I often read twenty minutes before I fall asleep. I have class in the afternoon. And I still have classes at night. It’s boring, right? But I have got used to it and enjoy myself at school.

我的宿敌是人类，虽然他每天都想着趁我不注意的时候给我一个冷不防，将我擒住，可是我时时不放松警惕，生怕人类来抓我。虽然这么一天很累，但我也很快乐，很开心。这样可以使我得到锻炼，如若没有人类来捉我们，那么我们都会变得特别的懒，万一人类来个突然袭击，怎么办？只能乖乖的做人类的晚餐嘞。可我不服气，我要让人类来抓我，但是还不让他抓住，这样我就能锻炼得到我的身心。

有的人类抓住鸟，让鸟侥幸逃脱人类的魔爪，可是下一次呢，你还能逃脱的了吗？有第一次，那就不可能再有第二次了！

我们的生活很累，但也有许多的乐趣和幸福，我作为一只鸟，我会感到自己生活在一个温馨的大家庭里，有许多友善的动物做我的邻居和我们相互照应。

生活是幸福的，我们原本也应该幸福。如果，你在自己的心中，找不到幸福。那么，你在任何地方，都找不到了。

总忿忿然以为，世界欠我良多，每每在我最想得到的时候让我失之交臂；一次次在我攀爬将至顶峰的欣悦，瞬即更置成坠落谷底的沮丧。风吹干思念凄楚的泪眼，雨打湿寂静孤单的心，总有挥不去的雾，总有抹不了的殇。却不知，幸福其实一直存在于我们触手可及的空间里，却往往视而不见。

其实苦痛谁都经历所以，请不要总感叹自己是世界上最糟糕的人，不要自怨自艾的愤慨幸运女神予以自己的吝啬，不要感时伤怀的将自己推向忧伤的沼泽里，处处如履薄冰、举步维艰。也不要习惯性地去渲染自己历往的苦难，总“自信”地以为自己所承受的灾祸是无与伦比的，而别人的那些风浪跟本就不算得了什么。如同北岛所云：“人总是自以为经历的风暴是唯一的，且自诩为风暴，想把下一代也吹得东摇西晃”。而现实却是另一番光景：放眼望去，芸芸众生里遍地开满了挣扎不屈的生命之花，倔强的在生命中绽放笑靥，而我们，也只是丛林花海中的一枝，然非独秀。

有的人本来很幸福，看起来却很忧伤。有的人本来该忧伤，看起来却很幸福。为什么呢？圣贤说：“难得糊涂”！凡事太较真，就会觉得自己失去得很多。而糊涂的人，计较得少，虽然活得简单粗陋，却因此觅得人生的乐趣。所以，我们的忧伤其实都是自找的，不是它离不开我们，而是我们撇不下它。

Summer can be very hot in southern xx where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim.

In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
