I had a great time throughout my may day holiday.

On monday, i went bbq with my classmates who threw a celebration party at our middle school principles flat. our parents were invited to the party. everybody was excited about the holiday. i ate a lot of delicious food at that time.

On tuesday, i went visiting my uncles family with my parents. we went to celebrate our good time at a fancy restaurant in shanghai. later that day, we sang karaoke in my uncles house. we stayed for the night.

On wednesday, i went shopping with my cousins. we bought some brand name t-shirts and pants. in the afternoon, my cousins gave me a fun ride on the city highway. they also taught me how to drive their fancy car, so i tried to do some turning and parking. it was not easy first. but i learnt quick.

on thursday, we returned home with many gifts from our trip. i tried to get some rest. at night, i chatted with my classmates on the phone, and i watched cctv before going to bed.

From friday on, i started to finish up my homework assignments on my personal laptop. some of my assignments were quite boring. after i finished the homework, i emailed them to my teachers. that was the end of it. i started to prepare things for school on this coming monday.

I got up early this morning because my parents and their friends were going to have a conducted tour today with me.

At first we got to ChongQing by cars because we would take a nonstop flight from ChongQing to GuiLing. We saw the white cloud in the plane, and it was like the Cotton. My uncle got his mobile phone out of his bag to take photos of the cloud.

We got off the plane around noon, and we saw our tourist guide who was thin and tall. There was a sculpture in front of the airport and it looked like three fishes. That symbolized Li River.

After lunch, we visited Seven-Star Park. Our tourist guide said, “Seven-Star Park is the most beautiful place in GuiLing. There is an interesting mountain. It’s like an elephant drinking water in the river.”

But it was so hot. The sunshine was too dazzling for me to open the eyes. We had to go back to the car.

I’m not so happy today. But I think it’s just a beginning. I’ll be happier tomorrow than today.

Yesterday, my parents were not home. And I had to stay at home by myself for one day and one night. I was very happy at first, because there wouldnt be anyone criticizes my behavior. I can do whatever I want. But later I felt desperate. There was nobody cook for me, asked me to do things or criticized me. I felt empty and desperate as the house is only me. When the night fell, I was afraid. The computer games or the cartoons couldn’t attract my attention. I hate living alone.

Marcel Hirscher continued his dominant start to the alpine skiing World Cup season with yet more milestones on Sunday.

The Austrian, seeking an unprecedented fifth consecutive overall title, became the first man to win three successive giant slalom races at the Alta Badia venue, in Italys Dolomite mountains.

He claimed the World Cup lead from Aksel Lund Svindal, moving 20 points ahead of the Norwegian -- who was 28th, following his two speed-event wins in preceding days at nearby Val Gardena.

Hirscher claimed his fourth victory this season, and his third in giant slalom -- a technical discipline where he already leads by 134 points after only four rounds.

He was 0.19 seconds ahead of Norways Henrik Kristoffersen after the two runs, while Frances Victor Muffat-Jeandet was third.

"I skied at my 100% limit in the second run," Hirscher said after the 35th win of his career put him one behind sixth-placed compatriot Benjamin Raich in the all-time standings.

"It was difficult snow, not as icy as were used to here in Alta Badia and I think that Henrik skied a smoother run, but I gave it all my power and in the end I am really happy to come away with the win."

It seems to me that many readers’ English reading experience starts with Jane Eyer. I am of no exception. As we refer to the movie “Jane Eyer”, it is not surprising to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally.

Jane Eyer was a born resister, whose parents went off when she was very young, and her aunt，the only relative she had，treated her as badly as a ragtag. while fear of death is universal, my worry about death is so overwhelming that there is not a moment passing without my thinking of it. i never bring this up with any other, just because no one will ever realize the seriousness of this problem. i know it very clearly that as long as there is life, there will be death. in addition, though i am still so far away from death, i have been plagued by the thought of it for years. fortunately, the root of my fear of death lies in my overzealous love for life. i am too timid to think of the end of life, when every worldly affair should be thrown away. how can i carry on without friendship, affection, and joy of being alive? i really hate to leave all these behind. to ease my worry about death, i should make the fullest use of this life i now possess. concentration on this life can at least temporally make me forget about death. as a matter of fact, i really don＇t need to worry so much about death, for i already have too much to worry about this life.

the pollution gets from bad to worse, because of the increasing number of

private cars. Especially during the rush hours, too many private vehicles move

pollution. Therefore, it’s demanded that immediate and effective measures must

be taken to restrict private cars and public transportation must be developed to
