一、转换思维，确立英语在各学科中的重要地位

首先老师必须帮助学生确立这样的观点：英语是主课，不是豆芽课。在小学阶段，不论是老师，学生，还是家长，可能都看重语文，数学的学习。在小学的英语教学中，老师主要是以游戏为主，关键是学校和教育部门对英语的评估不如语文数学那样重视。所以学生普遍认为语文，数学很重要，英语是豆芽课，学英语就跟玩似的。到了中学，仍然主攻语数、理化，依然把英语当副科。一个学生亲口跟我说：我一直都以为初中英语跟小学一样，是豆芽课。我心痛不已。在入学之初，班主任和英语老师都应反复强调英语这一学科的重要性，让学生引起重视，才能为以后认真学习作好心理准备。

很多初一新生按字母顺序背单词，有些老师也确实这么教的，比如自行车，bike,老师就领着学生念：B-I-K-E，bike。学生自然就学会了这样背单词，即使后来老师介绍了更科学的方法，学生却难改已经养成的习惯，这种方法就一直用到初三，乃至更高的年级。

初一单词量不算很多，本身课程比较轻松，有足够的时间，还能应付。到了高年级，单词量增加，课业加重。学生再也顾不上单词了，即使花了很多时间，单词还是记不住，这就影响了听说，阅读。成绩下降，兴趣降低，学习跟不上了，最终只好放弃学习英语。

任何一个民族都有其独特的文化和思维方式以及语言的构成方式。西方人的思维、习惯是有别于咱们中国人的，英语语言也是有别于汉语的。英语老师都明白这一点。但老师却没重视这种差异给学生学习带来的困惑。没有及时告诉学生这些差异，这就容易导致学生用中国人的思维方式去理解英语中的一些现象，而且百思不得其解。

同时我在课堂上也要求学生大声说英语。一个有趣的活动是让教室里相隔甚远的两个同学随意问答，这也可以改变学生因害羞，害怕而不大声说英语的状况。

现在很多人，特别是那些生活在农村的人，都想去都市生活。但是，都市生活真的很好吗?每面硬币都有两面，每件事都有利有弊。

Its true that things seem to be more convenient in some ways such as

finding jobs, transportation service, etc. Also places for relaxing like parks

and hotels are attractive.

This week I mostly stayed at home and did some homework. Last Saturday HP6 had just come out. And many Harry Potter fans went to buy it. I did’t buy it because it was too expensive, but I downloaded it on the Internet. It was in English. Many people went on translating as soon as the book came out. I also took part in it and became a part of the translating group. From this group, I first realized that my English was so poor. I needed to look up in the dictionary all the time. You can also eat with your elders and sisters at your grandmothers house, and enjoy the Dragon Boat Festival, but this year, it is not so lively. Uncle and aunt went out to earn money. Uncle went out with his sister. There were only three family members and grandparents. It looks very cold.

上次，我的英语月考成绩低得可怜，因为我没复习阅读的部分。所以这次我决定一雪前耻。考试的前几天，我每天回到家，就打开书，不断的重复阅读那几段要考的故事，希望可以有好成绩。

终于等到了考试的这一天，我的神经不停的抽搐着，不时的绷着，我留了一身冷汗，看着老师发着考卷，我吞了口口水，看着考卷传了下来，我颤抖着双手，拿着考卷，笔拿了起来，那枝笔似乎比平常来得要重，我用那只沉重的笔，开始了这场令人神经紧绷的考试。

每写完一大题，我的情绪就越紧张，因为那阅读的部分在我写完一大题，就会离我越近。危机逼近，我的皮随着也紧了起来。我在心里不断的念念有词：“要来啦！要来啦！它要来啦！”但是当我望向时钟，心里疑惑着：“怪了！过了这么久，考卷也即将要写完了，怎么还不见噩梦来袭呢？”
