星期六，我来到公园里，这里绿树成荫，鸟语花香，那绿茵茵的草地像是给大地妈妈披上了绿装。我自言自语地说：“是个游玩的好地方。”我正欣赏着美景，忽然，我看到有一位穿粉色裙子的大姐姐，随手把面包袋扔在草地上。我连忙跑过去对她说：“大姐姐，你这样做是不对的，我们都应该爱护环境，为美丽的家园献出一份力量。”大姐姐听了，红着脸转身跑了。哎！大姐姐一定是不好意思了。我没有继续去追她，而是走到草地上，弯下腰拾起面包袋，往几十米远的垃圾桶走去，把面包袋丢进垃圾桶里。旁边几位跳广场舞的奶奶看见了我的一举一动，都竖起大拇指对我连声称赞道：“你真是个好孩子，小朋友们都像你这样保护环境，公园就更美丽了。”我听到了她们的称赞，心里像喝了蜜一样甜。

我继续在公园溜达，突然，一个烟头从我眼前飞过。我转身一看，是一位叔叔抽完烟后，随手把烟头扔到了地上。我跑了过去，对那位叔叔说：“叔叔，你不应该乱扔烟头，那会污染环境的！而且公共场合是不能抽烟的。”叔叔不以为然地说：“不就扔了一个烟头吗？那会污染环境吗？少管闲事。”我听了，捡起地上的烟头，说：“如果每个人一天扔掉一个烟头，那地球不就成垃圾站了吗？”那位叔叔的脸变得通红，把我手中的烟头扔进了垃圾桶，然后摸了摸我的头，说：“哎，现在的小学生可真了不得了！我们大人要向小学生学习。”我笑着说：“只要人人都保护环境，家乡的环境就会变得更加美好。”我和叔叔都笑了。

“环保”是一个常见的、热门的，人人有感觉的话题，可是，你有没有问过自己，你离环保有多远？

地球是有两颗行星撞击所产生的一颗星球，它经过了几亿年的地壳运动才形成的一颗美丽的星球。本来，地球可以将这种状态持续几亿年，但是，因为人类的出现，地球已经伤痕累累。从古时候开始人们就大肆砍伐树木，到了现在人们砍木头去卖，用火烧树桩做肥料，等土地失去肥力，那片土地就已荒废告终。以前的海面清澈无比，现在的海面全是塑料、牙刷、玻璃……动物们分不清什么是垃圾，什么是食物，许多海鸥因吞食垃圾逝去，数据表明，世界上胃里垃圾最多的鸟是一只幼鸟，它的胃里有多达365片垃圾碎片。还有一些海龟因为被塑料卡住了气管，最后因窒息而死。还有一种污染会导致生物灭绝，在英国一个海边的一个城市，它们经常吃一些食底泥动物，导致那一片食底泥动物的灭绝，本来人们认为没有什么。过了两年，那儿的海藻泛滥成灾，污染了地下水，让他们被迫移民了。

为了不让这种悲剧发生在我们身上，我们一定要提倡环保，不仅要提倡环保，我们还要保护大气层，减少大气污染，保护地球的生态环境，让它更好地造福于我们的子孙后代吧！

前几天我在公园里看见别人乱扔垃圾，我就想到我家乡的那条小溪，简直跟以前相差十万八千里。

原来这条小溪是非常清澈的，能看水底下游来游去的小鱼、小虾和绿如丝带的小草。岸边的小草穿上嫩绿的衣服，柳树抽出嫩绿的叶子，空气清新。

记得在我五岁那一年，才发生污染的现象。那一次工厂里的水流进了那条小溪里，小溪被污染了，还有农民在那条小溪旁种了庄稼，农民给那些生病虫的庄稼打农药。下雨了，雨和农药一起流到小溪。还有不懂得保护环境的人把垃圾扔到小溪里，这些行为把小溪污染得黑黑的、臭臭的，小溪里再也没有游来游去的的小鱼和小虾了。

他们觉得这样还不够，于是他们又把一棵棵树给砍倒，还把一堆堆垃圾给烧了，弄得乌烟滚滚，天空跟天黑了似的。我真想对破坏环境的人说：“请保护环境，好吗？再不住手，就会害了我们人类自己的。”

一个美好的家园是需要大家一起保护的，所以我们人人有责。

As Chinese traditional virtue, helping others and taking care of each other

are the basic virtue of a person. We are lucky that we are born to be a healthy

person, while some persons are not that lucky, they may be born to be a disable

man or get hurt by accidents. Out of the basic virtue, it is not right to laugh

at them, we need to help each other, showing our love to them. December 3rd,

2013 is World Disabled Day, the day reminds people of the care about disable

men. The disable often ignored by us, since they are special group, we should

take care of them, give them our hands. We can do something for them, like

helping them when cross the road. We can help them from small things, helping

each other makes the world more beautiful.

Dragon Boat race Traditions

At the center of this festival are the dragon boat races. Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats forward to the rhythm of beating drums. These exciting races were inspired by the villagers valiant attempts to rescue Chu Yuan from the Mi Luo river. This tradition has remained unbroken for centuries.

Tzung Tzu

A very popular dish during the Dragon Boat festival is tzung tzu. This tasty dish consists of rice dumplings with meat, peanut, egg yolk, or other fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves. The tradition of tzung tzu is meant to remind us of the village fishermen scattering rice across the water of the Mi Luo river in order to appease the river dragons so that they would not devour Chu Yuan.

Ay Taso

The time of year of the Dragon Boat Festival, the fifth lunar moon, has more significance than just the story of Qu Yuan. Many Chinese consider this time of year an especially dangerous time when extra efforts must be made to protect their family from illness. Families will hang various herbs, called Ay Tsao, on their door for protection. The drinking of realgar wine is thought to remove poisons from the body. Hsiang Bao are also worn. These sachets contain various fragrant medicinal herbs thought to protect the wearer from illness.

Environmental protection, there are many problems at present. The most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. Air pollution is very harmful to human health. 我的看法是，为了保护环境，政府应当采取更具体的措施。首先，应当通过教育的方法使人们充分謒到环境保护的重要性。第二，应更加努力把计划生育政策付诸实施，因为人口多就意味着污染严重。最后，要严惩那些故意破坏环境者。使他们破坏环境就是毁灭人类自己。
