农历八月十五日中秋节，是我国古老的传统节日中的五大庆贺之一，也是权次于春节的一个重大节日，亦称仲秋节，秋节、团圆节、八月节、女儿节等。其名称之多，仅次于端午节；而流传地城之广，首推第一。时在农历秋季的孟、仲、季三个月之中的月半而得名。此夜月亮又圆又明，民间起义合家团聚赏月为重要内容，寓圆满之意。中秋一词，始现于《周礼》。那时，每逢中秋夜晚要举行迎寒和祭月活动。月饼真正和中秋节联系在一起是在明朝的时候。当时不仅赏月活动盛行不衰，而且祭月习俗盛行，祭月供品除香灯之外，还有团圆月饼。我国民间祭月、赏月的风俗很多。待到月儿当空，全家人便在清澈的月光下赏月叙谈，分享祭月礼品。

古代时的月饼，无论外形，还是大小，都很不统一，名称也很有趣，饼面上一般绘有“嫦娥奔月”“月中蟾兔”等精美的图案和装饰。到了现代，月饼的构图更新颖、花色品种更多了。各地习俗不同，月饼又各具风味，按口味分。有甜味、咸味、甜咸味；按馅料分，有素馅和荤馅等；按造型分，有光面和花纹面；按产地分，有北京的“京式月饼”、苏州的“苏式月饼”、云南的“滇式月饼”、广州的“广式月饼”、宁波的“宁式月饼”、福建的“五红月饼”等。

每年中秋节，我们全家就聚在一起赏月吃月饼。今年中秋节我还去爸爸的食堂亲身体验了一下做月饼。虽然我做的不如叔叔阿姨好看，但是我学会了做月饼。

我喜欢中秋节，因为它是一个团圆的日子。
