The Value of Reading Books

五月三日星期五，蒙蒙细雨，我和家人一起到孙中山故居游玩。

一进园门，只见一棵棵高大挺拔的大树，枝繁叶茂，树下的围栏里有一颗颗奇形怪状的石头，有的是圆的，像缩小的铅球；有的是椭圆的，像大大的鸡蛋；有的凹凸不平，像小岩石……我们继续往前走，来到了孙中山家门前，只见一座经典古老的红房子映入眼帘，有两排半圆型窗户，屋里都是孙中山一家居住的摆设。家的旁边是一座雄伟的博物馆，里面都是历史记载和文物。博物馆左侧摆放着一口大大的铜钟，钟上刻着“共进大同”好不气派。

园内还新增了植物区和动物区，植物区放眼望去一片绿油油的水稻，正向我们微笑；各种各样的蔬菜，有刚长出胡子的玉米，有金灿灿的南瓜，有艳紫色的茄子，有七彩的辣椒等。动物区也有许多成员，有头带红冠的大公鸡，有扁嘴巴的家鸭，有长脖子的大肥鹅等。

我们游览完整个孙中山故居，知识变得更丰富了，真是收获满满的一天啊！

五一假期里，我觉得最有趣的事就是和家人一起到珠海日月贝游玩。

五月三日中午，我们怀着无比兴奋的心情出发了，一路上欢声笑语。沿途的风景十分优美，有争奇斗艳的花朵儿，一望无际的大海，各式各样的风筝在天空中自由的摆动身子……

走在新月桥上，向日月贝方向远远望去，两座贝壳似的雄伟建筑耸立在海面上，正对我的“贝壳”像个太阳，圆圆的；侧着的“贝壳”则像一个弯弯的月亮。银白色的外壳在陽光的照射下闪闪发光。

来到日月贝脚下，我仰头望去，日月贝可真高啊！日月贝底下的灰色建筑就像一双手稳稳地托着贝壳。走进日月贝底座的建筑，原来里面是一个超级大的剧院，这里每天都有高水准的话剧、音乐剧演出。

离开剧院，我们来到长廊吹泡泡，五颜六色的大泡泡在两个贝壳之间飞来飞去，让我仿佛置身在海底世界，真好玩！

日月贝实在是太好玩了，下次我一定还会再来。

One Day of Mine

On May Day, my mother, father, my sister and me went to park to have a picnic, and then visited my grandma and grandpa.

At nine o’clock in the morning, we went to park for picnic. We took juice, cornflakes, apples, oranges, lollipops, bananas, ice creams, mangoes, and so on. I also took toys, such as doll, ball, balloon, skateboard and a kite.

中午吃完饭，我们就开始斗蛐蛐。我的蛐蛐“茄子”先出场。实际上，我也不想叫它“茄子”，只怪它长得太像了。开始斗了，两只蛐蛐一见面，不用蛐蛐草的挑拨，便开牙了。两个虫子一来一回斗得正欢。我感觉自己也加入了这场战斗。我方的“茄子”猛扑上去，张开大牙，直奔对方“闪电”。“闪电”也不甘示弱，张开大腭，做好了战斗的准备。“茄子”用大牙咬住了“闪电”的头，一回头，“闪电”便险些摔了一个跟头。它后腿在地上擦一擦，须子摇一摇，又一个突进，去咬“茄子”的头。可“茄子”却用牙抵住了对方的进攻，闪到了一边。看着看着，我觉得我好像也变成了一只小蟋蟀。我面临的是凶猛的另一只蟋蟀。我随时面临着被咬掉腿、断须子的危险，所以我必须时刻保持警惕。在大战了三百回合后，“闪电”终于因为个头太小而甘拜下风。“茄子”胜了。它激动地来回乱蹦，放声大叫，好像在炫耀自己的战绩一样，我也兴奋无比。

这次活动，我不仅大饱了斗虫的眼福，还享受了捉虫的快乐。这真是一件难忘的事啊！

无聊的假期，可悲的我整日在题海中浮浮沉沉。“咯咯咯，咯咯咯……”一只母鸡大概是下了蛋，得意得似乎想让全世界都知道——本鸡生了一只蛋，哈哈哈……

可恶的鸡叫得我心绪不宁，做题错误百出。哼，老虎不发威，你当我是HelloKitty！行，你不就是下了只蛋嘛，我把蛋拿了，看你还有什么可神气的！

狡猾的鸡趁着我把网兜伸高之际，索性蹲在蛋上，用自己的身体掩护着蛋，时不时地啄旁边的菜叶，惬意极了，好一只赖皮的鸡！

我不服，暗的不行来明的，看我的“旋风十八式”！我快速地挥动着网兜这一有力的武器，鸡不甘示弱，挺着身作战，扑扇着翅膀，跳来跳去不停地啄网兜，我见它这样拼命，更是加大力度。在网兜的强大攻击下，鸡显得势单力薄，左躲右闪还是很不幸地被我打中，发出凄厉的叫声，呵呵，这就是“恶鸡有恶报”吧，我心中暗自得意。

鸡似乎被我惹怒了，恶狠狠地盯着我，弄得我心里直发毛。“小样儿，还敢和本姑娘小眼瞪大眼，信不信我拔了你的毛做鸡毛掸子。”我心里发虚地说道，又用网兜打了它一下。只见它怒气冲冲地扇着翅膀，伸着长脖子，箭似地向前冲去，突然，怪叫一声，弓着腰，脖子上的毛一下子散开了，腾空而起向我扑去。我猝不及防被它啄到手，“啊！”痛得我大声叫喊，手上留下了个血印。

鸡是不好惹的！我感慨良多。

今年“十一”长假，我和爸爸妈妈都放了8天假。爸爸妈妈决定带我去烧烤，我高兴极了，前一天晚上兴奋到到很晚才睡着。第二天早上，老天爷一直阴着脸，不一会儿竟下起了蒙蒙细雨。因为烧烤的东西前一天已经准备好了，不去的话就会浪废掉。大人们作了一个大胆的决定——去爸爸单位的地下车库烧烤。

我们一家人和一些叔叔阿姨还有他们的孩子们到了以后，升起炭火，用砖头围了一个烧烤炉，在上面架上钢丝网，我们就可以开始烤东西吃了。我们准备的东西很多，有火腿肠、牛肉片、猪肉片、韭菜、香菜、茄子、小馒头~~~~~我的妈妈和一位阿姨负责烤肉片，她们把肉放在钢丝网上，抹上油和各种佐料，还要不停地翻动。在抹油的时候，油滴在火上，火就突然燃得好高，要不是妈妈和阿姨翻得快，那烤肉就变成“焦肉”了。我们一边围着看烧烤，一边帮忙用竹签子串肉片、香菜、火腿肠、小馒头~~~~东西慢慢烤熟了，小朋友们开始抢着吃。因为我在小朋友里算大的，因此我都让着那些小弟弟小妹妹们，让他们先吃，我再吃。哇，烤牛肉真是太好吃了！今我回味无穷。因为妈妈和阿姨烤得太美味了，连我弟弟原来是“素食主义”者也开始吃肉了。我们大家把小肚子吃圆了，我心里想，早知道烧烤这么好吃，早上我不吃早饭了。

我和小朋友们吃了很多烧烤后，大家都跑到室外停车场玩用砖头盖房子的游戏。我们的房子盖到一半，大人们就喊我们回家了，我们只好依依不舍地离开了。

想到烧烤，一般会联想到晴天、野外进行，可是这次却是在乌云密布，细雨蒙蒙而且还是在室内烧烤，你说这是不是一件有趣的事？
