My favorite subject is English.I often find chance to practice English.China has joined WTO and Beijing will host the 2008 Olympics,English is more and more important .I will study hard and be dedicate to my homeland.

初冬的一天，我如愿以偿地来到了苏州，参观了木渎古镇和定园。我们先来到了木渎古镇。苏州的古建筑保护得很好，导游介绍可以用十六个字来概括：房屋矮矮、道路窄窄、粉墙黛瓦、小桥流水。木渎古镇就是这样的。

古镇有一条小河，河边是铺着石板的小路。我走在了小路上，路旁边有许多的店铺。我看见了一个仿古的酒店，上面高挂着一面旗，旗上写着一个酒字，真是水村山郭酒旗风。木渎古镇可热闹了!镇上有各种招牌的店铺、作坊、酒楼、茶馆走着走着，我们来到了严家花园。严家花园有五幢楼，分别是门厅、怡宾楼、尚贤堂、明是楼和眺农楼。尚贤堂是五幢楼中最漂亮的。这个堂虽然有400多年的历史，但是木头还是跟原来一样，一点都没破。严家花园的内花园有春夏秋冬四个各具特色的小景区。花木丛中，整座花园幽静、淡然。走出内花园，我们来到了外花园。外花园里有一条清澈见底的小溪，溪旁种着垂柳。偶尔看见一两只麻雀飞到那青翠的柳树上，让这个外花园更有生机了。

我们又来到了定园，定园原来是明代刘伯温的私宅。我走进去，发现定园比别的园林更大、也更美。里面有茶花、菊花争奇斗艳，柳树、石榴傲霜枝，亭台楼阁、小桥流水我看见观花亭，它像一把巨大的双层大雨伞。亭前有一副对联：雨中有帛写永好，雨后逢花多清欢。走过了观花亭，我们又坐摇橹船了。摇橹船有点像乌篷船，坐上去晃晃荡荡的，真是惊险极了!上了岸，休息了一会儿，我们继续走，遇到了一个长廊，叫做节令廊。廊上挂着图画，有节气的，也有传统节日的。

苏州是茶的故乡，自然少不了去品茶。我沿着一个池塘上面的九曲桥，走进了定园的茶馆。我在茶馆里选了一张八仙桌坐了下来，要了一杯茉莉花茶。我悠闲地坐在八仙椅上，一边品茶，一边听苏州的古典乐曲评弹。那种感觉多惬意呀!

都说苏州园林甲天下，我游玩了苏州园林觉得果然名不虚传，美不胜收!
