过了一会，我和弟弟跟着大人们拿着鱼钩，端了一盘鱼饵，来到了舅妈自家的池塘。小姨丈拿着鱼钩准备给我们做示范，小姨丈用力地把鱼钩抛入水中，静静地等待着，突然，鱼竿往下沉，小姨丈用力往上一拉，好大的一条鱼啊！小姨妈、爸爸妈妈也先后钓到了鱼。看着大人们得意的样子，我和弟弟也迫不及待地各拿了一根鱼竿，学着大人们的样子，拿住鱼钩，用力抛到河里，站在那里一动不动地等待着。

My mother has no idea that her ninetieth birthday is coming up. She has no notion of the time of day, the day of the week. the season of the year, the year of the century. No notion of the approaching millennium. And no idea any longer, who I am. The longing summer vacation is approaching, it is the best part of the
