summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too. so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

在台湾南部夏季非常热,温度会上升到32“c或更多。因为热,这是一个尝试体验上学或做任何其他的地方没有空调。也因为这个我呆在家里大部分时间在暑假期间,只是偶尔去海边自己陷入冰冷的水来保持我的身体不粘。实际上我喜欢游泳,认为没有什么比游泳更清爽。在刚刚结束的暑假,我和我的同学多次去游泳,我们都玩得很开心。这个暑假,然而,并非完全都在寻求乐趣。作为一个二年级的大四学生,我不得不准备自己的高考只是一年的时间。换句话说,我也必须找到时间学习。所以我分裂的时间工作和娱乐之间暑假期间和派生受益于这样的安排。

“姐姐，姐姐，跟我玩呀！”哎，弟弟老是玩也不是办法，我要给他来个“幼儿园学前启蒙教育”，当他的启蒙教师，培训一下他的英语。也许他的天资不够高，但只要他“笨鸟先飞”，说不定就会赶上别人的哦！

说起“启蒙教育”，我还真的挺自豪的，因为那些杯子、衣服之类的日常用品都是我教弟弟学会的，也算是“半个老师”。我本想教英语只要像了英语老师教我们那样，老师读一遍，学生跟着读一遍就学会了，没想到……哎，真是一波三折呀！

我拿来一块小黑板和几支彩色笔，让他坐着。“来，跟姐姐念‘A’。”“姐姐，我好渴，我要喝果汁。”“不行，你念会这个字母了，我就让你喝。”“哇……”（哭声）没办法，只好让他先喝个痛快了，喝完果汁他就会乖乖学吧，没想到他又要动我的作业本了，噼里啪啦……哎，太不乖了！

第二天，我又开始不厌其烦地教他，功夫不负有心人，终于有了进度。“来，跟姐姐念‘one’。”“one。”接着便是我的掌声了。在我的鼓励下，他学会“one”，“two”，“three”，“four”。只不过有时念“four”时会念错。（已经很不错了！）

没想到，当老师这么累，我不紧要教他知识，还得管他乖不乖，要不要喝茶。我现在终于知道老师的辛苦了。

这次我可是既教会弟弟英语又懂得老师的艰辛哟。在这里我也要奉劝各位淘气包们：不要再惹老师生气了，收敛一下吧！

Yesterday, I felt very tired. When I was in class, I felt sleepy and could not listen to the teacher carefully. And I did not want to eat anything at home. I went to bed early. This morning, I felt dizzy and my head was hot. My mom said I had a fever. She took me to see a doctor. He gave me some medicines and told me to have a good rest at home. It was not too serious. I hope I can be good soon.

昨天，我感到非常累。我在上课的时候，我就觉得困了，总是听不进老师讲课。在家里我不想吃任何东西，我早早地上床睡觉，今天早上，我感到头晕，而且我的头是热的。我妈妈说我发烧了。于是她带我去看医生，医生给了我开了一些药，并告诉我在家里有好好的休息。这是不是太严重了，我希望我能好起来。

在我的家中，有喜有悲。我的父亲是个十分严肃的人，做事一丝不苟。母亲的脾气不是很好，遇到一些难事总是发脾气，但特别关注我的成绩。

记得我上小学的时候，我总是上课走神，所以成绩也不是很理想的，就是上不去。母亲见了，也为我着急，先是自己手把手教我。可是因为我听课的问题，并不是特别理解母亲讲的题目，她给我讲了一遍又一遍，可我还是像之前那样，解不出题目。母亲是一个脾气暴躁的人，见我这么简单的题目都不会做，便开始对我发起了训斥的“枪林弹雨”，还使用棍棒教育。

父亲见了，便阻止了她，让我和他单独聊一会儿，他让我坐到了他的身边，和我一起分析原因。父亲问我是怎么回事，我便把上课走神的事情告诉父亲。他拍了拍我的肩膀，语重心长地对我说：“儿子，有时你母亲的脾气是不太好，但是你可以理解她，我们是一家人，我不希望家里因为你的学习而关系不好。有问题我们一起解决。”我对父亲点了点头，保证下次再也不上课走神了。于是父亲便把我带到书桌旁，一题一题地给我讲解，听不懂的让我说出来，他可以继续讲。经过父亲用心的指导，我今天学的内容也熟练了起来，在父亲教我题目的过程中，他一直没有不耐烦，虽然有许多讲过的我还是不会，但他又讲了一遍，直到我听懂为止。

有一次父母带我到香港玩，去了一个商场购物，他们逛自己的，我便独自看我所喜欢的。逛着逛着，我看到了一双十分帅气的篮球鞋，很想买，可是我的篮球鞋这么多，他们会帮我买吗？我便灵光一闪，得到了一个鬼点子，他们又不知道跑鞋和篮球鞋有什么区别，我何不骗他们一下，说这是一双跑鞋呢。我便打起了电话，让父母过来帮我买一下。过了一会儿，他们走了过来，我便让他们帮我买。父亲问我：“这鞋子是篮球鞋吗？”“不是，这就是一双普通的跑鞋。”我便忽悠父亲。

这时来了一位服务员笑着说：“小朋友，要不要试一下，这时最新款的篮球鞋。”我顿时崩溃了，不敢回头看父亲。父亲将手里的鞋子放在了一边，拉着我的手到了一个角落。我不敢抬头看父亲的眼睛，因为我知道我做错事了。但是父亲并没有责怪我，和我说：“孩子你要知道，我和你母亲不是不帮你买鞋子，是你鞋子实在太多了。”我点了点头，对父亲说：“我知道错了。”

现在我到了无锡来上学，只能假期与父母见面，但是他们对我的好我一直记在心中。
