺”中描写的一模一样。最奇妙的还是下雨天，山上一片雾蒙蒙的，仿佛置身于仙境一样。夏天，翠螺山像一位仙女，用她的衣袖拂去路人的炎热与烦躁。翠螺山上还有许多著名的景点：林散之艺术馆、延园、万竹坞。。。。。。游人在这里登高望远，流连忘返。

马鞍山的山美，水也美。城中间的雨山湖好似一颗碧绿的明珠，让这个小城显得越发的美丽。湖边到处是大树参天，鸟语花香，使人仿佛置身于远离喧嚣的森林中。你看，雨山湖的水真清啊，清得可以看见湖里的小鱼；雨山湖的水真静啊，静得像一面大镜子。我真想抓一块石头打个水漂，又生怕破坏这幅漂亮的画卷。公园的周围有很多宽阔的草坪，这里四季常青，老人们、孩子们有的引吭高歌，有的草坪起舞，有的下棋遛鸟，一派悠闲自得的样子。

What is art? When people think about this question, they will naturally

think about all kinds of musical instruments or the great paintings in the art

museums. Art seems to so far away from the ordinary people, but I don’t think

so. Art is everywhere. For example, the delicious food that is made by our

parents is the great art, and the value of the food is to bring people the great

joy when they have a taste of it. The scenery around us is the visible art, when

we appreciate it, our mood become eased. Art is something that brings people the

positive value for me, so art is around everybody. If we take time to slow down

our pace, then we can enjoy art from life and feel the comfortable
