前几天，我在报纸上看到这样一幅漫画：一个人坐在树梢上，正在砍他坐着的那根树枝。“哼，真好笑。”有些人可能会这么想。难道你就没有想一想，这仅仅是幅好笑的漫画吗?它不正是在讽刺我们吗?难道你就没有悟到，它在警告我们：人类在破坏环境的同时，也在不知不觉地伤害自己。

当你走在大街上，如果你想吐痰，你会怎么做呢?如果你选择了吐在地上，那么你想过没有，你在害自己吗?一口痰含有大量的病菌，当太阳着时就会繁殖、传染。同样，当你砍伐一棵树，当你挖掉一片草，当你把脏物倒进河流，难道你没有觉得这是在破坏环境，“伤害”自己吗?

一直以来，生态环境是人们生活的基本条件，如今却已被我们破坏，原来的丛林沙漠化，比如撒哈拉大沙漠。还有水源污染、破坏森林、砍伐树木、空气污染……。我们将自己的家园破坏，不善待我们唯一的地球，等到地球到达它不能承受的时候，它就会反过来惩罚我们。

就拿乱扔垃圾来说吧，人们经常乱扔垃圾，烟头、槟榔渣、零食袋……却没人站出来说这是不对的，环境就会为这一件小小的事情被破坏，如果地球上60亿都乱扔垃圾，后果真是不堪设想。

人们还砍伐树木，制作大量纸制品和木制品，却不知间接浪费了多少木头，比如一次性筷子。地球上一年就会丢弃450亿双一次性筷子，等于砍伐2500万棵树，导致全球气温变暖。人们应该多植树，让绿色回归大自然，空气也得以改善。

我家门前有一条小河。

一天，我想到小河边去钓鱼，快到河边的时候，忽然闻到了一阵难闻的臭味。我跑到小河边一看。啊!什么时候小河里的水浊浊的，还有许多垃圾漂浮在上面，还有一些小鱼喝了那些不干净的河水，翻着肚子在水面呢。

我赶紧把村民叔叔伯伯都叫来。叔叔伯伯议论纷纷，想来想去，都不知道要怎么处理。最后我想到办法了!“我们把垃圾捞上来，然后再去上游把水源清理一下”。大家一致同意。于是大家七手八脚地干了起来，过了几天后，小河终于变回原来清澈干净的样子。我们还放了几条小鱼，小河变得比以前更美。

为了继续维持小河清晰干净的样子，我在小河边上立了一块木板“保护环境，人人有责。”

我看过爸爸20多岁时的照片，那时的她白白胖胖，脸色红润。可不知什么时候起，爸爸每天都要吸一包烟。慢慢的，他的牙齿变黑了，手指变黄了，身上散发出一股难闻的烟味。我见了他，躲都来不及。我和妈妈几次劝爸爸戒烟，可他却说：“现在生活安定了，也该学着享受，再说，吸烟的男人有风度嘛！”虽说我们心里不高兴，但妈妈心软，最后还是由着她。

过了不久，我发现爸爸开始咳嗽，那声音越来越响了。先是轻轻的几声，然后是连续不断的咳嗽。有时咳得脸发红，连眼泪都流出来了。每天晚上，还没看见他回家，就可以听见他那刺耳的咳嗽声了，那声音听起来像七八十岁的老人一样苍老。爸爸实在熬不过，就只好求助医生。经过医生诊断，发现爸爸得了气管炎，这下，爸爸不得不下决心戒烟了。有时见爸爸实在忍不住了，我就把零食往他的嘴里塞，这个办法还真管用。

现在，爸爸长胖了，胃口开了，精神也饱满起来了。爸爸也主动把原来用来吸烟的钱补贴家用，有时也给我买学习用品、玩具，给妈妈购买衣服、营养品。现在，我的家里又充满了欢声笑语。

我的家乡太仓就在美丽的江南。600年前，伟大的航海家郑和率领庞大的船队从太仓刘家港出发，“七下西洋”传播中华文明。听妈妈讲她们小的时候，家乡的河水清澈见底，小鱼可以欢快地在小河里玩耍，乡间有很多高大挺拔的树木，人们的生活也非常环保非常健康。

可是，随着经济的发展，现在的环境有了很大的变化。很多农村的耕地被征用，又建造了许多的工厂。昔日高大的树木被砍伐了，种树的人也越来越少，绿绿的小草变黄了，鲜艳的鲜花变少了，连蓝蓝的天空也因为工厂排出的废气变得不那么蓝了，冬天PM超过2、5的天气也越来越多，我们小朋友必须要戴着口罩去上学。我们房子边的小河里的水越来越脏，根本看不到小鱼的影子，这都是小河边的饭店乱排污水所致。有时我也在家里听到楼上的居民向小河里乱抛垃圾，这些居民连最基本的道德品质都丧失了，他们知不知道，他们的随手之举给环卫局的工人带来了多少麻烦?经常看见环卫局的工人划着小船在小河里打捞垃圾，他们真的非常辛苦，非常敬业!

随着社会的进步，中国已经从自行车大国过渡到汽车大国。从我一个十岁儿童的理解角度出发，像我们太仓这样的小城市根本不需要那么多的汽车，我们孩子上学家长用自行车和电动车接送就可以了，大人上班大部分离单位也很近，也可以用同样的交通工具，要是路途遥远就乘坐公交车，这样就很环保。我最害怕冬天的时候，天上有雾霾，地上都是汽车释放的尾气，嗓子特别地难受。希望以后通过治理环境，能让我们家乡的天空变得和以前一样明亮。

做为一个儿童，尽管我们所能做的只是一件件小事，就是不乱扔垃圾，节约用水，吃用简单，做一个热爱家乡的环保小卫士。
