5月8日星期四

今天下午，英语老师拿考卷来发，没想到第一个就是我，我连害怕的时间都没有了。

可我拿到考卷的时候，这简直是老天送给我的惊喜。我考了98分！从四年级开始，我英语考试就没有一次能上九十分以上，不是七十几，就是八十几。可这回，竟然得了个98分！太让人不敢相信，连我自己感到不可思议。当我看到扣分数的那一道错题时，脸一下阴了下来——只是四个开头没写大写字母，就扣2分！这2分扣得未免太冤了吧。我把考卷拿着，快步走到位置上时，刚好老师叫到了姚子恒的名字。我以为他的分数会比我的分数高。没想到，哈哈，竟然比我的分数少。我得意扬扬，只能用考卷挡在我面前，好收敛我的得意。

记得考试的时候，我是擦了又改，改了又擦，前面两面才全对的。还有，第一题连线的，连单词和意思，这几单元的单词我都能背出来，称得上倒背如流，这种小题难不倒我。哦，我太激动了，还是收敛不住。

还有，还有，第五题简直是奇迹！这题的意思，我都不明白，只能跳过，等我全部写完了，再返回来写。这时，英语老师已经要收卷了，我也不知道是什么意思就随便填，没想到我瞎猫碰上死耗子，全蒙对了！

哇，这次我考得很满意，我又收敛不住了……

It was the third day of our winter holiday. Today, there are many business in my mother’s company. So my mother told me to help my uncle who is the manager of my mother’s company. I sat in my mother’s office and help her answer the telephone. While I was free, I was writing my homework. Although I also have a lot of time to do my homework, I still do it. Today we saw a movie at noon and in the afternoon. It’s name suggested that it was a horrific one, but it wasn’t horrific at all. We finished watching at 5:30pm, and walked to our dormitories when we got there, it was 6:00. we had our dinner as quickly as we could and then rushed to the classroom. I’ve never been in such a hurry! In the afternoon we acted. We watched to a short play for three times and the teacher asked us to act. Though the play had been changed a little, it was still very good we all acted very well. The teacher also gave some group prizes. Though my group hadn’t hot once, I didn’t mind.

Today was the second day of our Hong Kong visit. I was very happy as

I was so busy in the previous winter holiday for I am going to take the

university entrance exam in July this year. Everyday, I buried myself in

studying. I had to review each required subject and do lots of exercises.

Besides, because I did bad in mathematics and physics, I had to do much more

exercises than other courses, which made me discouraged. I spent more than ten

hours a day in studying. When I was tired, I watched TV or listened to music for

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Qingming Festival, also known as Pure Brightness Festival or Tomb-sweeping Day, is one of the 24 segments of the Chinese calendar. It normally falls on the 4th or 5th of April, between spring plowing and summer weeding, and is a time to pay respects to ones ancestors and to tidy their gravesite. On this day, whole families, young and old, go to the gravesite of deceased family members to burn incense and perform a ritual offering while clearing away plant overgrowth from the gravesite.

Qingming Festival is when Chinese people visit the graves or burial grounds of their ancestors. Traditionally, people brought a whole rooster with them to the graves visited but the occasion has become less formal over time. The festival originated from Hanshi Day (寒食节, literally, Day with cold food only), a memorial day for Jie Zitui (介子推). Jie Zitui died in 636 BC in the Spring and Autumn Period. He was one of many followers of Duke Wen of Jin before he became a duke.

Once, during Wens 19 years of exile, they had no food and Jie prepared some meat soup for Wen. Wen enjoyed it a lot and wondered where Jie had obtained the soup. It turned out Jie had cut a piece of meat from his own thigh to make the soup. Wen was so moved he promised to reward him one day. However, Jie was not the type of person who sought rewards. Instead, he just wanted to help Wen to return to Jin to become king.

Once Wen became duke, Jie resigned and stayed away from him. Duke Wen rewarded the people who helped him in the decades, but for some reason he forgot to reward Jie, who by then had moved into the forest with his mother. Duke Wen went to the forest, but could not find Jie. Heeding suggestions from his officials, Duke Wen ordered men to set the forest on fire to force out Jie. However, Jie died in the fire. Feeling remorseful, Duke Wen ordered three days without fire to honour Jies memory. The county where Jie died is still called Jiexiu (介休, literally "the place Jie rests forever").

A new year,a new start, when I stand on the edgeof a new year, I cant help thinking about my plan of next year.

Everyone has a dream.

Now I want to say something about my dream. What is my dream? I often ask

myself. In my mind, everyone shall have his own dream. I think that having a

My dream is to become a successful doctor, helping those sick people and
