We adults live a life of apprehension as to what they will think of us; a life of defense against their terrifying energy; a life of hard work to live up to their great expectations. We put them to bed with a sense of relief---and greet them in the morning with delight and anticipation. We envy them the freshness of adventure and the discovery of life. In all these ways, children add to the wonder of being alive. In all these ways, they help to keep us young.

Two years ago, my father asked me if I wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. I said No at once because I didn’t like this job at all. But now, I change my mind. A month ago I went to see the doctor.

I found that many doctors weren’t careful enough to look over the patients. They liked to give the patients the most expensive medicine. I was very angry. So I make up my mind to be a doctor in the future. Doing this is very rewarding because it can help save people’s lives and make people healthy. My grandma died of cancer.

I want to heal people who have cancer. Now we have no ideas and no good medicine to heal those people. Cancer makes many people lose their lives, makes their relatives cry hard and spends much money. So I will work hard from now on. I wish I could work out this difficult problem with other friends.

This summer, I move to a new city with my parents, and I transfer to a new school. I used to live in the countryside, so my new life is so different from before. The school is a little far from my home, so I go to school by bus. After school, I have many activities in school. Classmates are friendly to me. I learn English now. It’s so interesting that I like it very much. Besides, life in city is different. There are many interesting places to go. At weekends, my parents take me outside. We go to the park, the zoo or go shopping. But we are not so familiar with our neighbors. I think we should build good relationship with them.
