October 28 Friday Sunny

Last week something terrible took place in our class:one of our classmates Xiao Li, fell down the stairs of our classroom building. He got badly hurt. He had to stay in hospital for a long time. How unfortunate he was!

So this afternoon all our classmates and our teacher, Mr Yan, were going to the fields to help Xiao Li s family gather the grain.

After lunch we set out. It was a long way from our school to Xiao Li s home. It took us half an hour to get there by bike.

Then we walked to the fields, bent down and began to work. Some of us worked very quickly though some had never done any farming work before. Time went by quickly and we knocked off about 4 o clock.

Xiao Li s parents were thankful. “It s very kind of you to come and help us,”they said. They invited us to have a rest in their houses and gave us a lot of things to eat. After that we went back.

(3)在英语中“严老师”，应说 Mr Yan。

(4)field 泛指“农田”时，一般用复数。

(5)根据上文 help 应是 went to the fields 的目的状语，而不是并列的动作，故应用不定式 to help。另外，Xiao Li s family 如果用 them代替则指代不清。这种指代不清的错误，中国学生尤其要注意避免。用代词时，一般上下文要有相应的名词存在。

I am a middle school student. I study many subjects at school. There are Chinese, maths, English, PE and so on. Among them, I like English best, because in class I can not only learn how to use the language but also know some foreign culture. 1、思想重视的不够

随着各种教学法涌入我国，对我国英语教学影响最大的当数“听说法”和&ldquo,日记;视听法”。这些教学法提倡将英语作为一门工具来对待，侧重学生语言技能的训练。然而，我们在着意于口头技能培养的同时却忽略了书面阅读和写作，在强调语言结构形式的反复操练的同时却忽略了学生语言能力的培养，从而导致教师和学生轻视英语写作现象的产生。

2、写作素材的缺乏

教师对小学英语写作究竟要写些什么缺乏明确的认识。大部分写作练习表现为简单机械的抄写，学生容易完成，老师易于批改，但写作内容与学生生活缺乏练习。

3、母语文法的束缚

小学生刚刚接触英语，在表达的过程中难免受到母语的构词法、语法和思维方式的影响，用汉语的方式组词或组句，以至于出现大量的文法错误，让人啼笑皆非。

The winter morning is very cold. I dont want to get up at all. The bed is so

大家都知道，夏天最烦人的就是知了的叫声了，尤其是在山村里，在大热天里，几乎每分每秒都有这烦人的噪音，无处不在．

而我就更惨了，我家院子旁不到一米处，就有一棵大梧桐树，每天早上一到８到９点就开始唧唧喳喳的唱起歌来了，直到晚上10到11点，早上很好的学习时间都被它们搅和了．

The summer holidayis end and the new term begins. In the new term, I am a

student of grade six. Itsthe last year in primary school. In order to have a

good ending, I must workharder. So my scores can be better. Besides, I want to

spend more time with myclassmates and friends. We have been very good these
