My mother has no idea that her ninetieth birthday is coming up. She has no notion of the time of day, the day of the week. the season of the year, the year of the century. No notion of the approaching millennium. And no idea any longer, who I am. 经过了接近三天的时间，我们来到了炎热的吐鲁番。那里，有一个著名的旅游景点，那就是火焰山。快到火焰山了，可是，真是太热了，我终于知道为什么火焰山要叫火焰山了，因为火焰山那里的天气实在是太热了，真的像有一团火把整个山都燃烧起来了，才叫火焰山的吧。反正我觉得应该是这样的。火焰山光秃秃的，连棵树都没有，如果有很多树的话，那就不会那么热了。（告诉你个奇怪的现象，那虽然那热，可是只要你走到树荫下，立刻就会觉得凉快很多的。）

接下来，我们来到了塔什库尔干县的红旗拉甫边防哨所。那里非常寒冷，尤其是刚从炎热的火焰山走来，就更觉得冷得受不了了。听说，如果山下下雨，那么山上就会下雪呢！你知道下雪的时候是什么季节吗？哈哈！猜错了吧，告诉你，是夏天。哨所最醒目的是一块界碑。一边写着中国，另一边则是巴基斯坦了，界碑的两边分别有中国和巴基斯坦的士兵在守护着自己的国土。

从塔县出来，我们踏上了前往乌鲁木齐的火车。火车一路唱着歌儿，突然我发现道路两旁，上百台风力发电机擎天而立，迎风飞旋，与蓝天、白云相衬，在一望无际的旷野上，形成了一个十分壮观的风车大世界。这里就是亚洲最大的风能基地——新疆达坂城风力发电厂。

乌鲁木齐给我印象最深刻的要数南山牧场了。在美丽的南山牧场，我第一次骑了马。一路上激动的脸红红的，连一只小蜜蜂都飞到了我的脸上，它可能把我的脸当成了一朵红艳艳的小花了。

最后要说说我最爱的美食了。让我难忘的是那甜美的西瓜。那里最大的西瓜有南京大西瓜的两倍那么大，而且比南京的西瓜甜多了。但是它也有一个竞争对手，那就是马奶葡萄。吃完了马奶葡萄再吃甜西瓜，就好像白开水一样。

现在虽然已经结束了暑假生活，可是那难忘的新疆美景将会一直留在我的记忆中。
