Last Sunday, I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. The park was full of freshness and beauty of spring, with the sun shining and birds singing. When I was enjoying the fantastic scenery around, something unpleasant caught my eye. A young couple in a boat were eating, talking and laughing loudly as if they were the only people in the world. Whats worse, they spat and even threw rubbish into the lake, totally ignoring the noticeable sign "No Littering" nearby. What a shame!

Such behavior left me deep in thought. If all visitors to the Fairy Lake Park do as the couple did, the lake will be severely polluted and soon turned into a huge dustbin. I think all of us should mind our behavior in public places. Only in this way can we live in more comfortable and beautiful surroundings.

对照他们，再来看看我们自己，又是怎样做的呢？“环保”这二字在许多人心中却仍很淡薄。我们身边有一些人，整天吃吃喝喝，吃完了东西就往地上扔，地上废纸、果皮、口香糖到处都是；一些工厂，每天都要排出大量浓烟，白云也给熏黑了，小鸟也给熏跑了，他们还往清澈地小河中排放污水，让河水脏兮的，鱼儿也全肚皮朝天不明不白地死了，河水五颜六色，再浓点简直就能做颜料！最过分的就是那些砍伐树木的坏家伙，他们用一个又大又宽的电锯把树锯倒，小鸟们流离失所，树木们无声哭泣……可那些家伙却早已财迷心窍，哪计后果！大地开始枯黄，风沙漫天飞舞，洪水如老虎猛兽……

我呼吁大家，呼吁所有的人们：珍惜每一块绿色的土地，爱护我们的地球母亲，让人们远离那可怕的生态灾难！

现在，地球已经因为人类过分透支资源、破坏环境而变得伤痕累累。所以，我们应该觉悟，不要再这样下去。爱护环境是我们现在最需要做的事，我们要爱护环境，减少对地球的伤害以及负担。

其次，爱护环境还需要我们爱护身边的一花一树、一草一木，它们是与我们共存的。要是说爱护树木，我们就应该节约纸张。不要只在一张纸上随手写写就把它扔掉，他是来自于树木经过加工而制成的。而且乱扔也只能做到破坏环境。说起节约纸张，我又不得不提一下节约用水。许多人认为水是“取之不尽，用之不竭”的，在日常生活用水中不知道珍惜，没有意识到水对于我们来说是多么重要。想起节约用水，让我陷入了难忘的回忆（时间慢慢飞回了从前）：不经意之间在电视上浏览到的这样一则公益广告，让我的内心久久不能平静。电视画面上有一个水龙头，此时正在艰难的往外滴水，滴水的速度越来越慢，越来越慢，终究就慢慢枯竭了、停止滴水了。许多人哭泣了，泪滴慢慢地滑过他们的脸。随之出现的是这样一句话：“如果人们不珍惜水，那么剩下的最后一滴水将会是我们自己的眼泪。”看完这则广告，我颇有感受，我们真的应该节约用水了！（时间又回到了现在）节约用水并不是让你一个月不洗手、不洗澡。“节约”的反义词是“浪费”，那也就是说，你只要不浪费，而且减少不必要的使用，你就是节约的。

然而，爱护环境对于自然界来说就是要爱护、保护以及维护自然界的生态平衡。动物、植物和人类一起生活在这个世界上，还要和睦相处，这就叫生态平衡。可是现在人类并有做到和动物、植物和睦相处，所以生态变得不那么平衡。人类不应该随意杀害动物。供我们食用的动物不说，可是一些濒临灭绝的动物我不能不说！就像受到国家保护的动物，也是会有些不怕死的人明知故“犯”。他们有的为了赚钱，毫不留情地夺走一些动物身上值钱的部分；有的为了爱慕虚荣，贪图荣华富贵，毫不留情地剥削拥有美丽毛皮的动物；甚至还有的为了品尝品尝，毫不留情地扼杀一个个动物的生命。难道这就是所谓的爱护动物么？曰：非然也。如果我们想好好地活着，那么我们就要让动物们也好好地活着。如果你善待动物，不随意伤害、虐待、欺凌弱小的动物，不伤害动物，给他们一个和我们一样美好的环境去生活，你就是爱护大自然的。
