On the other hand, there are not only specific individual responsibilities in diverse areas but also some fundamental values and accountabilities, which we all human beings cherish. From the moment one can speak or even is born, the society begins to instill the moral and ethical standards, which is so called humanity in every one‘s mind. The older one is, the deeper influence the humanity would be. When one is just a little child, he would go directly to what he like and claim it. Then when he is old enough, he would realize that it is incorrect and ashamed. And because of the awareness of what is right and wrong, one would probably never do any misdeed again. Actually, humanity is just the common individual responsibility shared by all of us.

Another important measure is to raise peoples living standards. When people full understand the consequences of population expansion, and when their standard of living is raised, the birth rate will decline without compulsion.

Though it is a difficult task, we should try in a thousand and one ways to carry out birth control If we fail to do so, the world will be too crowded to live in, and the natural resources will be used up. Then we will no longer survive on earth.

School is our second home, where we spend the majority of time living and learning. Therefore, a good school environment is the precondition for our health and growth.

However, I am sorry to have witnessed some improper behaviour among us students: scribbling and littering everywhere. Not only does it destroy our school environment, it is also a spoiler of the image of our school.

This issue is now crying out to be solved and it should be a common concern for the school administration, staff, and all the students. In my humble view, the school should place more dustbins around the set up specific rules against those rude practices. At the same time, students should be encouraged to develop good habits and enough awareness of environment protection.

I hold a firm belief, with the joint effort of all people concerned, that our school will become a more enjoyable place in the near future. I am looking forward to a more tidy school, and a more beautiful world.

可是有些同学却不懂得珍惜。请同学们放眼校园仔细看看，是谁把洁白的墙壁打上了鞋印、球印？是谁在墙壁上、桌椅上乱涂乱画？是谁开着水管，让水肆意流失？是谁在草坪、花圃上留下无情的脚印、有的地方甚至走成了小道？又是谁把塑料袋、包装盒、果皮纸屑扔得满地都是？还有谁把花坛当成了嬉戏的乐园？甚至在校园的角落大小便呢？有谁为了自己打乒乓球挡风护球能舒服些，把球案一次次地立了起来？曾有哪些男女生不顾校园内众目睽睽而耳鬓斯磨、交臂贴面，说出中学生不该说的话，做出中学生不该做的事？也曾有一些人总是在别人午休、晚休的时候，在宿舍内外高声喧哗？这些现象与优美的校园环境多么不协调啊！就是这少数的几个人，让我们大多数

同学的努力付诸东流！孰不知，长期如此，将形成一种可怕的陋习，不仅会使美丽的校园遭到破坏，我们的文明和品德也随之丧失！

亲爱的同学们，作为奋中的一名学子，我们谁不渴望校园中能有郁郁葱葱的草地？谁不愿坐在整洁干净的教室里？谁不希望住在舒适温馨的宿舍？校园就是我们的家，我们将在这里学习、生活、长大。保护环境靠大家，我们每位同学都是这个校园里的一名成员，都有维护校园环境的义务和责任。

立即行动起来吧，一片纸，我们捡起；一滴水，我们节约；一堆垃圾，我们打扫。同学们，“勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之”。为此我向奋中全体同学呼吁：让我们积极行动起来，创设学校清洁、文明的校园，需要你，需要我，需要我们大家共同的努力。让我们从今天做起，从现在做起，从身边的小事做起：护草坪、惜绿地、拾垃圾、讲文明、修礼仪。爱我奋中校园，加强自我约束，相互监督，争做保护校园环境的卫士，让我们用自己的行动去营造亮丽的家园。其实，当我们用自己的双手创造校园优美环境的同时，也正塑造着我们美好的心灵和品德。

让我们一起努力做到以下几点：

1．不随地吐痰，不随地乱扔果皮纸屑，见到果皮纸屑，主动捡起来，保持教室、校园的清洁；

2．爱护花草树木，不踩踏草坪，不采摘花朵、不摇晃树木，爱护校园中一切公用设施，比如厕所、门窗、等；

3．搞好寝室卫生和自己的个人卫生，要常开窗户多通风，勤换衣服勤洗手，保持宿舍床铺、物品的整洁；

4．不吸烟，不喝酒。不在教学区等公众场合大声喧哗，制造噪音；自觉遵守不说脏话粗话；随手关灯。

同学们，一些先进国家和地区的人们，常常有一句座右铭的话，那就是“不给别人找麻烦”，我们崇尚文明，我们需要生活在干净、整洁、美丽的生活环境中，然而，为什么我们总把建设、保持和维护的希望寄托在别人身上？为了自己的自由和痛快，去一次次地给别人带来麻烦，去践踏这片宁静，这种美丽和安详？同学们，为了自己、为了大家，请珍惜、保护我们的学校环境，让奋中成为我们学习的乐园，我们美丽的家。

Protection of the Environment Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment. There were few people on the earth, and natural resources seemed to be unlimited. Today things are different. The world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources,and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, human life on earth will not survive. We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products arestill put into rivers. We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems? If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept. Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them. The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control. Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.

The environmental pollution is worse and worse /more and more seriously today. Water is polluted; we have no clean water to drink. Many trees are cutting down, some animals is getting less and less. Some factories are pouring dirty air in the sky, the population is increasing faster and faster, resources are getting less and less…etc. Not only does it affect our lives and health, it but also has a great affection in the future. Peoples health has been greatly affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people died of diseases. In order to live a better life, we need protect our world。

We shouldn’t throw away rubbish everywhere. We want to recycle, reduce, reuse things .Don’t waste things. This saves money and reduces pollution. Use things for as long as possible. We don’t use plastic bags. We must plant more trees and stop the people cutting them .We hope our world becomes more and more beautiful。
