同学们，基恩博士少年时的不自信是因为他是一个黑人，他因自己受到歧视而十分自卑和痛苦，并且，他是黑种人这一事实是不可改变的。然而，自信的可贵之处正在于此，自信不是来自于他人或其他事物，而是源于自己的内心和灵魂。无论外部环境多么恶劣，都不会压垮一个灵魂强大的人，也就是真正自信的人。所以我们要想成功，要想坚强，要想快乐，要想激发出自己巨大的潜能，就一定要让自信变成自己的习惯。

已经拥有强大自信心的同学，一定要保持住，并不断扩大自己的自信心。暂时缺乏自信心的同学，要尝试做出改变，《易经》中讲：“穷则变，变则通，通则久。”要努力让自信变成自己的习惯，让自信植入你的潜意识，自信是成功的基石，没有自信，就难以成功。

下面，我跟大家分享几条培养自信心的方法：

①在聚会、开会等场合挑前排的位子坐。一般情况下，多数人都是先挑后面的位子坐，都不希望让自己太显眼，怕受人注目，这是一种缺乏自信的表现，坐前排的位子可以增强你的信心，大家可以当成一个规则试试看。如果说坐前排会比较显眼，那么成功又何尝不是一种显眼呢?

②练习用你的目光正视别人。这是自信的表现，也是正义、诚实、光明磊落的表现。

③加快走路的速度，走路时抬头挺胸，这些积极的动作可以改变一个人的心理状态。懒散、拖沓的人往往是充满抱怨、心情糟糕的人。

④多笑一笑，笑是医治信心不足的一剂良药，笑可以化解与他人的矛盾，笑可以使你有一个良好的人缘。

同学们，自信的人有一个共同的表现，那就是不卑不亢，既不会畏缩自卑，也不会趾高气昂。

大家一定要在今后的学习和生活中培养并提升自己的自信心，如果你想成为一个充满活力与热情的人，一个善良友好的人，一个斗志昂扬的人。一个魅力十足的人，一个成功的人，就一定要做一个真正自信的人!

As the saying goes, "A friend in need is a friend indeed". Friends play a very essential role in our daily life. However, how to make goods friends is a problem for most of us. As for me, I have three principles to choose friends.

The generation gap is unavoidable in almost every family, which brings

about a number of conflicts in a family. In my opinion, to limit the bad effects

of the generation gap, each family should use the following three methods:

First of all, it is important that family members discuss openly about

their pleasures or sadness in childhood in family gatherings. This activity does

not only create a close relationship but also help build up understanding among

all members. For instance, once children are aware that their grandparents and

even their parents did not have a good upbringing during their hard childhood,

they will stop complaining about the previous generations’ obsoleteness. In the

meantime, once old people realize young people are nurtured in a new modern way,

it is easy for them to be tolerant of young people’s new habits or hobbies.

Secondly, people of each generation should not develop a very high feeling

about themselves. In order to do that, they should not think that they are the

only right people in their family because each person has his or her own

limitations. Teenagers would realize that their parents have to struggle with

pain to support them financially, and they would stop rebelling their

strictness. Parents would realize that their children’s new style does no harm

to their studies and stop imposing their own unsuitable standards on their

children.

Finally, the generation gap and its bad effects can be limited if all

members cooperate to build up a close-knit family relationship and a harmonious

atmosphere in which they are open and tolerant of each other. I strongly believe

that each family, by doing that, can enjoy a cozy atmosphere with minimum

interference by the generation gap.

It is known to all that this talented girl always gets inspiration to write songs from her relationships. All of these songs will become the hit songs. The song ranked No.1 in the most powerful music chart. In the song, she described that the girl had a long list of ex-boyfriends, while when she got broke up, there would be a blank space for the next boy. It sounds like her real life, but Taylor tell people’s the boys treat the relationship like a love game and don’t take it seriously.

In recent years, a new type of online shopping is rapidly gaining popularity — group purchasing, which was originally introduced from foreign countries but is now widely accepted all over China. People can buy not only goods, but also all kinds of services on group purchasing sites.

Group purchasing is very convenient, and saves people a lot of money. But it also has some problems. Since group purchasing is nothing more than another form of online shopping, the nature of it is no different from other online shopping patterns. Problems that exist in online shopping also can be found in group purchasing, like deceptive advertisements or poor after-sale services.

In my opinion, we should treat group purchasing as a way of shopping and nothing more. We must be careful not to buy something we don’t need only to follow the fashion.

时间如白驹过隙，今天的我们已不再是在草地里玩过家家的小朋友;今天的我们已不再是大声朗读“床前明月光”的小学生;今天的我们已经告别童年，走向青春。带着对未来的憧憬，我们来到了人大附中，走进了高一生活。

已经开学一个月了，对新的环境有了一定的了解。面对高一生活也有许多感受。

上高一了，第一个感觉是新鲜。校园是那样干净整洁、绿树成荫;老师讲课是那样富有活力、引人入胜;同学们相处是那样融洽、愉快;现代化的图书馆、电教中心、网络中心以及实验室又让我流连忘返。这一切与小学都有着很大差异，是我感到无比新鲜、有趣。

上高一了，第二个感觉是对未来的憧憬与向往。开学典礼上，我们怀着激动的心情把美好的心愿系在气球上，放飞到蓝天。大家的愿望各色各样，有的希望做个音乐家，把中国的传统音乐推向世界;有的希望做个记者，让全人类都为中国今天的飞速发展而惊叹;有的希望做个文学家，让人们听到社会角落里的弱小声音……理想要通过行动才能实现，初中这三年，我们会给未来打下坚实的基础，朝目标一步步迈进。

上高一了，再有的感觉便使紧张。在中学，尤其是优秀的中学，学习的竞争相当激烈，从而也会有一定的压力。稍不留神成绩就会拉在队伍后面，所以丝毫不能放松，要时时都处在学习状态。我们必须要适应这种紧张的学习气氛才能在三年的学习中取得成绩。

上高一了，既激动又期待还紧张。但无论如何，从一点一滴做起，融入到新生活中，让我们以昂扬的心态面对高一生活。

3月1日早晨，我早早地便起了床，因为今天是开学的第一天。哦!我的心情十分紧张，嘿嘿，我的作业还未完成，怕老师批评吗!

我骑着自行车，一阵风似的奔向学校。我心想：无聊而又无味的寒假生活终于结束了，我又可以投入到紧张而又有趣的校园生活中去了。想着想着，我越想越来劲，飞快地奔驰在路上。

眼民，“哇!”我不禁惊叹着，学校里到处洋溢着新的气息。校园里的一切都变了，变得新鲜了。瞧!校园里的冬青个个翠色欲滴，树木个个焕然一新。走进教室，更是到处都充满着同学们的欢声笑语，也许他们还未投入到紧张的学习中吧!看，同学们有的精神饱满，有的开怀大笑，也有的同学却闷闷不乐。可能他们还在想念寒假，不想投进繁忙的学习中吧!

“Hi!”王佳轩过来和我打招呼了，她可是班里的学习尖子，所以见到我的第二名话便是：“你的作业完成了吗?怎么样?难吗?”连珠炮似的问题，还不等我回答，她便又跑去问别人了。我正在整理书包，只见马青云得意地跑过来，说：“喂，你过年挣了多少压岁钱?我可挣了两千多呢!”这可是一位捣蛋分子，与王佳轩形成了鲜明的对比，这就是什么人讲什么话吧!

这时班主任郝老师来了，她清了清嗓子，满面笑容地说：“同学们，现在大家先去打扫卫生，然后给同学们发新书。”一听到“新书”二字，同学们异口同声地喊道：“好!”大家你争我抢地夺过劳动工具，干得是热火朝天，以最快的速度干完，等待着发新书。

轻松的一天随着下课铃声结束了，面对已过去的寒假和新年，面对将来的课堂与校园，同学们一个个表情凝重，神采飞扬早已无影无踪。

高中的生活，开始。

Every year on October 4th is the World Animal Day. It is proposed by the

Italian monk St Francis in 12th century. He lives in the forests of Assisi

Island for the long time, building a good relationship with the animals. So he

asks people to express thanks to the animals on October 4th. He sets a good

example for our human beings about how to deal with the relationship with

animals. In order to memorize him and what he does, we make October, 4th to be

World Animal Day. Nowadays, people from all over the world will hold various

activities to celebrate on that day. The aim of this festival is to remind

people to care for all animals and build a harmonious relationship with

them.

When I was very small, I was so envious about the adults, because they could do whatever they wanted and did not have to depend on their parents. For me, I did not have money and my parents limited my pocket money, so I couldn’t spend the money to buy whatever I wanted. It seems to me that being an adult is my only wish. Some day, I learned from the movie that being an adult was not that as perfect as I thought.

In the movie, the man struggled to earn money to pay his bills, what’s more, he had to stay away from his family.

Loneliness was always around him. To be independent means we can live our own way and make our own decision. We have more freedom. But at the same time, it also means more annoyance. So why just we enjoy this moment.
