I went Chong Qing in July 22.It is a city which was built near mountains. So people call it Mountain City. In Chong Qing,I went to the Red Stone Center, to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past. It is a terrible and awful trip. There are a lot of dogs, and soldiers with guns near the prisons. And most of the prisons are good, they didnt want to tell the bad people where the other people were. As a student ，I don’t have any great event to talk about ，but here I want to share my experience of preparing for the high school entrance examination.

During the first three years of junior school ，we were very happy and free .But we often heard that Grade 4 would be a hell. After the final exam of Grade 3 in June， everything blew onto our faces : teachers’ changing ， harder and harder texts ， terrible pressure and of course the graduate exam .Where your position was on the listboard became the most important thing in our life .We had to study hard day and night ，always from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. the next day.

But I must say that it’s really an unforgettable memory in my life. Under the pressure we lived our life to the fullest， and enjoyed the true interesting things that we may have never cared before. Grade 4 in junior school was a turning point in my life. My attitude to learning， my world outlook and my philosophy of life all changed. I turned to be positive and strong. I also gained many people’s true & pure friendship， both teachers ’ and classmates’. In some way， I like that kind of life， as it taught me many things I’d never learned before.

Teachers also helped me a lot. I still can’t forget that my history teacher talked to me until 10:00 p.m. on April 30th， 2003， for my application. My head teacher also encouraged me， so did my Chinese teacher. I should say， all my teachers worked very hard and always neglected their sleep and meals. Even if some of them were about 50 and often fell ill， they never left us one day .

Last summer I went to Vietnam with my parents. We stayed at a small village outside Saigon. The air and water was very clean and there were many kids playing in the mud along with water buffalos. Though it’s a very poor country, the kids seem to be happy. They live with their farmer parents in little houses built with dirt and straw and help out a lot in the rice field during the day. They don’t have TVs or Internet, but they enjoy a lot playing outside. It was a very memorable trip that I will never forget.

The morning I got up as usual, brush my teeth, after a while to eat breakfast, then my mother came to me and said, A Fei, after today was a year older, I just nodded, mom meant that I didnt understand why, my heart is very excited, dont know Mom I will send what kind of birthday gift, birthday last year but mom bought me a game of my dream, my mother saw I like to say today, mom, and dad wanted to give you a very special birthday gift, I am very happy, Dad took a box, I like it apart, I see, is a pen, ah, is not a toy, dad said, soon to enter junior high school, a lot of things is not suitable for you, some things can not keep on playing, learning is the first one, I thought Nod a nod.

I didnt get the toys I liked, but I got something more meaningful because I grew up.

I liked playing computer games,but my daddy was not happy because he thought it was not good for my study.Sometimes I felt I was not a free boy when my daddy was so strict with me,so I tried to talk to my daddy,and he said he was happy because I talked to him,and now he let me play games if I study well.From this,I understand a friendly talk can help people get along well.

Today is my birthday and Im so excited about it. In the morning I put a note on the table for my mum and it said, "Today is my birthday, dont forget it!" At school, I got many gifts and cards from my classmates and had a lot of fun. But I was still expecting the birthday party after school.

When it was time to leave school I couldnt wait to go home. When I open the door, there wasnt anybody in the house. There was only a note that said, "Coming home late tonight,mum and dad. "I try to call them but there was no answer.I was so shocked,do they forget my birthday?How could this be! I was so sad that I couldnt eat anything. I just did my homework and waited for them.

And then,things changed completely. It was about time for dinner, my mother called and told me to go to the restanrant near our house. When I got there I couldnt believed my eyes. Everybody was there:my parents,my relatives, my friends and even my classmates. There was so many gifts and a big cake. What a surprising birthday party! We had a good time and it was the best birthday party ever.

今天是我的生日，我很兴奋。早上我把一张纸条放在桌子上对我的妈妈说，“今天是我的生日，别忘了它！”在学校里，我从我的同学那得到了许多礼物和卡片,我很开心。但我仍然期待放学后的生日晚会。

当放学的时候，我迫不及待的想回家。当我打开门的时候，没有人在房子里。只有一张纸条，说，“今晚会晚回家，妈妈和爸爸。”我试着打电话给他们，但没有人回答。我很震惊，他们忘了我的生日？怎么会是这样！我伤心的我不能吃下任何东西。我只是做了我的家庭作业，等他们。

然后，事情发生了变化。这是吃晚饭的时间了，我的母亲打电话告诉我去我家附近的餐馆。当我到那里的时候，我不能相信我的眼睛。大家都在那儿：我的父母，我的亲人，我的朋友和我的同学。有那么多的礼物和大蛋糕。多么令人惊喜的生日派对！我们都很开心，这是最好的生日晚会。
