Dropped in at National Library to see the National Book Exhibition which will close today. Suprised at the fact that so many kinds of books are published in our country. Thought the childrens books with many pages of colorful illustrations were made very nicely. Bought a copy of the Chinese version of English and American Short Stories at a 20 per cent discount. Am going to read this through in this good season for reading.

I believe Knowledge is power. I hope I can learn a lot from these books and improve my study. In the evening, my family had a big dinner party. All the members in my family wished me a good luck in the new year.

They were lovely and cute. They jumped from this tree to another tree which was about two meters away. That was amazing, wasn’t it? And then we watched an animal show. They danced like humans. A new year ,a new start, when I stand on the edge of the a new year, I can‘t help thinking about my plan of next year. Just as the old saying:“Well began is the half of the success.”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ,and then ,at the beginning ,I‘m quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others. 元旦期间，大街上，人们都打扮得花枝招展，来来往往。道路两旁的店铺门前，也挂起了红彤彤的代表节日的红灯笼，这时候的每一个角落，都充满着过节的那种特殊的喜庆气氛。当然，在学校里，一年一度的我们盼望已久的既有趣又隆重的元旦联欢会时少不了的。这不，今天总算盼来了。

今天，我赶到学校后，发现全班大部分同学都已经到齐了。我刚坐稳，联欢会就开始了。首先，由男女生各表演剧本《快乐王子》，他们那震耳欲聋、铿锵有力的声音响彻云霄，顿时，台下响起了阵阵喝彩声。接在由李嘉雪同学为我们演奏了优美的小提琴曲，我们听得走火入魔，回过神来，立即爆发出满场热烈的掌声和喝彩声。然后，王戎同学又为我们表演了精彩绝伦的吉他曲，我们同样如痴如醉，立马给予阵阵掌声。张仪同学又给我们弹奏了动听的琵琶曲，也一样令人着迷，一曲刚终，就获得同学们的满堂喝彩。紧接着就该我上台表演快板了。我登上讲台，略显紧张地开演了。我深吸了一口气，便开始背词，途中虽有一两个小小的停顿，但还是赢得了同学们大度地满堂掌声和叫好声。之后，智轩等同学为我们展示了悠悠球表演，只见悠悠球在线绳的控制下上下翻滚，犹如一只轻盈的蝴蝶风筝，而智轩等人，俨然就是一个悠悠球特技专业师嘛!对我们难如登天的动作，对他们却易如翻掌。表演结束后，也得到了羡慕的目光和疯狂的叫喊声。整个大会中欢笑不断，进行的非常顺利。其中还有好多同学登台献艺，但我在这儿就不一一列举了。

联欢会结束了。今晚我躺在床上，这样想道：联欢会带给了我的无穷欢乐，我会铭记在心。“啊，联欢会，我们喜欢你，喜欢你那带给我们数不尽的乐趣，我们永远期盼着你的再次到来!”

你瞧，教室里好一派节日气氛!远远望去就能看见五颜六色的彩带和灯笼，好看极了。

联欢会上，同学们表演了许多丰富多彩的节目。有的表演了优美的舞蹈，有的唱了动听的歌曲，有的表演了可笑的小品，还有的同学参加了有趣的活动。

使我最难忘的是踩气球游戏。我和明明是绿队，另两队是红队和黄队。我们一条腿被绑在一起，上面拴着一一只气球。比赛开始了!我对明明说：“先踩红，后踩黄!快!”我们迅速向红队移去，啪!哈哈!红队被干掉了。可是好景不长，只见黄人向我方移来，我们快速离开了，黄队看见到手的“肥肉”飞了，气得脸色发紫，向我方扑来。我们和黄队顿时踩成一团，倒了下去。我们又挣扎起来打斗。后来我们又再一次倒了下去，连我的眼镜也飞出去了!就在这里，我趁乱一抓，气球炸开了，我方终于胜利了!
