Since school comes into being， the test standard has been used to appraise performance of students. So far it is still being used， which may suggest that actually there are some advantages in it. However， it is also highly possible that the test standard is a not ideal way to find out what students have learned and what they haven‘t. Most school is still using it just because there is no better method to replace it.

In my opinion， the following three points are the critical flaws in the test standard.One of the most harmful effects on the test method is that it will force us to study just for passing tests， not for acquiring knowledge especially in China. Obviously the final object of education is making us intellective by learning more knowledge. While the test is only a way to examine the level of students‘ studies， it has been deteriorated to a sifter deciding the fate of students. Why can it be called a terrible sifter? Now in the tests， which decide who can enter a higher school， thousands of poor students， who want a splendid future， must prepare for the tests by finishing a great deal of practices. Those practice tests are heavy-laden to them. So in this case， how can they be expected to study to obtain knowledge? To them that are enough if they can reach the level which tests need. In the end what our nation will get， genuine persons with ability or just test robots?Secondly， tests will bring the examinees great pressure， which can affect their lives. A typical example of this is that most young students have worn glasses even though some of them are still children. For preparing for tests， they must spend a lot of time on doing their homework so that their eyesight becomes worse and worse. And the more time they spend on those， the less time they have for playing and relaxing. Only in spare time and no pressure of tests existent， students can study simply for the fun， for obtaining knowledge and for the things that they are really interested in. But now the test system is the only way to select which one is better， who can reach better school and who can get good job. 书面表达历来是英语教学中一个难点，要想在限定的时间内写出一篇质量上乘的文章，非一日之功。纵观几年来的高考书面表达，我们可以看出，高考英语写作越来越重视情景的设置，要求考生总结自己的感受和见解，给出自己的观点。书面表达又是全面衡量学生英语综合水平的一种测试形式，因此，我们不得不重视。

第一步，写作的内容，要求做到两点— 内容完整、相关。这两点只要考生不粗心，基本都能做到。比如陕西考区的题目，要求写暑假的安排，是一篇正反观点类的议论文。必须注意题目的要求，第一要提出讨论话题，Recently there has been a heated discussion about what the students should do during the summer vacation.(这是一个经典的模版开篇句型)。第二要写出一方面的观点，然后是另一方面的观点，最后提出自己的看法，根据要求缺一不可，否则就会被扣掉相应的分数，这就是完整。再比如，2005年广东考区的成语寓言故事，不仅要描写整个守株待兔的过程，还应该根据要求点名寓意，否则也是不完整，这点只要在课堂上强调，学生是很容易做到的。所谓相关，也就是不要过多出现文中没有的信息，不能过分发挥，一般学生犯此类错误的较少。

第二步，写作中的语法。在阅卷中，一般三个小的语法错误会被扣掉一分，一个大的语法错误(关于谓语的错误)会被扣掉一分。所以，学生应该尽量避免犯语法错误。我在课堂中会强调，对于语法基础薄弱的同学，除了加强自己的语法功底外，就是去背诵我给出的50个最高频用到的句法结构。这些结构不仅正确，而且一定是高考中的有效得分点，即使语法偏弱，记住这些句子然后在考试中使用也能避免学生自己造句中的语法错误，一举两得。比如，倒装句在考试中就很少有同学主动启用，但是一旦正确启用就会收到意想不到的效果，所以我会给出四组倒装句，然后让学生加强运用和练习。这些句子包括：

1、Only when we realize the importance of environmental protection, can we solve the problem of pollution.

2、So precious is time that we can’t afford to waste it.

第三步，连接词的运用，使文章连贯、流畅。我把这些词分为8类，叫做“畅词”，往往学生由于中西方语言的差异，会忽视这一点，所以在授课中会通过大量的练习巩固和加强学生的印象。而且不仅要写，还写出高水平的畅词，因为高考是选拔性考试，要做到“人无我有,人有我优”。比如，“首先”这个表示次序的畅词，一般同学一定想到的是firstly 或者first of all。可是我建议学生启用to begin with, 或者initially (这个是建议水平较好的启用)。“然而”，绝大部分启用but, however，我建议学生采用on the contrary 或者oppositely。

第四步，也是整个课程的核心部分，要强化“复杂、高级”两个概念。为什么是核心呢?因为学生在这一部分没有正确的认识，在平时的学习中老师也没有有意识灌输和训练总结。大部分学生以为只要写出来、写正确就可以拿到高分，其实80-120个单词包括大概10个句子，如果全部是简单的词汇和句型没有办法达到最高档作文的要求。因此，我们强调高级的词汇和高级复杂的句型，不是说全部必须高级，而是必须出现一些才能符合高考作文大纲的要求。在这一步中，我总结的“高分词汇选择原则”、“简单句到复杂句的瞬间转换”、“高分句子写作策略”以及“钻石得分50句”，通过这些理论和实践结合的讲解，学生会感觉成绩的快速提升，效果明显。

Water Pollution

With the development of industry, water pollution is becoming more serious now. The polluted water not only kills fish, it is also harmful to our health. Many people get sick because they drink the polluted water. In some rivers the water is so dirty that they can even kill plants.

We should fight against the pollution. We should stop using harmful things. I wish it is not a dream that in the near future we can have clean rivers again.

Environment Protection

Nowadays, peoples life has changed a lot with the development of modern technology and economy, which has put lots of negative effects on the environment.

Why this? Because, firstly, some factories are pouring wastes into rivers, lakes, seas and so forth; secondly, because of human activities, a great number of plants and animals are losing their lives; thirdly, using modern machines and chemicals is bad for the environment. Our country has a large area of forest. However, not until recently did the government begin to realize the importance of protecting the forest. Pollution: a Social Problem

When we read newspapers, we often come across the word pollution. This word was not familiar to the people some decades ago. But now, it is a serious threat to usbecause. it means the poisoning of the air, seas, rivers and lands, which would do harm to our health.

There are many factories that bring pollution to us. We can not have fresh air in the morning. This is mainly because of the poisonous smoke coming from factories, especially chemical ones. In rivers, seas and oceans, there are industrial wastes. Some factories just throw their wastes into seas or let them flow into rivers. When people drink the water from such rivers, they get poisoned. Besides, there is rubbish from ships and when sometimes an accident occurs in an ocean, oil flows out from tankers.

On land, the accumulation of rubbish in the streets may dirty the city and ruin our health. This is mainly due to the improper disposal of rubbish by people.

If we do mot fight against pollution, surely one day all of us will be killed. Some people like to put the blame on the industrial revolutions. On the contrary, the pollution problem will be solved only with the help of modem science and technology.

一. 心理

古人云，不战而屈人之兵，很大程度上取决于心理因素。随着四六级考试改革的深入，会有，更新，更难的题目，包括作文题目出现，这样就要求我们有处惊不变的能力。即使是出现某种没有预料到的题型，考生也应该及时调整心态、从容不迫地应答。事实上，历史经验证明：题目要求越是高，难度越是大，考生的发挥余地也就越大。挑战和机遇是成正相关的。

二. 评分

知己知彼，百战不怠。熟悉老师的评分习惯，对于考生正常、甚至是超常发挥自身水平也十分有益。正常情况下，阅卷老师要领会贯彻考试规定的评分原则，依照文章的结构和语言水平进行评分。然而，除此以外，有“两个基本点”我们也需要给予足够的重视——闪光点和语法点。在一篇出类拔萃的范文中，我们往往可以看到像提问法、谚语总结法、从句、并列句、理由段公式、理由词汇、路线句型、插入语、名词化、和被动语态等等闪光点;而在一篇低分例文中，基本的语言错误则多得数不胜数。

三. 休息

考试迫在眉睫时，同学们往往容易进入一种临考状态。这种状态比较突出的表现是夜不能寐。尤其是在专业课和全国四六级考试纷至沓来的时候，很多同学更是发扬连续作战的精神，通宵达旦，头悬梁、锥刺骨。其实这对于像四六级考试这样的高强度考试而言是有百害而无一益的。道理很简单，四六级考试对于一个学生来说，不仅是一次英语水平的综合测试，也是一种意志力、甚至是体力的考验。没有良好的休息作为后盾，考生很难笑到最后。所以，保证充足的睡眠是最基本也是首要的应试技巧。

四. 营养

无庸置疑，营养的摄入在最后关头也是异常重要的一环。在保证充分睡眠的同时，食物是另一个“工夫在诗外”的客观因素。尤其是参加四级考试的同学，早餐一定要定时定量，不可或缺。一般来说，类似奶酪苏这样的奶制品外加一杯热牛奶或者热巧克力已经足以提供整个半天考试所需的热量，当然，这也因人而异。有些体质虚弱的同学也可以考虑服用一些如西洋参、鸡精这样的营养品。不过，安眠药等有副作用的药物一定要慎用，否则过犹不及。

五. 审题

磨刀不误砍柴工。在落笔前花两三分钟时间进行构思，既有利于理清行文思路、也避免了差之毫厘、失之千里的遗憾。尤其是在应对图表类作文时，我们更是要看清图表，牢牢把握各个数据的变化和相互关系，才能够下笔。否则张冠李戴，即使文章本身再不同凡响、语惊四座，也只会竹篮打水、甚至起到适得其反的效果。

六. 卷面

对于像作文这样的主观题而言，考生与阅卷老师从来就犹如搏弈，无形中彼此互动、相互影响。一个考生可以做的，首先是通过卷面给阅卷老师下意识地传达个人信息。用笔的颜色(深蓝色使人心情放松愉快)、粗细(粗线条给人以安全感)，整齐划一的格式(段首或一律顶格或一律空两格)，明了的段落感(每段空一行)，清晰的字数感(一行以十字为宜)，工整的字迹都会给任何阅读者留下深刻的正面印象，从而使考生先发制人、取得先机。

七. 结构

有始有终、首尾照应，是任何一篇好文章的基本标准之一，也是两大评分原则之一。如果说广大考生已经给第一段以足够重视的话，那么是不是大多数考生都意识到了理由段的条理和最后一段的呼应在全文中所具有的不可忽视的地位了呢?其实，要写好理由段，我们只需要注意表示启承转合的衔接词即可。而要写好结尾，最好的方法莫过于温故而知新，回顾第一段的大致内容了。

八. 表达

言之无文，行而不远。语言作为评分原则中的基本要素之一，在四六级作文评分的整个过程中具有决定性作用。有评分老师甚至断言：“It is not what you say, it is the way that you say it.”(重要的并不在于考生写了些什么，而在于考生是怎么表达的。)虽然这种说法本身似乎有失偏颇，可是参加过国际标准化英语考试的同学应该也听说过那么一句话，叫做：“Give the monkey exactly what he wants.”(给阅卷老师最想要的。)，不是吗?譬如同样是描述数据，一些同学拘泥于图表本身，动辄按部就班地引用图表上现成的数字和年代，其实这都是图表作文的忌讳。聪明的同学引而不用，他们常喜欢用倍数、分数、小数、百分比、或者一些动词(double / triple / quadruple)来表现极端数据，动态数据以及他们的相异之处。

九. 检查

行百里者半九十。一篇成功的作文少不了反复推敲、一再修改。然而，由于考试时间和条件等诸多因素的限制，考生绝对需要慎重对待作文的检查和修改。这里，我不得不提考生检查作文时的三大“通病”，即，数字数、孤芳自赏、和做结构与内容上的修改。我们必须明确：考试作文的润色和修改只需要达到三个目的即可：1. 拼写正确，看文章中是否有汉字、多余符号、糊乱涂改、划线、和错别字;2. 搭配正确;和3. 语法正确，特别是人称、时态、和单复数的三一致。

鲁迅先生说过，世界上本没有路，走的人多了也就成了路。我们要善于在学习实践中发现、总结和运用规律，这样才能够在复习迎考的过程中事半功倍，百尺竿头、更进一步。路漫漫其修远兮，愿以此文抛砖引玉。

1)做模版：拿几片范文，找几句比较拽的结构型句子，拼凑出一个你自己顺手的框架即可。不用到处找，也不用找很多，一个框架即可，当然，准备一些可以替换的词：比如recommendation替换conclusion.漂亮句子很多，但若水三千，我只掬一瓢饮。

2)找出主要的错误类型，每种写出一道两句经典的表述即可。

3)考时30分钟分三个阶段：一)12-15分钟，写出完整的第一段，三个征文段的topic sentence，和完整的末段。写第一段的同时就构思topicsentence,末段无非是重复结论和三句topic。这样的好处是结构已经完整了，你不用慌了。。二)13-10分钟，完成三段正文。我以前觉得这个很困难，后来想通了。无非是把这层意思说清楚就行。3句话就够了。也够长了。三)5分钟check.还一个作用时，是在前面没有完成，还有一个buffer,也不至于弹尽粮绝。

4)非常措施：考试万一时间不够，首段就抄原句;如果时间还不够，末段就cut-paste首段和topic 的文本，稍加修改即可。但是，结构是完整的。

5)ok作文法的精髓和适用范围：精髓：看上去很美。适用范围：不想得6分的人(因为想的6分的人追求的是实际上也很美。如果运气好，可以的5分，运气不好，可以的4分。

我吓的浑身哆嗦，开始回忆我以前学过的知识，但是墙上那钟表的嘀嗒声一直在困扰着我，我想起了这个，又因为滴答声，忘了那个，一直这样重复了几次。我有点不耐烦了，我心想算了吧？直接做吧！至少比干坐在这里，思考我以前学过的知识要好吧！我拿起了笔开始面对试卷，但是看到第一道题我就傻眼了，这道题要用原形和Ing进行式加到语句上面，但是在这道题目上，老师根本就没讲这种情况，这可怎么办呢？我无可奈何，只好拿出我的点兵点将大法，但是可惜这是道填空题我没能用上我的点兵点将大法，这使我脑袋都大了一号，没办法，我只好垂头丧气地往后做，可是越往后做我的心情就越烦躁，心情也就越忐忑，有很多题，明明在上课的时候，我都听到过，但是我就是一时想不起来了。

我心想算了吧，随便猜个答案都填上去吧！我真要这么做的时候，我却看到桌子上，不知谁用钢笔在上面刻了一句话，人可以被毁灭，但不能被打败，这一句话，可能是谁在上课的时候无聊随便刻的，但是他却成为了我这次考试的救命稻草，我转念一想，是啊，我不能被打败，我必须冷静下来尽自己的最大努力做下去，就这样时间又嘀嗒嘀嗒的过去了。不一会儿时间就到了，我垂头丧气的准备走上去交上试卷，但是我又想起了刚才可在桌子上那句话，就算我做的不好，我也要做出，我好像做得很好的样子，于是我马上抬头挺胸，挺着腰板走了上去。放学时我看到老师改完试卷才走，唉，才考了96分。

后来我把这件事情告诉了妈妈，本以为妈妈会大吵我一顿，但是她却夸奖我在关键的时刻没有放弃这一项做的很好。暂时一两次考试不好没什么关系，但是必须要在你受挫折的时候，坚强起来！坚持起来！那才是你该做的！

In most schools and colleges the examination is used as a chief means of deciding whether a student succeeds or fails in mastering a particular subject. Although it does the job quite efficiently， its side effects are also enormous.

The most undesirable effect is that examinations encourage bad study habits. As the examination score is the only criterion for his academic performance， a student is driven to memorize mechanically rather than to think creatively. Examinations do not motivate a student to seek more knowledge， but to restrict his reading; they do not enable him to study consistently throughout the semester， but to induce cramming during exam week.

Examinations also lower the standards of teaching. Since teachers themselves are often judged by examination results， they are often judged by examination results， they are reduced to training their students in exam techniques. And no subjects can be taught successfully merely through being approached with intent to take examinations.

Actually， few of us admit that examinations can contribute anything really important to the students academic development. If thats the case， why cant we make a change and devise something more efficient and reliable than examinations?

Firstly, we should never eat fried food or foods with lots of sugar because they are not good for health.Secondly, try to eat more vegetables and fruit.Because they can make us become much healthier.

My eating habits are good.For example, I often eat healthy foods, like wholemeal bread, eggs, vegetables and milk for breakfast and rice, noodles, and vegetables for dinner.

The US sub-prime mortgage crisis turns out to be a nightmare for the world economy.

Though it took shape in the United States, it has already resulted in adverse consequences forbanks and financial market around the world.

Affected by this crisis, the global economy was reduced to slowdown and last to date, and noone can see the bottom.

On the one hand, many companies just go bankrupt or have to tighten their budget andrecruit fewer employees.

Therefore, it is difficult for graduates to find a job.

Even if those graduates are employed, their salaries will accordingly affected by the recessedeconomy.

It never be explained why so many students on campus cheat in their examinations nowadays, regardless of the danger that teachers find their secret, as it did in the case of the boy student in the cartoon/photo above. What is conveyed in the drawing is most thought-provoking and should arouse our social concern.

The implied meaning of the picture is worth discussing. Firstly, the youngs always become quite illogical when they try to descide what can be done and what can not be done. In the light of this statement, some students are often willing to sacrifice their credibility for the privillage of getting more points and being regarded as outstanding students. Furthermore, some one is afired that he can‘t pass the final exams leading to his degree, in the fruit of being absorbed into computer games or disappointment in love.

Consequently, only by cheating can they graduate and get the degree on time. Although many reasons share the problem of this drawing, one of them can be singled out for recognition: the conditions of our sociaty. Such is human nature, that we can‘t avoid being influenced by environment. In short, the root of cheating in examinations and credibilililess on campus is combinition of many factors.

There is no blinding at the fact that, in dealing with a challenge on such scale, some strong, effective and necessary counter-measures should be put on our agenda. To the begin with, a widespread education campaign should be launched to make students realize the importance of credibility. What‘s more, the government departments at different levels and related orgnizations should make joint efforts and coordination of programs to creat a more credit environment for us. Only by this package deal, can build up a harmonious and healthy sociaty.

最近，我们全班进行了一次英语考试。大家心里一直提醒吊胆，生怕试卷发下来之后，自己考砸了。

终于，期盼已久的英语试卷出现了。上早自修时，英语王老师手里捧着一大叠试卷，点了几个成绩比较好的同学上去算分数了，我也在其中。我走上讲台，随手抽了一叠试卷，居然第一张就是我的，我迫不及待地算起了分数，一分，八分，七分，十分。我见了，手中的笔一下子掉落到了地上，整个人像是呆住了似的，一直站在那儿。过了许久，我才回过神来，继续算起了分数。十八分！我的心不由自主的慌张起来，顿时觉得脸冷冰冰的八十二分。我低声说道：我居然考了八十八分。顿时心情变得低落，把剩下的试卷随手一放，放到了讲台上。我垂头丧气的走到了座位上，低着个头，嘴里默默的读着八十二分，八十二分，八十二分

随后的大半天，我一直都坐在座位上，无论同学们怎么劝我，我都不理睬他们，我心中一直想着回到家里妈妈是如何的痛骂我，是如何的批评我，一想到这儿，我就忍不住起了一身冷汗。

一段轻松悦耳的预备铃响了，同学们都准备好了上课要用的课本，唯独我，还拿着一本英语书。楼老师来了，同桌提醒了我一下，我才反应过来现在是语文课了。我把头埋在语文书里，老师上课讲的是什么我都不知道，只看见楼老师的嘴巴就像鱼嘴巴一样一张一合的在动起来。

傍晚放学，一踏进行政楼，我的脚就变的沉重起来。走进办公室，我看见妈妈像往常一样坐在位子上，我走到她旁边低声地说：妈妈，我考了八十二分。不要紧，有什么关系。我听了觉得不大对头，怎么老妈变得温柔起来了。不过这下总算让我可以把心中的那块大石头放下来了。

是呀，妈妈说得对考砸了又有何妨，做人要做的乐观一些，不要因为一下小事而变得不愉快！

[英语考试考砸了作文

这次月考结束了，我觉得英语成绩不太理想。因为总分才127。5，而且还是加上附加分以后的成绩。自我很不满意，相信老师您也是吧！这次必须要好好反思自我到底哪里做得不好。最近我觉得自我的表现也比较差，A组的作文很少交，而且上课也不是很专心，总是和旁边的同学开小差，害得连旁边同学的成绩也一同退步了。背书那方面也不是很用心，记单词短语也马马虎虎，笔记抄了就算，也没有用心去记去背，所以导致这次月考的退步。

从试卷上分析，听力扣了2。5分，比以前都有进步。而单项选取、语法选取、完型填空这些题都是全对的。比较以前算是有很大的进步，因为之前做语法选取和完形填空总会错那么一两题。但阅读题失分就比较严重。错了三题，扣了6分。可能是考试时不够仔细，又比较焦急怕后面的题做不完，所以导致出现了错误。但是最糟糕的还是二卷的部分，作文满分十五分，自我竟然才得了八分。除了有点惊讶外，还有点后悔。后悔没有每一天写好Ａ组的日记，自我的语法错误又错得离谱。可能作文的资料还有点欠缺，而且我看高分的同学的作文字数都写好多，我的字数才她们的一半。所以才丢掉了这么多分。完成句子和单词填空这方面完成的也比较好，就因为完成句子没有注意时态被老师扣了分，虽然没有全对但相比前几次都是有所进步的。附加题部分就做得比较一般，才对了６个。做的时候不是很懂文章的意思，不会的那些都是乱选上去的，所以觉得完型填空这方面还是要多多加强练习才行。不然下次月考又又完型填空附加题，我就好吃亏了。

本人在今后的学习计划是继续坚持做阅读理解和努力背单词，争取能听写都能全对。保证以后认真落实每一个知识点，多点看笔记本和多记笔记里面的知识点，把此刻不会的都补回来，做阅读理解的时候再认真谨慎一点，在保证做题目的速度的同时也要保证正确率。有不会的知识点要及时问问同学或老师您，要及时解决当天课堂上的疑惑，写好课堂的反思，及时给您反馈意见。Ａ组作文要天天坚持写，就算再怎样样也得每个星期写几篇，作文写得太差，不写真的不能提高作文的分数。还有做好笔记，要及时抄，不能拖到回家的时候再抄。还有要整理和背好笔记，因为笔记真的挺重要的。上课必须务必要专心，坚决不和旁边的同学讲话或者开小差，不能影响别人同时自我又听不到老师您讲课。作业也要自我认认真真地写，不能因为一时的懒惰就去抄袭别人的作业。最后就是要在早读时大声并有感情帝朗读好英语，为听说考试做好准备。要好好对待英语，努力学好英语，时刻提醒自我英语需要进步。我不会让老师失望的。

languageis essential; language is what we use to communicate among others. it is something that joins us just as strongly as it separates us. There are many different “languages” in the world but really they are all bound by certain rules, they all have a format that they follow, all of them have nouns, verbs, tenses, and adjectives.

Language is almost like a math, the point of it is that when you speak, you try to reach a conclusion with a different person, and in math you use equations to solve problems and reach conclusions, one is numbers the other is words.

I have a lot of aspirations. But what I desire most is to have no examinations.

We are always told that examinations aim to check what we have learned. But I don‘t think so. Examination is not the best way‘, especially in the primary school. Examinations, composition examinations in particular, will bring students, teachers and parents a great deal of pressure. To cope with the examination, some students just remember the model essays by rote. It will do no good to the improvement of writing.

The students‘ scores can be measured by their daily in-clASS study and by the completion of their everyday homework. If we do in this way, all the students and teachers will have a pleasant time every day.
