That was spectacular. Tonight, the world was able to join in a magnificent tribute to the athletes and the Olympic spirit. It was an unforgettable and moving ceremony that celebrated the imagination, originality and energy of the Beijing Games.

We saw 204 national delegations march into the beautiful new National Stadium in the age-old tradition of the Games. Millions of people around the world were able to experience the thrill of seeing their heroes in a sea of team colours and national flags.

We witnessed athletes from these 204 countries and territories united in peace in one place. And for the next 16 days, they will be a part of one of the most thrilling competitions in history. As an Olympian, I can tell you that they will carry this memory with them forever.

This iconic stadium is one of the worlds new wonders. It was a fitting setting for an amazing Opening Ceremony, I look forward to an equally exciting and unforgettable 16 days.

今天是军训的第一天，天气有点让人受不了，就是在这样天气的条件下，我们大一新生开始了第一天的训练。

第一天的军训 累成了今天军训的主色调，像今天的训练科目之一，站军姿，看起来挺简单的事儿。可是做起来就能要人命。一动不动地在滚烫的水泥地一站就是几十分钟，这样教官还说他们那是一站就是两个小时，没法跟他们比，训练结束后。大家吃饭也成了问题，不是大家不饿。而是吃不进去，饭是少吃，可是饮水量是大大地提高了，可能是训练太累流汗太多的原因。晚上八点多，辅导员开完班会，大家就迅速赶回寝室，洗完澡。准备上床睡觉。晚上十一点，大家的呼声中我们结束了第一天的军训。

虽然今天的训练很累，看我还是有所收获的。作为一名大学生，我们不用像屠洪纲歌中唱到的一样。站似似一棵松。坐似一座钟，倒是一张弓 。我希望这次军训我能有更大的收获。

早上六点的时候，随着一声便是哨子的响声，整个宿舍，四个男生，同时猛的醒了过来，那速度确实比世界田径百米运动员的反应速度还要快啊!然后经过紧张而又有规律的洗漱，接下来是把乱成一团糟的床整理好，这倒是没什么，可是偏偏却要把被子叠成“豆腐块”啊!这对我们显然是个考验，虽然说已经经过很多次的练习，可是将“豆腐渣”弄成“豆腐块”，这可就有点强人所难了，哎，还是不管了，叠吧……

吃过早饭，中队长带领我们一行63人走到了我们训练的指定区域。还别说，整个中队整齐的排列在一起，还真有点军人的架势。

令人最痛苦的就是站军姿了，有点恐惧站军姿啊!虽然说军姿是所有动作的基础，但我还是觉得一直站军姿还不如在军姿的基础上做些动作。站着站着，我开始有了胸闷的现象。我心里想，我能行!我能开始坚持。可是越往后，我越觉得胸口像锤子咋的，石头压着，喘不过气来。好吧，我两眼一黑，就差两腿一蹬的倒下了!被老师搀扶着下去休息，老师拿着手中的小扇子不停地给我扇风，还能我拿了水，令我颇为感动!

经过一个上午的军训，我想：骨子里的军人情结会爆发，以后会越来越好的。

As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. Perhaps I was born in northern city, though my city is nearby sea, it has been built a U port which I can only see cargo ships and can t see the sweeping ocean. So I have never see the dragon boat contest since I was born. So the dragon boat festival is just a holiday for eating Zong Zi . My mother made Zong Zi when I was a child. Because there was no supermarket, we couldn t buy finished product from market. However, now, we can buy anything in supermarket, so my mother didn t make them anymore. The boat festival began to fade out my mind.

In reality, young people began to have a bug to celebrate foreign festivals, such as Christams, Saint Valentine s day, April Fool s Day, some people also celebrate Easter in church. Talk about Dragon boat festival, it s the same as some foreign conventional festivals, such as Witch s Day in Czech. People burned the witch s puppet so as to welcome spring. People who lived in Xiamen are able to visit Xiapu or Wu Yi mountain, these tourist attractions are in Fujian province,which is suit a short tirp. but I d like to stay at home for my decorate painting. I decide to draw two canvases about Christmas, it s really a big project. Then I ll hang them on the new house wall. I must start it now, or I can t finish them before Christmas eve.
