All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

“爱护环境、美化家园”，不只是一句空话，需要从我身边的小事做起，从我做起。

人类自诞生起，一切衣食住行及生产、生活、无不依赖于我们所生存的这个地球，森林、海洋、土壤、草原、野生动植物等。组成了错综复杂而关系密切的自然生态系统，赖以生存的基本环境。人类对自然的破坏却使得这个星球满目疮疤，人口的增长和生产活动的增多，也对环境带来了压力。

地球是人类唯一的家园，绿色生命是我们这个家园的主体，没有花草树木，空气怎么会滋润和清闲清新。种一棵树，爱护一草一木，便能染一片生命之绿洲。

我们的生活在发生着日新月异的变化，校园绿化成为我们不可分割的一部分时，爱护和保护环境也就成为一种健康向上的生活方式。保护环境，人人有责!我们现在虽然还只是小学生，不可能为全人类的环境作出特别大的贡献，从保护环境做起，例如：遵守有关禁止乱扔各种废弃物的规定应到指定的地点或容器中去放，养成良好的卫生习惯，不随意乱扔瓜皮果壳，烟头、食品包装物等，不随地吐痰，伸出你的手，捡起地上的一片废纸，一个废塑料袋，一支烟头，为环境的清洁献出你的爱心，支持和参与废纸、废塑料袋、废金属的回收利用尽量减少生活垃圾，这样可减轻垃圾处理工作的压力，爱护花草树木，我们要以身作则，用实际行动来美化我们生活的环境，保持校园清洁等。

以上这些虽然是小事，但是，我们做的事，实在太多了，许多事情当然必须由国家和政府来监管，应严格控制滥采乱挖，保护动、植物，控制污染。只要大家动手，一起努力，从节约资源和减少污染着手，从一点一滴做起，就能保护我们美丽家园的生态环境，我们就能为保护地球作出一份贡献。

环境永远是我们的朋友，无论是过去、现在、还是未来，少不了我们每一个公民的努力，让我们从小事做起，从生动中的一点一滴做起，让我们携起手来共同营造文明和谐和环境吧!让我们在校园这片圣洁的天空中放飞希望。

去年冬天一场大雪过后，我和爸爸妈妈去爬浮山。一进浮山就觉得一股清新的空气迎面扑来，抬眼望去大大小小的山头上白雪茫茫，雪的底下隐约露出一些绿色的树叶、褐色的土地……就像一副美丽的风景画。

咦？那里在干什么？很多人在那里排队，队伍好长，而且每个人都带着大大小小的桶？我拉着爸爸妈妈走进去，呵！原来他们都是在排队等着接这里的山泉水。这水能喝吗？妈妈告诉我，因为浮山属于崂山山脉，空气、环境都很好，污染也少，这里的山泉水特别好喝，所以附近很多人都从这里打水回家喝，甚至有的人从很远的地方特意过来呢！我特意喝了一口，真甜，比家里的自来水好喝多了。

离开了泉眼，我们继续往山里走，我发现在路的两边总能发现一些食品袋、饮料瓶，太可恶了，是谁在破坏这美丽的浮山！肯定是一些不讲文明的人，他们随手乱扔垃圾，不仅破坏了环境，造成了白色污染，又影响了草木的生长。大家都这样，以后浮山的山泉水还能喝吗？浮山还会是像今天这样美丽吗？

我记得爸爸跟我说过：因为经常有人在高速公路上乱扔垃圾，害的环卫工人不得不一次又一次的冒着生命危险去捡，后来就有一位环卫工人因为在高速公路上捡垃圾被撞死了……

因此，我们人人都要爱护环境，从我做起，不乱扔垃圾，少制造垃圾，努力让我们的家园更美好。

我是一只啄木鸟，生活在郁郁葱葱的森林。我快乐极，因为有许多的好伙伴被陪伴我。可是有一天……

太阳透过树洞照在我身上，暖和极了。我跳下床，伸了伸懒腰。忽然，我觉得肚子好饿好饿。是呀，这几天大树伯伯们都没有生病，我也找不到食物。怎么办?只好碰碰运气再出去找一下咯。我梳理了一下羽毛，准备起飞了。

我在林子里转了好大一圈，大树伯伯们都没有生病，看来我要饿肚子了。我正准备飞回去，突然听到前方有几声“笃笃”的声音。怎么回事?难道是同类在啄食?可是怎么听那声音也不像啊?于是，我飞过去看看。

我落在一棵树上瞅了瞅，原来是一个盗木人在砍树。他挥舞着手中磨得锋利的斧头，一下一下地砍在树腰上。这时，我隐隐约约地听到大树伯伯在呻吟。往日的景象一幕幕地放映在我脑袋中。好几年前，有一群盗木人在这里砍树，使得我们鸟类没有了栖息之地，许多小树失去了爸爸妈妈……怎么办?我得救救大叔伯伯。我急忙飞上前去，用尖利的使劲啄着盗木人榆木一样的脑袋，嘴里还边说：“这段木头里一定有虫。”说盗木人有榆木一样的脑袋真没错，因为他也不想想，毁坏树木资源就等于毁灭自己人类。他们人类的生存哪一样离得开自然资源的给予呢?

盗木人被我啄得疼极了，正想逃走。突然从森林小道上走来了一群人，他们手臂上带着一个红袖套，我知道这些人是森林环保局的。盗木人一看到他们，立刻吓得脸发白。不一会儿，我便看到他们把这个可恶的盗木人带走了。

林中又恢复了以往的宁静……

所以，我呼吁人类，要保护环境，爱护森林资源，因为，我们是你们的好朋友啊!
