但是，我们以前的校园中依然存在着许多与“低碳环保”主题不相适应的行为：

①有的同学用水毫无节制，大量浪费水资源，洗漱时大开水龙头，用完还不关紧，②有的同学使用塑料袋，饮用矿泉水，并将塑料随地乱扔，不仅危害了身体健康，也造成了校园内的白色污染；③粮食浪费现象严重，同学们都不吃素菜，食堂的剩菜剩饭都要以桶计量；④浪费纸张，在校园内乱贴乱画，语言有的不堪入目，不仅破坏了校园环境，同时也浪费了资源；⑤不节约用电，有的教室总有“常明灯”。首先，低碳的生活方式，就是在生活的细节上注重节能减耗。除了做作业必须开灯之外，其余的事情都靠窗外的照明灯来相助。因为我们的客厅大，窗外的照明灯照进来都可以醒目地看到室内的一切，吃饭时，真像一桌“烛光晚餐”，这真是一大盏“天然的灯”啊。以上行为都是与低碳环保相悖的。

同学们，当我们有以上某些不良行为时是否想到了西南五省旱区每人每天配给的4两水；是否想到了世界上还有因饥饿而死去的人们；是否想到了贫困山区的孩子们还在煤油灯下读书；又是否想起了森林里那一棵棵倒下了的参天大树？我们并没有权利可以浪费，也没有可以浪费与挥霍的资本，如果这样的浪费行为扩大到全市、全省、全国甚至全世界，我们一天之内又将失去多少呢？然而作为学生的我们，虽然不能为社会服务，做出大贡献，但每一个人，只要从自身做起，力求节俭，就是一种贡献。
