果然不出我所料，上完第一天课，我学习语文的兴趣就来了。五年级时，是严老师教我们的语文。虽然姓严，可对我们一点都不严厉，而是很和蔼的一位好老师。但那两个学期都很忙，搞什麽远程资源网，上语文课的时间太少了。所以我很渴望上语文课，是您，陈老师让我得到了满足，又让我又回到了我喜欢的语文课堂，我真的很高兴。

课堂上，您领着我们游览祖国的大好河山，走进“甲天下”的桂林山水，感受张家界索溪峪的野性美，了解了旖旎的南国风光——鸟的天堂;是您带着我们走近伟人，并被他们的人格魅力所吸引，有学而不厌、诲人不倦的孔子，为人民鞠躬尽瘁、死而后已的周总理，有敢于向命运挑战的霍金，淡泊名利的居里夫人……我们一同为北京的申奥成功而欢欣鼓舞，为卖火柴小女孩的悲惨命运而伤心落泪，为那大闹天宫天不怕地不怕的孙猴子而赞叹不已。是您让我们与课文中的人物同喜同忧，知道了生活的丰富多彩，世界的广大无边。

以前我总认为上语文课是一件和枯燥的事情，可是自从我了解了你以后，我便喜欢上了语文课。

你还爱拖堂，以前我认为那是在剥夺我玩的时间，可是漫漫的我明白了那时对我们的爱，让我们学到更多知识。

Dear Liu Qi,

I, the undersigned, am a senior in Peking University. The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games is coming in four years. After watching the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, I can not help writing to you.

First of all, here is my suggestion for the preparation work of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The construction work of the sports building must be completed in time according to the contract. In Athens, the swimming stadium was not accomplished in time so that the event had to be held in the open air, which has brought negative effect on the performance of athletes. In one word, to protect the international image of China and ensure the Olympic competition, we must finish our preparation work well and in time.

Last but not least important, I want to express my wish to be a volunteer. In the first place, it is the duty of every Chinese to do his bit for the 2008 Olympic Games. In the second place, I have a good command of foreign languages. I can speak English, Russian, and Japanese. Therefore I can be a qualified volunteer.

December 25 is Christmas Day, the day is originates in the western country,

it is in honor of the birth of Jesus Christ. In the Bible, it is record that

Jesus saved people out of trouble, he is the son of god, he died of suffering

for the purpose of saving people. Jesus is so great, everyone in the western

country knows his story. Though Christmas Day belongs to foreign countries, now

it has become a worldwide festival. In China, we can find the day is more and

more popular, people find the Christmas tree sold in the shop and there are

parties to celebrate Christmas Day. On that day, families get together, having

dinner, eating turkey and sharing happiness. This is a good chance for people to

get reunion, this is the most important day for western people, just like

Chinese New Year.
