过了几分钟，我们俩发现不光是我们两个人在捡垃圾，还有同学王子豪、汪灵馨、夏雨轩和郭杰妮也在这里捡垃圾，所以，我们就组成了一个小团队，夏雨轩给我们这个小团队取了个名字叫”环保小团队“，我们觉得很好听，接着，我们又继续捡垃圾了。唉，垃圾可真多啊！短短的几分钟，我一个人就捡了好几包垃圾了。我回头一看，“哇，我们捡过的地方比以前干净多了。”

我希望大家不要随地乱扔垃圾，看到垃圾就捡起来，那么，我们的环境岂不是会变得更好吗？

On Water Shortage

No one can have failed to notice the fact that water shortage is a grave problem with which the whole world is confronted. Actually, it has become so widespread that it has severely affected peoples daily life and hindered the development of the global economy.

A number of factors could account for the problem, but the following might be the critical ones. First, with the development of agriculture and industry, an increasing amount of water is needed. Secondly, the ever-increasing population is another leading cause of water shortage. Besides, the global tendency of warming up also contributes to the problem. Whats worse, pollution and waste of fresh water aggravate the situation.In view of the seriousness of the problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse. 全球变暖是已经威胁人类生存，已被人类认识到的的环境问题之一，全球变暖是指全球气温升高。近100多年来，全球平均气温经历了冷—暖—冷—暖两次波动，总的看为上升趋势。进入八十年代后，全球气温明显上升。1981年—1990年全球平均气温比一百年前上升了0、48℃，导致全球变暖的主要原因是人类在近一个世纪以来大量使用矿物燃料(如煤，石油)排放出大量的CO2等多种温室气体。由于这些温室气体对来自太阳辐射的短波具有高度的透过性，而对地球反射出来的长波辐射具有高度的吸收性，也就是常说的温室效应，导致全球气候变暖。全球变暖的后果，会使全球降水量重新分配，冰川和冻土消融，海平面上升等，既危害自然生态系统的平衡，更威胁人类的食物供应和居住环境。

据调查，2005年至2006年，瑞士大部分冰川不仅继续萎缩，而且厚度严重下降，苏黎世理工大学研究人员对85条冰川进行测量的结果表明与前几年的情况相同，大部分冰川长度继续缩短，冰川的前端都在继续消融，在萎缩最为严重的冰川中，着名的苏里塔冰川缩短了700米。阿莱奇冰川缩短了115米苏里塔冰川萎缩的原因是最近几年冰川持续融化。去年夏季，这条冰川的前端融化成零星分布的冰块研究结果还表明，冰川的厚度也严重下降，除了夏季炎热之外，冬季降雪不足是主要原因。共有大小冰川1800多条，此次测量的85条冰川包括了各种类型。2006年年末以来，瑞士气温偏高，出现暖冬现象，降雪量严重不足，以至于一些滑雪比赛项目被取消，一些如期举行比赛的赛场也靠人工造雪维持。瑞士气象和自然科学专家担心，降雪不足和暖冬将给冰川造成更为严重的影响。

Beautiful living environment is the basis of which we live, but now, our environmental protection consciousness is more and more weak. Though, we all know that protect the environment, but not the property of the consciousness of earth, destroy the originally beautiful environment; In fact, in life, as long as pay attention, everywhere can be environmental protection.

在我们周围的那些餐馆中随处可以看到，老板为了达到“卫生”的标准，而不自觉的大量使用那些用树木做出的木质筷子;为此付出的代价是巨大的，一棵棵青翠的树木随着巨响而轰然倒下，一只只鸟儿被迫离开，一群又一群可爱的动物无家可归，可他们却当作没有看到，原本自然的生态环境就这样被他们破坏。不仅森林没有了，而动物也是不放过。最近，一些广东人竟然把机灵可爱的小猴子活活的把头打开把脑子吃了下去，他们看着一只只可爱的小猴子无辜的死去，却还是无动于衷，这是多么令人发指的事呀!

我们身为地球的主人，如果不珍惜现在的一切，那这美好的环境一定会早早的离开我们。到时候，我们会面临灾难，地球也会伤痕累累，而受到伤害;所以我们应该做到主人应该做的事，好好的保护我们生存的环境，不要蓄意的去破坏，要记住：保护坏境，就是保护将来的人类。

Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world.For example,cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and poisonous gas is given off by factories.Trees on the hills have been cut down and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore,wherever we go today,we can find rubbish carelessly disposed.Pollution is,in fact,threatening our existence.

This summer vacation, I joined a social practice to be a part-time tourguide. There I found something that impressed me a lot.

People who love traveling are always finding places to take a vacation, which caused a lot of troubles.For example, I found that some people were used to dropping out the trash everywhere. They just regarded the sightseeings as their houses, which cost a lot to clean it up. Besides, some one should write down their names on the trees and walls. People who wanted to leave their names whereever they went are always to punish in future.

Nevertheless, I also found some good examples, such as teaching tourists not to destroy the places of historic interests, helping clean up the environment,etc..I think we all need to teach more people not to hurt our precious nature. What we really need to do is protect them form destroying.
