Mothers Day Mother’s Day is a holiday when children honor their mothers with

Mother’s day at different times through out the year.

One of the best ways to celebrate Mother’s Day is to give your mom the day

dad and the kids will let mom sleep late that morning as they go into the

kitchen to prepare her favourite breakfast. Never forget to place a vase with a

single flower on the table beside the food. The kids can pick up the flower from

the garden or buy one from the shop. Arrange everything nicely before mom wakes

up. Some families will carry the food and mom’s favourite sections from the

newspaper to her bedroom so that mom can have breakfast in bed. Presents and

cards from the kids can be handed to mom by themselves or just placed on the

dining table.

After breakfast, go anywhere mom likes to go. Shopping, swimming or going on

a picnic in the garden. Make a special Mother’s Day dinner or take mom out for a

great meal in a famous restaurant she loves most.

Anyway ,let mom enjoy the whole day and feel your love, and then the Mother’s

Day can be a good one. As Mother’s Day is around the corner, it’s time to take

我以为我不会再微笑，在那个阴沉的下午，我用我的泪水肢解了我最后的笑容。风轻狂地刮着，粉红色的成绩单摇曳着，我最后的笑容已经随风飘逝，无处可归。我像一片伤残的落叶，在风的边缘处挣扎，一张小条子遮盖了我的全部，仕途确似黑暗吗，朦胧中来到文班。

或许十七岁的年纪应该没有这样的残酷。遥想当年的我，轻狂。一直都不是严格的好学生，叛逆的性格张牙舞爪。自初中以来，年纪稍长，自以为很有深度，不过是烂菜叶而已。高中以来，被分到不咋地的班级，更加的无法无天。现在来到文班，可能会垫底，更加可能会夺冠，因为我崛起了。

性格比较内向，不大说话，读书较多，但也没什么墨水。无聊时多爱乱画，曾经也学过绘画，本想报考艺术生，谁知爸妈极力反对，此事不了了之。一直惧怕学理，但又无可奈何，国人思想偏理，所谓“学好数理化，走遍全天下都不怕”，只好耐着性子慢慢啃读，谁知成效不大，成绩似乎是出奇的慢性子，始终不肯向前迈一步。当成绩单下来时，我的多彩的暑假已经消失的无影无踪，随之而来的是一整天的小骂，第二天我便寻觅这补课，逃出了家门。五科的狂补，暑假过的漫长，理化生仍止步不前，不得已只好转文，开始我新的生活。

或许十七岁的年纪本该如此，也许开始成熟的生命梦想缤纷，即便过着风下雨也要勇敢前进，相信一切都会平息，一切都会重新开始，一切将会充满希望，

个子比较高，据说是小时候龙牡壮骨颗粒的功劳，那是爸妈一桶一桶的往回买，造就了我1米8的个头，其实有人羡慕我个子高，但他们都是局外人。我并不觉得有莫大好处。比如说个高下楼都要碰头，我以被自家楼下的檐碰过了n次了。一回老家，都是旧时的木门，一不小心更会大碰不已。再说走在路上，还要时常担心暗处袭来的枝条在脸上划下，还有拍座位总是在后面。个高并不是错，只是不是时候，等以后再长高不行吗?

平时也多爱上网，衣带渐宽终不悔，为网消得人憔悴。当年热火黑客的高超技术，不料资质尚浅，在家中电脑中了n次病毒，请来n次维修人员之后，惨然淡出江湖。不是我胆怯，而是电脑维修期一到，再也不堪忍受那高额的费用了。

学习方面有些脸红，不太刻苦。平时有些懒，笔记虽有很多，但没有一本是写完的。在我愚昧的看来，大好青春只为学习而操劳，实在不忍。但时光如白驹过隙，两年后的人生巨槛正等着我跨越，所以我也要痛改前非，完成自己的使命。

english just as you build up english habits in your own language. to sum up, we

must bear in mind that nobody can learn to swim for you. nobody can learn to

play ball for you. nobody can learn english for you. its up to you. you must

learn for yourself and you will learn if you really want to and are willing to

透过窗户，看着日落。太阳慢慢从地平线消失，越来越少，越来越小。就像我的假期，也快结束了，开学在倒计时中慢慢迎来。

度过了自由自在、无拘无束的两个月，马上要迎来新的学期。不禁感叹道短暂的自由时光过得真快。转念想想，开学后又可以见到两个月未曾谋面的同学和老师，心里就有一丝兴奋。但是，即将投入紧张的学习状态，每天在题海里遨游，难得有个双休日也不能松口气，歇一歇，心里又添了些许焦虑。恋恋不舍的告别了两个月的假期生活，又埋怨时间为什么过得这么快。

六年的小学生活结束了，即将踏入中学。

中学，一个既陌生又熟悉的词，它蕴含着一丝神秘。曾经无数次思考着：中学生活会是什么样的呢？是紧张吗？还是别的什么？会和曾经的小学同学分到一个班吗？会认识新同学并成为朋友吗？上了中学以后学习成绩会和现在一样吗？是更好还是会下降呢？一切都是个未知数。

曾经也无数次幻想：迎着朝阳，走在上学的路上；踏着夕阳，走在回家的路上。清新的早晨，奔跑在校园的街头；温暖的午后，漫步在校园的小路上。初春的早晨，和同学们在操场嬉戏；夏天的傍晚，在校园的大树下排练节目；秋日的午后，在学校的椅子上看书；冬日的上午，和同学们在一起打雪仗、堆雪人……这些是多么惬意。

听大人们说，中学这个阶段很重要，要打好基础，以后学起来才不会累。曾经有一个学姐(她比我高一年级，很优秀，是个非常好的姐姐)对我说：“中学这个阶段很重要，一切要以学习为主，别的都是次要的。”学姐这番意味深长的话，使我有很大的感悟。谢谢你，学姐，那让我们一起加油吧！

我的竞选目标是文娱委员。实不相瞒，对这一最“高”级别的“文艺部长”一职我是垂涎已久，因此，我今天走上讲台，不是凑凑热闹，而是有备而来。我自信，我的竞争优势是无人能比的。?

我曾在小学和初中阶段长期担任班级文娱委员，有着“从政”的丰富经验。记得在小学三年级时，为迎接我县撤县建市，学校要求每班出几个节目。我组织全班同学积极投入，排演了大合唱《让我们荡起双桨》和小品《爷爷，过年了》，赢得了一致好评，我也因此而获得“最佳小导演”称号。初中阶段，我所组织的“诗朗诵”活动获学校评选的一等奖。好汉莫提当年勇，而今勇气胜当年。当然，会唱歌不一定就能当好文娱委员。那么下面就请各位听听如果我当上文娱委员将采取的几大措施。我将在竞选成功后发表就职演说的第二天，在教室后墙上开辟一块“歌迷影迷园地”，及时向大家报道歌坛、影坛新动态、新信息，介绍歌星、影星的轶闻趣事。我将在重要的节曰里，组织主题鲜明、风格独特的联欢晚会，让大家尽情尽兴，以松弛一下平时绷得过紧的神经，调剂我们紧张的学习生活。我还会不定期地在课间搞个“轻松五分钟”，或让未来歌星过把瘾，或让准笑星幽他一默，或设计几个“斯芬克斯之谜”让大家有奖竞猜。如果条件允许，我还准备搞个小型的“文艺沙龙”，不定期地切磋艺事。并且每隔一段时间就交换一下各自的磁带、影碟什么的，实行“资源共享”。我将定期召开学生代表会议，及时反映对班级“文化生活”的意见，并根据合理的意见不断改进工作。?

只见大家都排着井然有序的队伍，迈着整齐的步伐，等候着校领导的指示。即使作为新生本也不甘示弱的同学们，此刻却感到有些茫然了，环顾四周，一切也都是陌生的，好像无头苍蝇般做些许要做的事去。手足无措的同时也感到有些忐忑，带着微微凌乱的步子，走向礼堂。或许一些男生喜欢嬉戏玩耍，全然没有考虑等待他们的是什么。

沿着楼梯缓缓而下，映入眼帘的便是礼堂了。礼堂呈长方形，刚好容下校师生，讲台设在最前头，讲台上方，悬挂着横幅，上面赫然有着“开学典礼”四字。抬头上望，高高的房梁上挂着许些优秀学生的照片。透过树梢间的缝隙，投进两三束斜斜的阳光，映着枝叶婆娑，倒平添了几分生动、活泼。

进入礼堂，新生们纵使各怀心事，也暂且揣进兜里，忽略不计。大家找着位子，无论是向前、还是后退、或者靠右等等，虽然重复不断的样子让大家不免烦躁，但是除了徐徐颦蹙以外也没有其他办法。接着，响起了校园广播播放的声音。自然是因为校长开始了他的长篇大论。此时，讲起了学校的大致情况，新生们从开始的一脸不屑到慢慢坐直了身子，瞪大了眼并竖起了耳，始终聆听着校长的演讲。也许是被校长抑扬顿挫的演讲所吸引吧？

大家坐好了以后，原本宽广的礼堂显得狭小起来。校长宣布典礼开始了，与缓缓而至的和风相伴，将同学们烦躁的心，不着痕迹得抚平。讲到校规，“不能擅自修改校服”“不能叫外卖”“不能披头散发”“不能带手机”“不能化妆”等规定让新生们表面平静，可咬紧的唇，紧蹙的眉，因握紧手而微泛白的指关节，却出卖了他们的踧踖、慌乱。颁奖在上学期中取得优异成绩的均上台领奖，台下的人们眼中都充满了羡慕、骄傲。讲到了学校历年来高考的丰功伟绩，同学们顿时油然出一种“今日我以中学为荣，明日中学以我为荣”的骄傲和自信。校长的一番话，将众人心中的最后一丝阴霾驱散，取之的是一抹飞扬的自信。几小时的时光，一晃而过。

最后，校长宣布典礼结束了，新生们神情恍惚，坐着不动，似是仍在回味思索中。不过很快释然了，挺直腰板，带着自信沉稳的步伐回归教室。是啊，人生处处无不希望。

The Dragon Boat Festival， also called Double Fifth Festival， is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth moon of the lunar calendar. It is one of the most important Chinese festivals，the other two being the Autumn Moon Festival and Chinese New Year.

The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man，but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfavor in the emperors court.

Unable to regain the respect of the emperor，in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan， the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.

Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan，their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.
