近些年，教育出现了不少新情况，其中之一是在一些城市中，出现了各种各样的“打工者子弟学校”，专门流动人口子女就学。对于此显现，各方面的意见很不一致。一方面，在各大城市中打工的流动人口表现明显的欢迎。其原因在于：他们认为，上不起城市的公立中小学。公立学校如果接受外来人口的子女上学，在正常的学杂费之外，一般要收较高的借读费和赞助费。另外，他们认为自己的子女在公立学校上学还会受到城市孩子的歧视。而“打工者子弟学校”一方面收费比较低，而且服务也很热情，孩子也不会受到城市小孩的歧视。

关于办学条件问题，很多人认为应当考虑具体情况，相当于公立学校，这些“打工者子弟学校”的教学条件肯定比较差。然而，根据这些学生的家庭的收入水平和支付能力，我们是否一定要去那么高标准教学条件呢?如果政府不能负担这些孩子教育的费用，我们能看着它们失学吗?我们是否要拥有者的教学条件作为学生入校的门槛呢?只要能改这些孩子一个受教育的机会，条件简陋的学校应当是可以生存的。实际上，流动人口将子女送到这类学校主要是经济上的考虑，这类学校收费较低相当于贫民学校，使这些家庭的经济条件。

在我们班就有一位流动人口儿童，他跟着父母一起来到到这里。。起初，他在班上不怎么说话，上课只是认真听讲也不发言……过了一段日子，有几位同学“邀请他去玩，于是他露出了在校园里的第一张笑脸，随后他经过和老师同学的沟通慢慢变得开朗起来，学习也十分优异，现在成了我们班的尖子生。

如果给流动儿童一个学习的机会，一个沟通的机会，他们就会和别人平等。
