纳兰性德自卢氏亡后，无论是妻子的生日，还是忌日，庭前花开花落，天上云卷云舒，都满怀对妻子的深切怀念。他悼亡词哀婉伤怀，缠绵悱恻，清代著名诗人顾贞观曰“容若词，一种凄婉处，令人不忍卒读。人言愁，我始欲愁”。
