我们的春节是中国人一年中的第一个传统佳节，它标志旧的一年结束，新的一年已经开始。年夜饭，是春节的重要活动之一，中国的百姓家庭对年夜饭极为重视。正月初二，我和爸爸妈妈一起到奶奶家吃年夜饭。

在今天来的人特别多，奶奶家显得格外热闹，年味超浓。姑姑、叔叔和我爸爸正聊得热火重天。他们边嗑瓜子，边滔滔不绝的聊着各种话题。表哥和嫂子在房间里逗小baby开心，看着小宝贝的笑脸，他们别提有多开心了。而我和俩位表姐则更是“肆无忌惮”了。我们三人盘腿坐在沙发上，悠闲自得地玩着ipad上的割绳子，时不时传出一阵阵爽朗的笑声。

又过了一会儿，奶奶慈祥地把我们带进房间，塞给我们每人一个印着“马”的红包，我们接过红包，笑盈盈的谢谢奶奶。

When I was very small, I was so envious about the adults, because they could do whatever they wanted and did not have to depend on their parents. 一、适应环境。

初中到高中，是个大的台阶，这一次月考，最困惑不过的，首先是那些初中学习尖子而这次成绩不佳的同学。如果要找原因的话，我认为，排在第一位的，是对高中学习生活的适应。换句话说，这次成绩的优劣，很大程度上是高中生活适应程度的差异。

从初中到高中，首先面临的是两个转变：一是角色转变。当你一进高中，不论你是否意识到，你已经是一个家庭、社会范围的中心。当你从一万五名初中毕业生中走出来时，肩上立刻多了一份沉甸甸的期望和责任，那就是必须考大学，必须考好大学。但是我们录取的新生和周围所有县市高中相比，分数线都低几十分。家庭和社会的期望是相同的，三年后的竞技水平是一样的，要立于不败、后来居上，我们的光阴更迫，压力更大。这就要求必须尽快完成“树立远大理想，考入理想大学，三年成才，不留后路”的心理角色定位。一方面学校要求很严，一方面自己有升学后放松一下的意识，这种角色错位实在是高一最可怕的敌人。二是方法的转变。参加过中考，尤其是取得较好入学成绩的同学，可能会认为自己已经有了一套行之有效的学习方法，高中照猫画虎就行了。殊不知，初中复习迎考的那些方法，不仅不适应将来社会对人才的素质需求，连高考、进行高中课程的学习都可能很困难。因为那些所谓的方法很大程度上是老师包办的方法，是一种读死书的方法，是一种以接受为特征的方法。因而，通过这次期考、反思进而寻求科学高效的学习方法，学会学习，学会自学，也是一个刻不容缓的问题。达尔文说：“最有价值的知识是关于方法的知识”。

二、培养良好的个性习惯。

“良好的个性习惯是成才的决定性因素”，这句话，同学们已耳熟能祥。按这句话，可把同学们分成三类：一是信奉它，这已经创造出许多成功者，如杜宏伟、王艳君、姚灿等;二是不以为然，相信智力。但据报载，一位资深教育家经长期调查发现，约有三成高智商的学生是差生。在西安市某一高中班内，成绩最差的学生智商是120。他发现，几乎从未有过因智力因素而影响到学习的例证。事实上，世界上公认的天才儿童的定义是：“智商中等以上，加上刻苦学习，顽强拚博，具有创新能力者”。可见，智力只是有些人用来自暴自弃的一个理由。三是半信半疑，由于看不到身边的榜样，所以三天打鱼，两天晒网。学校要求教室课间不说话，有用吗?北京市二十二中孙维刚老师的班，一天到晚二十四小时无一人说话，他的班仅北大清华就升入55%;山东牟平一中，两千多人住宿，没有一个管理人员，被子从来叠得有棱有角，整整齐齐，物品干干净净，升学率仅本科占98%;河北衡水中学，单是门岗就对学生有如下要求：不准让家长送饭及一切水果零食;不准送衣物被褥;不准送药。其升学率100%，一千人高考仅重点677人，一半还多。有没有个体的例子呢?差生张春风，从班内46名考入北大，自己营造了一种境界，“埋头、素服、三缄口”。因此，个性习惯与成才是必然的因果关系，所差的只是你是去努力做到了，还是让别人看着做到了，还是别人看着也做不到。

二 我自豪的认为六中是学生成材的宝地。

有目共睹，我校在过去的六年里取得了高考六连胜的伟大业绩。我们有理由自豪，因为这在全县高中是绝无仅有的!众所周知，由于多方面的原因，我们的生源有限，生源基础并不很好。但为什么能取得如此骄人的成绩呢?归结起来，这得益于学校的正确领导和师生的奋力拼搏。过去的四年，我一直和同志们战斗在高三第一线，切身体会到了领导们精益求精的管理，目睹了老师们孜孜不倦的努力。而这奋斗，已经成为了六中人的一种习惯。我可以负责的说，多年的磨砺成长，我校绝大部分老师，已经是有过多年高三教育教学经验的教师，已经足以为大家的高考胜利保驾护航!六中的老师也在为学生的全面成长不断探索。

是啊，人往高处走，水往低处流。可我心目中的高处，向来不是繁华的都市，丰厚的薪水，而是贴心的领导班子，良好的人际氛围，团结务实的团队。在这里，我找到了。不是没有彷徨，不是没有向往，不是不爱外面的世界。面对学生英语基础难以想象的薄弱和潮水般的教学任务，我也一度畏难，灰心，想逃离。可挣扎过后，看到学生一双双求知若渴的眼睛，听到学生对我的信任鼓励，触摸内心，我发现，帮助学生进步是我的职责，我无路可退!是啊，教学是我的最爱，站在哪里的讲台，面对怎样的基础，我的教学热情，都不会消退。既然六中给了我那么多栽培与信任，那么我必须以百倍的信心投入工作，为续写六中的辉煌努力!同学们，这也是所有老师的心声啊。

Nowadays some people tend to think that they own beauty if they have a good

looking. They are not satisfied with their appearance. They spend much money

The 15-Day Celebration of Chinese New Year

The first day of the Lunar New Year is the welcoming of the gods of the heavens and earth.Many people abstain from meat on the first day of the new year because it is believed that this will ensure long and happy lives for them.

On the second day, the Chinese pray to their ancestors as well as to all the gods. They are extra kind to dogs and feed them well as it is believed that the second day is the birthday of all dogs.

The third and fourth days are for the sons-in-laws to pay respect to their parents-in-law.

The fifth day is called Po Woo. On that day people stay home to welcome the God of Wealth. No one visits families and friends on the fifth day because it will bring both parties bad luck.

On the sixth to the 10th day, the Chinese visit their relatives and friends freely. They also visit the temples to pray for good fortune and health.

The seventh day of the New Year is the day for farmers to display their produce. These farmers make a drink from seven types of vegetables to celebrate the occasion. The seventh day is also considered the birthday of human beings. Noodles are eaten to promote longevity and raw fish for success.

My mother has no idea that her ninetieth birthday is coming up. She has no notion of the time of day, the day of the week. the season of the year, the year of the century. No notion of the approaching millennium. And no idea any longer, who I am. Her forgetting of me happened just a few months ago, after I had been traveling for more than a month and hadnt been to see her. When I came back, she asked me if I were her niece, l said no, I was her daughter. "Does that mean I had you?" she asked. 1 said yes. "Where was I when l had you?" she asked me. I told her she was in a hospital in Far Rockaway. New York. "So much has happened to me in my life." she said "You cant expect me to remember everything."

My mother was once a beautiful woman, but all her teeth are gone now. Toothless. No woman can be considered beautiful. Whenever I visit her in the nursing home, she is sitting at the table in the common dining room, her head in her hands, rocking. Medication has eased her anxiety, but nothing moves her from her stupor except occasional moments of fear, too deep for medication. This fills me with a terrible tenderness, recalling, as it does. a gesture I have performed for my children. As I wipe my mothers face, I see that her skin is still beautiful I hold her chin in my hand and kiss her forehead. I tell her its her birthday, that shes ninety years old. "How did that happen?" she asks. "I cant understand how that could happen."

l have brought her a bouquet of crimson, yellow, and salmon-pink snapdragons. She likes the flowers very much. She likes the name. "Snapdragons. It seems like an animal thats going to bite inc. But its not an animal, its a plant. Thats a funny thing,"
