My DreamEveryone has a lot of dreams. Some people want to be rich, dreaming of becoming millionaires overnight. Others want to be famous, dreaming of suddenly jumping to great fame. I have a lot of dreams,too.

When I was a young girl, I dreamed of becoming a scientist like Hua Luogen in future.However, I knew very well that I could not succeed without painstaking efforts. So I studied hard in the middle school and college in order to attain my goal.After graduating from college, I found a job as a teacher.Although I was very busy with teaching, I never gave up my goal. I read a lot of books to get more knowledge. I made experiments to practise and apply what I had learnt from the books. Sometimes, I was so deeply indulged in my research that I forgot my meals and time.

An Accident

One sunny afternoon, when I was merrily riding home, I heard "Help! Help!". I rode to the riverside and found a boy of about five in the river struggling. I jumped into the water, swam to the boy and dragged him to the river bank. the boy said he was trying to catch a fish near the river bank and carelessly fell into the water. Behind every great achievement in anyones life lies perseverance. We see

this in every human endeavor. Outstanding sportsmen spend all their time

practising. Their endurance is beyond imagination.

The same is true of businessmen who build up fortunes. What we usually see

Chinese new year is a chinese traditional festival. We also call it the spring festival. It is on lunar january 1st.

On new years eve, all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner. After dinner, we always watch tv new year progammes. We have a wonderful evening on new years eve.

On the first day of the spring festival, most of people get up early and say “happy new year” to each other. for breakfast, people often eat dumplings and baozi. After breakfast, people often make many delicious foods, and children often play cards, computer games and fireworks. On the second and third day, we visit friends and relatives.
