其次，便是学习上的挑战。有一些同学，遗憾自己未能录取到更好的高中，也总有一些同学，害怕自己不能够克服自己在弱势科目上的不足，害怕自己不能够提高自制力、静下心来学习。对于第一类同学，我想说的是，第一，是金子总会发光;第二，你们的同学即便是考上省内市内最好的中学，也不能保证他们三年后的未来会比你们更加美好。北京大学有一个叫朱苏力的教授，他对着他的学生说，“不要以为进了北大你们就会如何如何，不要以为你们进了北大就能成为谁谁谁，其实，陈独秀或胡适，鲁迅或毛泽东，他们一个都跟你们没关系……永远不要相信北大有什么神奇，除非你自己努力”。由此看来，没能够进入最好最顶尖的高中学习，与你的前途根本没有任何关系。越是聪明越要下笨功夫，只要你肯脚踏实地，埋头苦干，更何况，我们澄中也有那么深厚的文化积淀，也有那么浓郁的人文底蕴，也有那么优秀的教师团队。对于第二类同学，我想说的是，沉得住气是一种品德，也是一种力量。你们不要埋怨现在的考试制度，你们应该庆幸，庆幸高中的学习最重要的是最后一考，这对你们今后的人生会有些少许影响，而其他大大小小的考试，没考好，甚至是不及格也不要气馁，因为这些只是一个个练兵的机会。但它们也同样重要——可以检验你知识积累上的漏洞，可以提高你的自信，即便是没有考好，也可以帮助你克服畏惧感。这和人生来的陌生感一样，见一个陌生人一次，可能会畏惧，但当你见几次，几十次以后，这种畏惧感就会消失，而且在此间，你们可以积累更多的经验，正如学习上做题的经验等等。所以，你们应该把高中三年当成一个绝佳的竞技场，而不是仅仅畏惧现实，畏惧高考。我的意思是说，中考成绩不理想不要紧，关键在于我们能重整旗鼓，重新定位目标，重新出发，相信三年之后的你，一定会实现自己的理想，一定会有意外的惊喜!

而对于在座所有的同学来说，你们应该养成良好的学习习惯。总有同学抱怨说，很多学习成绩好的同学，学习非常轻松。我要告诉你们，这，仅仅是表象。高中三年这么多的必修、选修课程，这么多的科目，这么多的课本，谁也不能仅仅凭天赋就驾驭自如。你可曾知道，他们上课时即使不是坐得最端正，也总是专心致志，跟着老师的步伐一步一个脚印?你可曾知道，他们总会紧紧抓住课余的时间掌握零散的知识，这样便可以早点休息?所有的人只看到他们不开夜车，他们按时休息，却不知道他们制定学习计划并且按时完成，不知道他们及时查缺补漏，也不知道他们的笔记整理得有多么认真。有人说，人的差异在于业余时间;也有人说，优秀是一种习惯。良好的学习习惯，不仅有利于成绩的提高，更有利于身心的休息，这对大家的心理素质、特别是高三同学的心理素质来说，是多么重要，因为你认真做了，你做得好，是应该的，而你做不好，你尝试过了，却也无怨无悔，并且，还有一年的时间让你做得更好。
