I am proud of being a college student. I like my college life as it is so wonderful time in my youth. Summer can be very hot in southernxx where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

In my family, dad, have a strong sense of humor is a concern, education my mother, and a lively and lovely to me.

我爸爸的工作很辛苦，每隔三天才回来一次，说实话，在他不在家的时候，家里总是缺少一份欢乐的笑声。

但是他把工作当做生活的追求，认真的对待每一份工作。从来不计较一些小事，他常常用一些生活的例子来教育我怎样做人，他还常常用一些笑话来逗我和妈妈开心，在我闷闷不乐的时候会用一些开心的事情让我高兴起来。他还非常勤劳，什么事都是他抢在前面，可是他有些时候又非常懒，每到星期天他都会睡到9：30才起床，而且还要让我们叫醒他，所以我爸爸是一个幽默，勤劳而又懒的人。

我妈妈是一名家庭主妇，她每天为我们打扫卫生，做饭，洗衣服……都是她包了，但她从来不嫌累，认真的干这些家务活，还特别关心我。作业和书写方面都要求的非常严格，数学是她的强项，所以她总是给我布置一些奥数题，还常常教我用x等式，方程组那些复杂的式子来做，是让我扩充知识面。觉得对我一生都有用，所以她才肯用这些难度大的知识让我进行训练。她的脾气很大，动不动就发火，但是她能体会到我是怎样的心情，所以我们常常沟通，来发现对方的不足。这就是我妈妈，严格又关心我的人。

这就是我的家，温馨而和睦的家。

在我家雪白的墙壁上并排悬挂着一张“全家福”和一张“五好家庭”的奖状。其中那张“全家福”，还是爸爸特意把照相的师傅请到家中来照的呢！六口人笑容满面，谁看了都会喜欢。

瞧，中间坐着的那位慈祥的老人是我姥姥。姥姥今年82岁了，别看她相片显得挺富态，其实，命可苦啦！40多岁死了丈夫，50多岁又死了大儿子，80岁时，三儿子、小儿子又相继病故了，有过四男二女的姥姥到现在只剩下一个患心脏病的二儿子和两个女儿了。大姨、爸爸和妈妈怕姥姥经受不住这沉重的打击，为了让姥姥过一个安乐的晚年，两个舅舅死去的消息一直瞒着她。一连三年，为什么没有一个儿子来看她呢，这，姥姥还蒙在鼓里。为此老人家的脾气变得急躁了，常常自言自语，又气又骂。最近，姥姥的腿不幸骨折了，病痛加上想儿子，使老人家喜怒无常，有时喊着儿子的名字又哭又闹，有时对着爸爸妈妈又骂又叫。唉，姥姥也真够可怜的了！

看，坐在姥姥左边的中年男人，是我爸爸。瞧他们坐在一起的亲热劲，你一定会错认为这是亲娘俩。说真的，爸爸对待姥姥真比亲儿子还要亲哪。他是个有志气而心地善良的人。爸爸在供销社是个优秀职工，在家里，街坊邻居谁不伸大拇指！尤其姥姥这次病倒，几次去医院诊断都是爸爸抱进抱出，回家后，又和妈妈一起昼夜看护，喂水喂药，端屎端尿。就是在姥姥大发雷霆非要找儿子不可时，也仍像哄小孩一样地哄着姥姥，一直到她怒气平息为止。后来，他怕妈妈身体垮了，干脆就自己看护姥姥。姥姥的病一天天好转，而爸爸却一天天消瘦了。

瞧，坐在姥姥右边的就是我那当小学教师的妈妈。妈妈是个急性子，但我们都知道她是刀子嘴，豆腐心。有时姥姥一哭闹，就把她急得直哭。但她还是含着泪把自己亲手做的荷包蛋挂面汤端到老人家跟前去。你别看她给自己买东西总买处理品，可要给姥姥买可大方啦！水果、奶粉、蜂王精……姥姥想吃什么，都伸手可得。

你要问姥姥身后那三个人呀，当然就是哥哥、妹妹和我了。哥哥是个汽车修理工；妹妹正在上中专；我还是个小学生。虽然我们之间只相隔几岁，可从来不吵嘴，有什么事都能商量到一起去。就说这次姥姥摔伤吧，哥哥看到爸爸妈妈整天忙得疲劳不堪的样子，就偷偷地把妹妹和我叫到一起商量帮爸爸妈妈做点什么。于是我们兄妹决定：哥哥替父母值夜班，看护姥姥；妹妹每星期回来洗衣服、整理屋子；我呢，扫地、刷碗……全包了。星期日我们还强迫爸爸妈妈休息一天，学着他们的样子干，哄得姥姥笑着说：“好孩子，没白疼你们！”爸爸妈妈看到这情景，都欣慰地笑了，我们的心里也是甜滋滋的。

语文课上，老师让同学们列两张清单，一张是自己抱怨的事，一张是自己感恩的事。

我将这两张清单罗列完之后又重新逐条看了一遍。抱怨的事中第一件就是快中考了。是啊，中考，在我的想法里早已被压力、担心、紧张等等等等里三层外三层地围了个水泄不通。而不可否认的是，在感恩清单上的第一件事也是中考，因为中考过后可以升到高一级学府，而且还有近两个月的长假，那是很令人期待的事啊。

可见，无论是抱怨还是感激，都有内在的联系。我憎恨考试，它让我时时刻刻都那么紧张;我厌恶父母永无休止的唠叨，使我不得尽事随意“开心颜”。但我感激一次又一次的考试，让我认清自己的不足，更感谢父母的唠叨，这些唠叨句句都是关爱，让我不会迷失，更不会在无垠的人生旷野上走丢。

我们之所以抱怨那么多的事情，是因为它们令我们身心俱疲，打击在我们的最软弱处最悲哀处。然而，我们是否想过正是这些磨练使我们的脆弱处变得坚忍，从而提升了自己。

所以，我们抱怨的那些事情，也正是我们最应该感激的啊!

感激不如意的成绩，感激令人疲惫的体能训练，感激父母的唠唠叨叨，感激即将到来的中考……这些曾经都是“抱怨清单”的住户，如今却在我的“感恩清单”上居住，并且是永驻!

同那么多的抱怨，挥手作别吧，让它们成为我们的感恩基石，感激它们的历练使我们得到了真真正正彻彻底底的成长。

今天中午，吃过午饭后，我们一家人闲着没事干，于是我提议开一次家庭生活会，主题是说说自己的优点和缺点，爸爸妈妈听了都同意。

家庭生活会由妈妈主持，我来做记录。妈妈首先发言：“我的优点是热爱劳动，总是干家务。缺点是爱发暴脾气，一遇到不顺心的事，就爱提高嗓门。”“还真是，每天遇到心烦的事，就开始发脾气，而且还冲着我发！”我在一边插嘴道。“怎么了，爱发脾气又不是我的错，那个人不发脾气?”妈妈又开始喊了。我在一边小声的说：“老毛病又犯了！”妈妈等了一会儿气才消，装作一脸微笑说：“今后我一定要改掉我的坏脾气。”、

最后到我发言了，我说：“我的优点是每次回到家都主动学习，而且喜欢帮助别人，还喜欢做运动。缺点是不爱主动打扫卫生，早晨喜欢睡懒觉。今后我一定要改正我的缺点。”

爱睡觉-----我爸爸一放假就躺在床睡在头觉,只要他想睡就能从晚上11:00一觉睡到早上11:30,不时还打着呼噜.

干活----我妈妈可是个急性子中的急性子,她干起活来十分麻利扫地.拖地,洗碗…..不管什么她都能在几分钟内搞定。
