写作是对同学们英语综合能力的考查，是最能体现大家英语水平的一种检测方式。学生在写作的过程当中经常会暴露一些弱点、犯一些错误。今天，我们对大家英语作文中的常见错误进行简要归纳，并举以实例，大家在今后的英语写作中要尽量避免这些错误的发生。

一.名词

写作中，学生们常把握不好名词的数、所有格以及一些集合名词的用法。

1.Hegavemeaverygoodadviceyesterday.

句中的a要去掉，因为advice是不可数名词。一些汉语概念为可数的词在英语中却是不可数的，表示数量时在要其前加apieceof，类似的词有：news,bread,work,paper,chalk,furniture,information等等。

2.Thatgirllovesreadingbook.

可数名词单数不能孤零零地放在句子里，或前面加冠词，或将其变为复数。此处最好变为books.

3.Hewentintoabooksshopandboughtadictionary.

一般表示有生命的东西的名词的所有格用’s，如mymother’scar,而此处适宜用名词修饰名词，改为abookshop.

4.MyfamilyiswatchingTV.

一些集合名词如看成一个整体，则用单数的谓语动词，如Myfamilyisahappyone.如果强调集合中每个个体的个人行为，则用复数的谓语动词。此处看电视是个体行为，应把is改为are。类似的词有：team,class,audience等。

5.Iboughtsomepotatosandtomatosatthesupermarket.

中学阶段，以“o”结尾的名词中有四个词变复数时要加es，它们是tomato,potato,Negro,hero;其余的都加s变为复数。

6.Thishasnothingtodowiththeirbelieves.（这和他们的信仰没关系。）

以f,fe结尾的词变为复数时一般去f,fe加ves，如knife—knives,

thief—thieves;而roof和belief直接加s变为复数。所以应把believes改为beliefs.

二.冠词

7.Thebosswantstohireanusefulperson.

用a还是an，取决于后面单词音标中的第一个音，如为元音用an，为辅音用a。useful的第一个音是辅音所以应把an改为a。类似的，我们说aEuropeancountry.

8.Planeisamachinethatcanfly.

plane为可数名词单数，不能单独放在句中，应在其前加冠词或把它变为复数，而本句后有amachine,因此只能在其前面加a，变为Aplane。

9.Heplayedapianoatthepartyyesterday.

把a改为the，因为乐器前用定冠词。

10.Themachinewasinventedin1920s.

在in后加the，因为表示年代用in加the再加几十的复数，如在八十年代inthe80s。

11.XiaoHongwenttoschoolbythebuseveryday.

去掉the，因为表示交通方式用by直接加交通工具。

三.代词

使用代词时请注意其单、复数，主、宾格以及形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词的用法。

12.Heisoneofthosespeakerswhomakehisideasperfectlyclear.

定语从句的先行词是thosespeakers，为复数，因此从句中的指示代词应为复数，应把his改为their。

13.Whomdoyouthinkhasleftthelightson?

放在疑问句特殊疑问词后的doyouthink/believe/guess/imagine/suppose等都不参与句子成分。本句中去掉doyouthink后缺的是主语，应把Whom改为Who。

14.ThebosspretendednottoseeJohnandI.

John和I在句中都做的宾语，应把I改为me。

15.Thesebooksaremine；thoseinthebagareher.

her是形容词性物主代词，后面应该加名词books，或把her改为hers。

四.数词

16.Therearefourteenhundredsstudentsinourschool.

hundred/thousand/million/score/dozen等词前有具体数字时后不加s，前面没有具体数字时在其后加s和of，表示大约几百几千的概念。如two

hundredstudents（两百个学生），hundredsofstudents（成百上千个学生）。例句中应把hundreds改为hundred。

17.Theirschoolistwiceaslargerasourschool.

表倍数关系的as...as中间只能用形容词或副词的原级。因此应把larger改为large.

18.Today’shomeworkisafive-hundred-wordscomposition.

几个单词由连字符连接而组成的复合形容词中的名词只能用单数，所以把five-hundred-words改为five-hundred-word.

19.TwothirdofthestudentsinourschoolarefromAmerica.

英语表达中分数的分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分子大于一时分母后要加s，所以就把third改为thirds.

五.形容词和副词

形容词和副词容易被误用，形容词和副词的比较级和最高级也是应注意的重点。

20.Thepatientappearednervouslywhenhetalkedtothedoctor.

appear在此是个系动词，其后应接形容词作表语。所以应把nervously改为nervous.

21.Theartistworkedhardlytofinishhisdrawingsontime.

此句需要一个副词来修饰，hardly是副词，但意为“几乎不”，hard也可以是副词，表努力，因此把hardly改为hard.

22.Thisshirtismorecheaperthanthatone.

more只构成比较级，而不能修饰比较级。因此把more去掉。

23.Heisthemostsuccessfulofthetwobusinessmen.

两者相比较时，比较级前用定冠词，三者或三者以上才用most，因此把most改为more.

24.Heworkslessharderthanheusedto.

表不如?...时用less加上形容词和副词的原级，因此把harder改为hard.

25.Thebookisfairlymoreinterestingthanthatone.

fairly只能修饰形容词和副词的原级，可以修饰比较级的副词或短语有：much,even,still,far,alot,alittle,abit,any,no,byfar,rather等，因此把fairly改为rather.

26.Thisisasaninterestingastoryastheoneinthemagazine.

as?as中间的词序是as加上形容词加上a(n)加上名词再加上as，因此应改为asinterestingastoryastheone.

27.Theweatherhereisnicerthan.

同样的事物才能相比较，weather和不具有可比性，因此应改为Theweatherhereisnicerthanthatof.

29.Iwouldrathertakeatrainthanwentbybus.

这个词组为wouldratherdo?thando?，因此把went改为go.

30.Isthereinterestinganythingatthemeeting?

修饰anything,something,everything,nothing的形容词都要放在它们的后面。

31.Ineverhaveseensuchapersonbefore.

像never之类的副词在句中应放在be动词、助动词之后，实意动词之前。因为应改为Ihaveneverseensuchapersonbefore.

32.Thebookisworthtoberead.

beworthdoing意为值得被做。因此改为Thebookisworthreading.

33.Itissurethathewillsucceed.

sure的主语只能为人，而certain的主语可为人和物。因此把sure改为certain.

34.Heisregardedasoneofthebestalivewritersatpresent.

alive为表语形容词，偶尔也做后置定语。因此把alive改为living，或把alive放在writers后面。

35.Idon’tknowthathehasfinishedtheworkyet.

yet用于否定和疑问句，already用于肯定句。把yet改为already.

36.Hesaidnearlynothingatthemeeting.

nearly不与否定词用在同一个句子中，而almost可以。因此把nearly改为almost。

六.介词

by加上名词表示一种交通方式，中间什么都不加，如bycar,bybus,byplane等；如果名词前有其他的词修饰，则应用除by以外的其他介词，此处把by改为in.

wait为不及物动词，需加介词for后才能再跟名词或代词做宾语。

marry不跟with连用，应把with改为to。

原来是这样啊，我果然没猜错。此时，眼前这个身穿白色衬衫，鼻梁上架着一副黑色眼镜的忠厚长者，已不是开学时我所认为的那么矮小，那么一无是处了。我对王老师从此心生敬意，一直将他当坐我最好的老师。

如今，王老师已经快退休了。没当我在茶余饭后，仰面躺在沙发上小憩时，眼前总是会一如既往地浮现出那个精神饱满，满脸红光的壮年人的影子，他带给我的是比知识更宝贵的做人的道理。如果我现在还懂些文明礼仪，还有些助人为乐，还崇尚社会公德，那全都是他给予我的，是的，因为有他。

在此，请允许我讲三句心里话：

一 我深深的觉得六中是教师成长的摇篮。

六中的老师，有着工作的激情和创业的豪情。这是一种氛围，是个大熔炉。六年前踏进这座校园，我就感到了作为六中人的使命和压力。也是在它的鞭策下，六年来我取得了一个又一个的进步。虽是点滴，但从没止步!六中的领导，有着栽培教师的长远目光。今年暑假，在学校资金有限的情况下，学校不惜重金，送罗惠老师和我参加加拿大皇家国际学院举办的国际英语教师资格证培训，使我们感受了异国文化，开阔了眼界，拓宽了教育教学思维，也必将激发我们探索教学新法的热情。

二 我自豪的认为六中是学生成材的宝地。

有目共睹，我校在过去的六年里取得了高考六连胜的伟大业绩。我们有理由自豪，因为这在全县高中是绝无仅有的!众所周知，由于多方面的原因，我们的生源有限，生源基础并不很好。但为什么能取得如此骄人的成绩呢?归结起来，这得益于学校的正确领导和师生的奋力拼搏。过去的四年，我一直和同志们战斗在高三第一线，切身体会到了领导们精益求精的管理，目睹了老师们孜孜不倦的努力。而这奋斗，已经成为了六中人的一种习惯。我可以负责的说，多年的磨砺成长，我校绝大部分老师，已经是有过多年高三教育教学经验的教师，已经足以为大家的高考胜利保驾护航!六中的老师也在为学生的全面成长不断探索。

三 我坦率的告诉大家我爱六中，我爱教育教学，我要扎根六中干成绩。

是啊，人往高处走，水往低处流。可我心目中的高处，向来不是繁华的都市，丰厚的薪水，而是贴心的领导班子，良好的人际氛围，团结务实的团队。在这里，我找到了。不是没有彷徨，不是没有向往，不是不爱外面的世界。面对学生英语基础难以想象的薄弱和潮水般的教学任务，我也一度畏难，灰心，想逃离。可挣扎过后，看到学生一双双求知若渴的眼睛，听到学生对我的信任鼓励，触摸内心，我发现，帮助学生进步是我的职责，我无路可退!是啊，教学是我的最爱，站在哪里的讲台，面对怎样的基础，我的教学热情，都不会消退。既然六中给了我那么多栽培与信任，那么我必须以百倍的信心投入工作，为续写六中的辉煌努力!同学们，这也是所有老师的心声啊。

秋风送爽，大地流金。在这美好的日子里，我们又迎来了新的学年。今天在这里隆重举行开学典礼，标志着我们宜良一中踏着胜利的步伐又将开始新的征程。首先，我代表学校，对新招考的14名新老师和刚入学的1100余名新同学表示热烈的欢迎!对部队教官的刻苦训练表示崇高的敬意!对各位家长的支持表示衷心的感谢!向辛勤耕耘、默默奉献的全体教职工和努力学习的全体同学致以亲切的问候和美好的祝愿!

在刚刚过去的学年里，我们在县委、政府和社会各界人士的关心支持下，全校师生齐心协力，开拓进取，努力拼搏，取得了可喜的成绩。建立了大成教育坐标系，横轴是中华文化的精华，纵轴是西方文明的精髓，在一象限里成长着五大四成的一中学子。建立了大成教育一体两翼的教育理念，大成科技和大成文化就是一中大成教育的两只翅膀，继承和发扬东西方优秀的科技成果和文化成果是大成教育的途径和方法，通过这种方法培养出“胸怀大梦，饱含大爱，担当大任，展示大智，走向大和”的具有国际视野又有本土化实践能力的“成长成才成人成功”的现代人，幸福的人。教师的培训工作、导学案编制顺利完成，示范班取得了好成绩，大成教育稳步推进。学校荣获宜良县教育局校本培训先进奖，2011年终考核学校党总支被评为县先进基层党组织、昆明市创先争优党建示范点。

学校以教学为中心，强化质量核心，实现了教学质量的稳步提高。在今年的高考中，我校高考上线率100%，有97位同学上一本线，本科率达80.3%，三项指标均为近十年最高指标。

学校积极推进大成教育，全面提高学生综合素质。先后成功举办了大成科技节、大成文化节等活动，参加了昆明市航模比赛，获9金7银11铜，分获男子、女子团体赛第一名，奖牌数超过昆明市奖牌总数的一半。参加宜良县第十八届届中小学生田径运动会，团体总分获第二名。参加宜良县2011年第十八届中小学生艺术节合唱比赛，获一等奖。

学校进一步完善校园文化建设，教学楼连廊建起了大成言像走廊、大成传统文化走廊，在田径场周围建成大成文化长廊，大成教育理念长廊，生肖长廊，请进了孔子圣像。绿化工程基本完工，现在正进行美化，大学篇即将在教师节揭幕，荒坡荒地的出让将为美化提供加速度，我们要通过全校师生的共同努力，将一中打造成绿色环保学校，生态学校。

学校认真学习传统文化，先后组织教师到昆明、丘北、成都、南京学习中华传统美德，8月10日——13日，全校教职工到昆明连云宾馆参加了云南省第二届传统美德的学习，同时高二年级的10位同学主动担任义工，进行了为期半个月的培训和6天的义工服务工作。高一年级的1100余名新生、家长及教师在军训期间每晚7：00——10：00参加了为期6天的宜良一中首届中华传统美德讲座的学习。这些学习为我校弘扬中华传统美德，为学生的幸福人生奠定了基础。

老师们、同学们，成绩只能属于过去，我们只有不断开拓进取，不断提高和超越自我，才能节节上升，才能为宜良一中增色添彩。

新学年开始，学校新招聘了14位优秀的大学毕业生充实了教师队伍。信息化工程除监控系统外的所有项目基本验收，功能强大的宜良一中网站已经开通，所有教室配备了多媒体网络，教师配备了电脑及现代化办公设施，教学条件得到了极大改善。每个年级有专门的教室和宿舍，副校长担任年级主任，管理中心下移，强化了年级管理。提高服务意识和服务质量，为每栋学生宿舍重新安装开水器，为学生购置160张铁床，假期为同学修理了桌椅板凳和床铺，在食堂安装了12台液晶电视机。这些措施的落实将会进一步提高学校的管理水平，进一步提高教学质量。

高一的新同学们，你们在军训中战胜高温酷暑，克服重重困难，在教官的辛勤训练下，以坚忍不拔的毅力，勇往直前的精神向全校师生展示了你们严明的纪律，优良的作风，昂扬的士气，高度的责任感和强烈的集体荣誉感，你们在入学的第一天就能有福气学习中华美德，你们有了定力，白天训练晚上3小时的学习就是你们定力最好的证明。我相信：你们以这种精神面貌投入到学习之中，经过坚持不懈的努力和奋斗，三年后一定能拥有令自己骄傲的收获和喜悦。

Every child is surrounded by the deep mother love. However, we often turn a

blind eye to the love. One day I deeply felt the love.

One day I hurried home for lunch after school, because there would be an exam

in the afternoon and I had expected to go back to school early to prepare for

the exam. But when I got home, the lunch was not ready yet. I felt unhappy. When

the dishes were served, I forund none I like. I ran out of my house angrily and

wanderde on the street for a while,hungry. Then I walked to school.

When I got into the classroom, I saw a lunch box on my desk. One classmate

told me that it was my mother ther that had brought it here.After opening the

box, I found my favorite food inside. My eyes was moist with tears.

时光过得可真快，转眼间，我们来到三十五中这个大家庭中，已有一个多月了。这天，我们聚集在月坛体育场，举行了开学典礼。这中间的两个环节令我十分震惊。一个是新高一学生的军训表演，另一个是获得“校长奖”的两名同学的事迹。

先来说说军训表演吧，新高一的同学们身穿迷彩服，戴着军帽，像军人一样挺拔。表演开始了，他们大声喊着“一二三四”的口号声跑上场，脚步声在地板上显得格外整齐。当听到教官的口令“向右看齐”时，他们微弯双腿，小碎步向自我右边的同学看齐。紧凑的声音格外好听。这时，我想到了我们军训时的不足。在“向右看齐”时，有的同学低头向下看，给人一种不自信的感觉；有的同学脚步不紧凑，给人一种懒散的感觉；还有的同学只顾着做动作，却并未关注自我这排的排面到底齐不齐。此刻，不看不明白，一看吓一跳，人家的排面齐，动作快而齐。真是人外有人，山外有山啊。他们还表演了武术，喊的口号声也个性齐。这时，我才注意到，高一同学们穿的衣服都是长袖，他们难道不热吗？当然热啦，同学们脸上的汗珠替我做了回答。这让我更对他们刮目相看了。其实，他们训练的时光也不算太长，只有八天。能练到这样的程度，我自然是钦佩的不得了。于是，我在心中埋下一颗小小的种子，等到高一军训时，我必须要做得比他们更好。

再来说说获得“校长奖”同学的事迹吧。他们在美国贴在墙上的世界地图上发现中国那一部分有错误。于是径直找到了校长，将地图改正过来。爱国心每人都有，但这两位同学的勇气实在值得我们学习。

从这天的开学典礼上，我学到了许多东西。我也对今后在三十五中的学习生活充满了期盼。

We fight for our future together. As there are so many subjects for me to learn,

I spend most of the time studying knowledge. But deep in my heart, I like sports

so much, especially tennis. When I knew our school had tennis club. I felt so

excited and wanted to be part of it. But the problem was that what if I lagged

behind other students in study as I spent the time on this hobby. At last, I

still decided to join tennis club, because I wanted to do something special and

enriched my high school life. I tried hard to make plans for my study. At the

same time, I spared some time to play tennis. I found the balance and enjoyed

the thing l liked.
